Infanticide is real, Catholic bioethicist tells Tucker Carlson
Catholic bioethicist Charles Camosy told Tucker Carlson that Donald Trump is right that infanticide is real. Tim Walz, Kamala Harris’s running mate, signed legislation that effectively legalized infanticide in Minnesota.

The Tucker Carlson Show
Oct 7, 2024
(LifeSiteNews) — “It’s absolutely true” that infanticide happens, a Catholic medical ethicist confirmed to Tucker Carlson recently.
It happens not only in the “abortion context” but with other individuals whom medical professionals deem unworthy of trying to save, Charles Camosy said during an interview posted on October 3. Carlson had asked him in the context of the 2024 presidential election and Donald Trump’s statements that Tim Walz and Kamala Harris support infanticide.
Professor Camosy teaches at Creighton University’s medical school. He frequently writes and comments on bioethical issues.
Doctors will slowly kill off babies, often those who are disabled, through “slow coding” or “show coding,” Camosy said. They ignore the wishes of the parents in doing so.
Tim Walz, the Democratic governor of Minnesota, has signed legislation that allows medical practitioners to deny life-saving care to babies who survive abortions, which is a form of infanticide.
Carlson questioned how it is not a crime to slowly kill off babies.
Camosy said it “should be a crime.”
He distinguished this from an adult making the conscious decision to forego chemotherapy or other extraordinary interventions. With infanticide or “slow coding,” the patient, being a baby, has no say in the matter.
Parents will also be pressured to abort babies who may have Down syndrome, Professor Camosy said.
He told Carlson:
Quote:We call it “comfort care” again. But let me give you another example of how this works. Sometimes, and very often, parents are encouraged to have abortions in these cases where they choose not to, they push back on the medical team, like if there’s a Down syndrome diagnosis, for instance, prenatally. The medical teams, this is well documented, will push them time and time again to have abortions, even very pro-life, very prenatal justice focused parents get bombarded by medical teams again.
Carlson said he has “lived” through that, alluding to a “false diagnosis” in his family.
Doctors have ways to kill off babies even when the parents refuse abortions, Camosy warned.
He shared a story of a baby born with spina bifida. “These teams will get so frustrated that they’ll say, okay, we can’t convince you to have an abortion,” Camosy said. “There’s still things we can do after birth,” under the guise of “comfort care,” according to the medical ethicist, that will lead to death.
“Isn’t that the opposite of your job?” Carlson asked Camosy, wondering how a doctor could remain in the profession if he pushes parents to kill their children.
‘Medical establishment’ embraces ‘Nazi eugenics’
Carlson and Camosy drew parallels between today’s medical practices to not only the pre-Christian west, such as discarding babies in Greece and Rome, but also Nazi Germany.
In fact, while doctors may consider themselves “anti-Nazi,” according to Carlson, they embrace the same eugenics practices of the Nazis.
The conservative commentator said:
Quote:And I just find it so interesting that we spend a lot of time 80 years later talking about the Nazis. And obviously the Nazis are bad. Everyone agrees with that very much, including me. But the one thing that we almost never mention is that before they started rounding up other populations, the Nazis killed hundreds of thousands – about 300,000 – Germans in hospitals. The disabled children, a lot of them had ‘comfort care,’ but it was murder, and we never talk about that for some reason. And it’s sort of weird to see the American medical establishment, which I think thinks of itself as anti-Nazi, it’s weird to see them embrace Nazi eugenics policy, because that’s exactly what they’re doing.
“At the early stages of life, yes,” Camosy confirmed, calling abortion a “sacred cow” to the medical establishment.
However, there is a “little more hope” with “end of life” issue, Camosy said, pointing out that the American Medical Association still opposes assisted suicide. However, as he noted, there are regular efforts to reverse this opposition.
Later, Carlson questioned why Down syndrome advocacy groups don’t say more about the “genocide” against their own people.
“I think they should be ashamed of their cowardice,” Carlson said. “But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t great disability rights groups.”
Camosy said he is hopeful disability rights groups can be brought further into the pro-life movement, as they have been effective opponents of assisted suicide and euthanasia.
‘The idea of fundamental human equality is dying’
Camosy warned “[t]he idea of fundamental human equality is dying.”
He pointed out a variety of troubling trends in how society is moving away from “fundamental human equality.”
He said:
Quote:We’re no longer on the trajectory of trying to live this idea out more consistently. We are now in a very different trajectory. People are losing their fundamental equality. We are thinking less about how to do this and more about, well, is it really being human that matters at the end of the day? Maybe it’s about autonomy, maybe it’s about rationality, maybe it’s about self-awareness. Maybe it’s about IQ. I’ve heard more and more people talking about IQ recently in ways that I find sort of disturbing, especially given what you said about Nazi Germany. And so, once you move away from fundamental human equality, you’re left with these trait x’s, I call them.
Carlson shared his own view of equality.
“God doesn’t care what your IQ is. It has nothing to do with whether or not you have a soul,” he said. “You have a soul because you’re a human being.”
“Your soul is identical in value to mine. You may have an IQ twice mine,” he said. “You may be three times as rich as me. It doesn’t matter. None of that matters. Just to be clear about my view on this.”
‘Brain death’ contributes to dehumanization
Camosy said the concept of “brain death,” which was developed in the 1960s, has contributed to the dehumanization. He referenced a committee from Harvard University that suggested individuals on ventilators have “brain death,” which will allow for organ harvesting.
The Harvard medical school dean opposed this proposal, according to Camosy, pointing out the guidelines were being pushed just to harvest organs. “And so they changed the document. But it’s still, even with the edited document, it’s very clear, and this is historically well known, that this is what happened,” Camosy said.
However, people with “brain death” are clearly alive, since these individuals can still gestate, for example. “They can fight off infections. If you cut into their body, they release adrenaline, and their heart rate speeds up,” Camosy said.
‘We should have reverence for death itself’
Later on in the interview, the pair continued discussing death, particularly in the context of war.
Carlson said:
Quote:I’m probably make myself super unpopular for saying this, but I remember when Osama bin Laden got shot to death and I hated Osama bin Laden. He killed a friend of mine. Actually, I’m not for Osama bin Laden, but I thought…When someone dies, we should have reverence for death itself. I mean, we can be happy that someone who is attacking us is gone and the threat is gone. I think that’s worth celebrating. But we should never feel glee watching a human soul be extinguished. I just don’t. I think that’s a really ugly habit to get into. And it diminishes us and turns us into monsters. It turns us into Osama bin Laden-type people.
Shortly after, Camosy asked if a “revival” could be happening, asking Carlson about his experience traveling around the country recently.
“Do we see other human beings as fellow human beings, as people with souls whose lives inherently matter, whether we like them or the life they’re living or not… how do we see ourselves?” Carlson asked.
“Do you really believe you have the right to kill someone, except in self-defense?… Only God has that power,” Carlson said.
He said “rapid technological advances” in the past 80 years have led to a “hollow culture” where people “think they’re God.” The “recognition” of this problem is leading to a “spiritual yearning” and a “kind of revival,” Carlson said.
Some ethicists gave in to ‘fear’ with the COVID jabs
The pair discussed several other topics at the end of the interview, including bodily autonomy when it comes to refusing the abortion-tainted COVID jabs as well as the cultural harms of contraception.
“Anyone who forces a vaccine on somebody, by definition, is not respecting patient autonomy,” Carlson said. “If I’m telling you you’re required by law to put some drug in your body that you don’t want, how am I treating you as a human being? I’m treating you as my slave, as a subhuman.”
Camosy agreed there is a disconnect between people who support “autonomy” for so-called “reproductive rights” – i.e. the destruction of unborn babies in abortion – but not the jabs.
Asked by Carlson what ethicists said at the time, Camosy said many were taken in “by fear.”
“Don’t we have ethicists precisely for the moments that are ruled by fear?… When we lack a clear consensus on the right direction and when our judgment is muddled by panic, that’s exactly the moment we need clear thinking ethicists, correct?” Carlson asked, laughing at how many were “swept away” during the panic.
Camosy said “conscience is the place where you meet God in the most profound way.”
“We ought to respect people’s conscience rights to choose not to take the vaccine,” Camosy said. “But it’s so interesting that those arguments sort of evaporated in light of all that fear.”
Carlson then shared how he had noticed the supporters of birth control were the same ones pushing other “anti-fertility” positions. He has previously criticized birth control, as reported by LifeSiteNews.
He said:
Quote:The reason I’ve had cause to rethink all this is because I’ve noticed that almost every major push from the public health community and certainly from our politicians is anti-fertility. That’s what they’re focused on. It’s the one right you possess is the ‘right’ to have an abortion. That’s the only. You don’t have the right to speak freely, to have control of your own money, to gather with like-minded people, to protest or petition your government, none of those rights still exist.
“The only right you have is the ‘right’ to end your pregnancy and of course to prevent it in the first place through birth control,” he said rhetorically. “And I just, I’m sensing a theme where I’m not a genius, but I have noticed that the thread that connects all of their main concerns is the same and is they don’t want you to have kids. And why is that?” he asked.
Camosy pointed out that women do want to have more kids but have fewer. There could be economic factors at play, Camosy suggested.
Carlson pointed out that leftist Senator Elizabeth Warren “wrote a wonderful book” about the “two-income trap.” This is the idea that consumerism and women in the workplace has driven up the cost of goods, which means families feel like both parents then have to work, which continues the cycle.
People want to “be with their own children,” Carlson said.
Camosy said the “two-income trap” is embedded in our society.
Carlson denounced it as “so rotten and anti-human,” adding, “It’s denying people the true source of joy.”

New Cardinals: Mostly Unknown Figures, Some Heretics
gloria.tv | October 6, 2024
Most of the 21 cardinals named by Francis today are unknown, mediocre figures whose main merit is that they have never done anything in their lives that would hinder their careers.
Some of them are known for their homosexual activism (Vesco, Radcliffe, Kikuchi) or anti-Catholic propaganda (Castillo Mattasoglio, Repole).
Ten out of 21 belong to religious orders. Africa has only a single candidate and is punished because the African bishops don't put up with Francis' homosexual propaganda.
They will be made cardinals on 8 December 2024.
Here is a list of the future Cardinals:
1. Angelo Acerbi, 99 (!), Apostolic Nuncio
2. Carlos Gustavo CASTILLO MATTASOGLIO, 74, Archbishop of Lima (Peru)
3. Vicente BOKALIC IGLIC C.M., 72, Archbishop of Santiago del Estero (Primate of Argentina).
4. Luis Gerardo CABRERA HERRERA, O.F.M., 68, Archbishop of Guayaquil (Ecuador).
5. Fernando Natalio CHOMALÍ GARIB, 67, Archbishop of Santiago de Chile (Chile).
6. Tarcisio Isao KIKUCHI, S.V.D., 65, Archbishop of Tokyo (Japan).
7. Pablo Virgilio SIONGCO DAVID, 65, Bishop of Kalookan (Philippines).
8. Ladislav NEMET, S.V.D., 68, Archbishop of Beograd -Smederevo, (Serbia).
9. Jaime SPENGLER, O.F.M., 64, Archbishop of Porto Alegre (Brasil).
10. Ignace BESSI DOGBO, 63, Archbishop of Abidjan (Ivory Coast).
11. Jean-Paul VESCO, O.P., 62, Archbishop of Alger (Algeria).
12. Paskalis Bruno SYUKUR, O.F.M., 62, Bishop of Bogor (Indonesia).

Canadian church goes up in flames for the third time in a week
A Franciscan Catholic church in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, which was sold to a developer, was a near total loss after a fire broke out on Thursday, but police are mum on a possible cause.

(LifeSiteNews) – A massive fire reduced a Canadian church to ashes for the third time in less than a week.
Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses, a century-old Franciscan Catholic church in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, was a near total loss after a fire broke out on Thursday. The church, built in 1914, was not in use. It had been sold to developers, who planned to build 40 small apartments inside with additional units in the back of the building.
Nevertheless, the historic church blaze spread rapidly, and fire crews were not able to fully contain the flames, which resulted in extensive damage to the building, including one of its bell towers that collapsed.
Despite not being an active church, 11 Franciscan brothers were staying in a building connected to the back of the church but were able to get out in time before the blaze went out of control.
According to Father Guylain Prince, who oversees the local Franciscan congregation, the fire forced his 10 brothers from the scene.
“It was the only parish that was active (in the area) for more than 100 years by Franciscans, so it was we who built it. It contained frescoes by St. Francis, stained glass windows. It is a superb church, an extraordinary church,” Prince said, according to local media, which reported that the owner of the church is still “in shock” about what happened.
“We’re gonna sit down with the city authorities to see what we can do. This is not a standard building, it is a very special building,” said Georges Mouradian, the church’s new owner.
The official cause of the blaze is not fully known. Local police are mum on a possible cause.
In the span of a week, Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Allégresses is the third church to go up in flames in Canada. LifeSiteNews reported that one Catholic and Anglican church were destroyed.
Since the spring of 2021, 112 churches, most of them Catholic, have been burned to the ground, vandalized or defiled in Canada.
The church burnings started in 2021 after the mainstream media and the federal government ran with inflammatory and dubious claims that hundreds of children were buried and disregarded by Catholic priests and nuns who ran some of the now-closed residential schools.
Conservative Party of Canada (CPC) MP Jamil Jivani has urged support from his political opponents for a bill that would give stiffer penalties to arsonists caught burning churches down, saying the recent rash of destruction is a “very serious issue” that is a direct “attack” on families as well as “religious freedom in Canada.”
LifeSiteNews reported in August that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet said it will expand a multimillion-dollar fund geared toward documenting claims that hundreds of young children died and were clandestinely buried at now-closed residential schools, some of them run by the Catholic Church.
LifeSiteNews reported last week that Leah Gazan, backbencher MP from the New Democratic Party, brought forth a new bill that seeks to criminalize the denial of the unproven claim that the residential school system once operating in Canada was a “genocide.”
Canadian indigenous residential schools, run by the Catholic Church and other Christian churches, were set up by the federal government and were open from the late 19th century until 1996.
While there were indeed some Catholics who committed serious abuses against native children, the unproved “mass graves” narrative has led to widespread anti-Catholic sentiment since 2021.

FSSP gets apostolic visitation from the Vatican

Sep 28, 2024
(LifeSiteNews) — The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) has been informed that it will receive an apostolic visitation from the Vatican.
The FSSP is an international community of priests, under the authority of the Holy See, which celebrates the Traditional Latin Mass in churches around the world.
Pope Francis’ reign has been marked by a series of disciplinary actions against traditional and conservative clergy, and by introducing significant restrictions of the celebration of the Traditional Latin Mass.
In November 2023 Bishop Joseph Strickland was personally removed from his diocese by Pope Francis following an apostolic visitation. Shortly afterwards Strickland revealed that one of the reasons for his removal was his refusal to cancel the Latin Mass in the diocese of Tyler, Texas.
In a communique published earlier this week the FSSP announced the news of their visitation, adding that they have been informed by Vatican authorities that “this visit does not originate in any problems of the Fraternity.”
The visitation will be conducted by the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, which has been in charge of the FSSP and similar priestly institutes for the past three years.
LifeSiteNews Editor in Chief, John-Henry Westen, has called for prayers for the FSSP.
Communiqué of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Peter
Fribourg, September 26, 2024
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) has recently been informed by the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life of the opening of an apostolic visitation of the Fraternity. As the Prefect of this Dicastery himself made clear to the Superior General and his assistants during a meeting in Rome, this visit does not originate in any problems of the Fraternity, but is intended to enable the Dicastery to know who we are, how we are doing and how we live, so as to provide us with any help we may need.
The last ordinary apostolic visit of the Fraternity was undertaken in 2014 by the Ecclesia Dei Commission. As the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life has been in charge of the FSSP and other former Eccelsia Dei institutes for the past three years, it now the competency of this Dicastery to look after the FSSP.

Bishop Schneider: Pope Francis has contradicted ‘the entire Gospel’ |

NB: While one certainly applauds Bp. Schneider (and those who like him) for speaking out against Francis' errors, however, as is the case with so many Conciliar Catholics, they ignore that these same erroneous principles are found right in the documents of Vatican II and yet are silent on that point.
Bishop Schneider: Pope Francis has contradicted ‘the entire Gospel’
Speaking to Raymond Arroyo, Bishop Athanasius Schneider firmly critiqued and rejected Pope Francis' claim that 'every religion is a way to arrive at God.'

Sep 27, 2024
VATICAN CITY (LifeSiteNews) — Bishop Athanasius Schneider has stated that Pope Francis has contradicted “the entire Gospel” with the claim that all religions are a way to God.
Speaking with EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo on The World Over, Kazakhstan’s Bishop Athanasius Schneider responded to the controversial comment made by Pope Francis on his recent trip to Singapore.
“Every religion is a way to arrive at God,” the Pope said. “There are different languages to arrive at God, but God is God for all. And how is God God for all? We are all sons and daughters of God. But my god is more important than your god, is that true? There is only one God and each of us has a language to arrive at God. Sikh, Muslim, Hindu, Christian, they are different paths.”
When asked by Arroyo about this, Schneider was clinical in his critique:
Quote:Such an affirmation of Pope Francis is clearly against the divine revelation, it contradicts directly the first Commandment of God which is ever valid – “You shall not have other gods beside me” – this is so clear, and such a statement contradicts the entire Gospel.
Continuing, Schneider reminded viewers that “Jesus Christ said, ‘No one comes to the Father except through me.’”
Quote:“He is the only way to God, there are no other ways or paths,” said the auxiliary bishop of Astana. “So in this statement sadly, regrettably Pope Francis plainly contradicts the first Commandment of God and the entire Gospel.”
Francis’ comments have caused widespread controversy and confusion among concerned Catholics, and consternation remains high even though he made the remarks now two weeks ago during an inter-religious meeting of young people in Singapore.
When Arroyo raised this issue of how a Pope could say such a statement, Schneider pointed back to the betrayal of Christ by St. Peter in the Gospels.
Quote:God permitted that the first pope, Simon Peter, he renounced [and] denied Christ three times, and he was appointed the vicar of Christ and nevertheless he denied Christ three times. So God permitted it that it could also happen in the future, that a successor of Simon Peter would speak some words which are contrary to the divine truth.
Such a scenario, commented Schneider, “is rare, but it happened with Peter and it happened in very rare cases in history. But Peter repented, and he again defended Christ and confessed Him and gave his life for Christ as a martyr.”
The auxiliary bishop urged Catholics “to simply pray for Pope Francis that he may receive this grace of the Lord as Peter received, to repent and to again clearly, courageously confess that there is no other name given to man in which they can be saved except Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God, the only redeemer of mankind.”
The Catholic Church teaches that “[t]he one true Church established by Christ is the Catholic Church.” {Q. 152}. Additionally, the Church notes that all souls must “belong” to the Church to be saved: “All are obliged to belong to the Catholic Church in order to be saved.” {Baltimore Catechism Q 166.}
This teaching has remained constant, though is currently heard with less regularity or clarity than in previous decades.
Pope Leo XII pronounced it clearly in his 1824 encyclical letter Ubi Primum:
Quote:It is impossible for the most true God, who is Truth Itself, the best, the wisest Provider, and the Rewarder of good men, to approve all sects who profess false teachings which are often inconsistent with one another and contradictory, and to confer eternal rewards on their members. For we have a surer word of the prophet, and in writing to you We speak wisdom among the perfect; not the wisdom of this world but the wisdom of God in a mystery.
By it we are taught, and by divine faith we hold one Lord, one faith, one baptism, and that no other name under heaven is given to men except the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in which we must be saved. This is why we profess that there is no salvation outside the Church.
[...]
Schneider himself has already critiqued Francis’ 2019 Abu Dhabi declaration, which argued that the “diversity of religions” is “willed by God.” Issuing a public condemnation of the text, Schneider subsequently published another statement warning that “men in the Church today are in fact promoting the neglect of the first Commandment of the Decalogue and the betrayal of the core of the Gospel.”

FBI whistleblower urges Americans to vote, pray the Rosary and do First Friday devotions
‘Despite the stress and uncertainty, I’ve never once regretted standing up for truth. Indeed, my family and I persevered due to our strength in faith, God’s grace and the sacraments,’ said FBI whistleblower Marcus Allen.

(LifeSiteNews) — An FBI whistleblower who had his security clearance revoked and pay suspended for questioning the official Jan. 6 narrative is now urging Americans to pray the rosary and practice the First Friday devotion, as well as to vote and arm themselves.
Marcus Allen, an FBI staff operations specialist whose security clearance has been restored as part of a settlement with the bureau earlier this year, told the Judiciary Subcommittee on Weaponization of the Federal Government on Wednesday how he was severely retaliated against for sharing information with his superiors and others that, as he previously noted, “questioned the official narrative of Jan. 6.”
“The FBI questioned my allegiance to the United States, suspended my security clearance, suspended my pay and refused to allow me to obtain outside employment or even accept charity,” testified Allen, a devout Catholic. He was then forced to take early withdrawals from a retirement account to pay his mortgage.
Allen told how this was punishment for sharing what he believed was not “forthright” testimony by FBI Director Christopher Wray about the Bureau’s use of confidential human sources at the Capitol on January 6, 2021. Allen had cited reporting by mainstream media outlets for his criticism of Wray, including RealClearPolitics.
In further support of Allen’s claim, ex-FBI Washington Field Office Assistant Director in Charge Steven D’Antuono testified last year to the full House Judiciary Committee that the FBI had even lost count of the number of confidential informants on the Capitol grounds that day.
The Catholic veteran said the FBI tried to “destroy him financially” so that he “would give up.”
“There are no words strong enough to describe the impact the FBI’s lies about me have had on me and my family,” an emotional Allen said Wednesday. “The stress has taken a toll on our health and our children have suffered, traumatized by the thought of our door getting kicked in or Dad not coming home.”
“Despite the stress and uncertainty, I’ve never once regretted standing up for truth,” the Marine Corps veteran continued. “Indeed, my family and I persevered due to our strength in faith, God’s grace and the sacraments.”
“If you do not worship God, you will worship something else. You can either serve God or you can serve Mammon, but you can’t serve both. This has been a purification when we lost material items we gained more important things. We’ve stored up for ourselves Treasures in Heaven,” Allen said.
“What we have gained spiritually has far outweighed what was lost materially,” said Allen, getting choked up.
He went on to cite James Madison, who “notes the duty to honor God (takes) precedent both in order of time and degree of obligation to the claims of Civil Society. Before any man can be considered as a member of Civil Society, he must be considered as a subject of the governor of the Universe.”
Later, asked to comment further, Allen added, “It is my opinion that the Bureau used fear and reprisal to control the workforce.”
He further advised the people of the U.S., “As an American citizen, you have the duty to vote, and I strongly urge you to do so … stake your claim, and don’t forfeit it willingly.”
“My other recommendations are in the natural order,” he continued. “Arm yourself and know how to defend yourself. Make three to four friends in your neighborhood and promise to come to each other’s mutual aid in times of hardship.”
“During the Great Depression, people stocked up a pantry, so I think that’s a good practice, especially in our economic times, and make sure you have three to four months of food.”
He then advised Americans to “pray the rosary” and “go to the First Friday devotions,” by which Catholics honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
“That’s for everybody, all my brothers and sisters of all faiths,” he added. “And read the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and live it every day.”

The Catholic Trumpet | September 24, 2024
Dear Reader, we are in a moment of profound crisis. The Holy Father, Pope Francis, openly promotes heresy, while the Society of Saint Pius X—once a bastion of tradition—has strayed from the firm path set by our beloved +Archbishop Lefebvre since the 2012 doctrinal declaration. We must hold fast to the truth that the gates of Hell will not prevail against the Church, as our Lord has promised.
He cautioned us, "The scribes and the Pharisees have sat on the chair of Moses. Do and observe whatever they tell you, but do not do as they do." While many question whether a Pope can be a heretic, few ponder: Can the Conciliar popes be schismatic? This question echoes Our Lady of La Salette’s warning of a Church in eclipse. Who will enlighten Pope Francis when those around him are mired in modernism and heresy? We must pray earnestly for his conversion, for prayer is our most formidable weapon against the darkness.
This new SSPX now mirrors the Conciliar Church. Many of their priests subscribe to our letters, yet there is a disheartening silence in returning to the clear principles of +Archbishop Lefebvre. What grace would flow if Bishop Fellay were to denounce the 2012 Agreement and the New Mass, including the so-called “TLM”?
These compromises are not merely signs of fatigue in the fight for souls; they signify a capitulation to the world and a betrayal of our Faith. Let us not grow weary! We must renew our commitment to Our Lady, drawing inspiration from saints and martyrs like the valiant García Moreno†.
García Moreno†, fully aware of the dangers surrounding him, wrote to Pope Pius IX in July 1875: "I have more than ever need of divine assistance... What greater happiness could befall me than to see myself hated and calumniated for love of our Divine Redeemer?"
He was assassinated by [...] Freemasons on August 6, 1875—a martyr for the Faith. Even in his final moments, he proclaimed, "God does not die!" His unwavering faith serves as a clarion call for us today.
What did García Moreno† carry with him on that fateful day? A relic of the True Cross, the Scapular of the Passion, and his Rosary. In The Imitation of Christ, he inscribed his daily resolutions, always seeking humility and striving for the greater glory of God. His commitment serves as a powerful model:
Quote:"Every morning when saying my prayers I will ask specially for humility. Every day I will hear Mass, say the Rosary and will read, besides a chapter of the Imitation, this Rule and the instructions which are added to it. I will endeavor to keep myself as much as possible in the presence of God, especially during conversation that I may not exceed in words. I will often offer my heart to God, principally before beginning any actions. Every hour I will say to myself: ‘I am worse than a demon and hell ought to be my dwelling place.’ In temptations I will add: ‘What should I think of all this in my last agony?’ In my room never to pray sitting when I can do so on my knees or standing. Practice daily little acts of humility, as kissing the ground; to rejoice when I or my actions, are censured. Never to speak of myself except to avow my faults or defects. To make efforts, by thinking of Jesus and Mary, to restrain my impatience and go against my natural inclinations; to be kind to all, even with the importunate, and never to speak ill of my enemies. Every morning, before beginning my work, I will write down what I have to do, being very careful to distribute my time well, to give myself only to useful and necessary business, and to continue it with zeal and perseverance. I will scrupulously observe the law of justice and truth, and have no intentions in all my actions save the greater glory of God… I will go to confession every week… I will never pass more than an hour in any amusement, and in general never before eight o’clock in the evening."
Let us not forget García Moreno’s† historic consecration of Ecuador to the Sacred Heart in 1873, a momentous act for a republic. He understood that true peace comes from placing God and His Catholic Church at the center of our nation.
In this time of crisis, let us draw strength from García Moreno's† example. He stood firm, so we cannot succumb to despair as we witness the errors of the SSPX and the grave failings of our Holy Father. Instead, let us trust in Our Lord and Our Lady, fighting zealously for the restoration of the Faith with the fervor of the saints.
Now, let us rise and take decisive action! Beyond prayer, we must establish a robust Catholic infrastructure that steadfastly upholds our beliefs and nourishes our souls. We are engaged in a spiritual guerrilla warfare against the insidious threats of modernism and compromise. Share our articles and the Recusant articles—make the Catholic resistance's voice heard! Blow the trumpet for those ensnared in the Conciliar pews, fervently calling them back to the unblemished truth of the Faith.
Encourage those who have strayed to return, and write to the SSPX bishops and their priests, urging them to reclaim their commitment to tradition. With Rosaries in hand and hearts devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, let us unite in fierce defense of our Faith. Together, we shall withstand this storm for the glory of God and the triumphant restoration of His Church!
