Poll: 3/4 of unvaxxed Americans would quit job if shot required

Poll: 3/4 of unvaxxed Americans would quit job if shot required
Washington Post survey comes amid growing 'resistance'

WND | September 7, 2021

Nearly three-quarters of unvaccinated Americans would quit their jobs if they were required to take a COVID-19 vaccine, according to a poll by the Washington Post and ABC News.

Only 16% of unvaccinated workers would get a COVID shot if required, 35% would ask for a medical or religious exemption and 42% would quit their job, according to the results reported by the Daily Caller.

But if a medical or religious exemption were not available -- which essentially is the case for Washington state employees, for example -- 72% said they would quit their job.

Just 18%, the poll found, would get the shot.

Meanwhile, a survey of 961 American employers found that 52% will have some sort of vaccine requirement by the end of this year.

In a Fox News poll in August, 44% of Americans said they are more likely to shop at a business that requires employees and customers to be vaccinated or have a recent negative COVID-19 test. Only 24% were less likely.

The Seattle Police Department, which has lost about 300 officers since last year's defund effort, could lose more than 200 more officers over Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan's COVID vaccine mandate for city employees, reported KTTH talk-host Jason Rantz.

State employees, under Democratic Gov. Jay Inslee's mandate, also face the loss of their job if they don't get vaccinated.

Rantz previously reported there is strong resistance to the governor's mandate, including from State Patrol troopers and teachers.

Rantz obtained an internal poll of the State Patrol Troopers Association conducted Aug. 9-17 that found 295 troopers said they would refuse vaccination at the risk of being fired.

In a more general question, 449 troopers said they disagree with mandatory vaccinations. Only 19 said they supported it.

The association said in an email to members: "Important questions need to be addressed, including what the agency will look like with a 20-35 percent loss of employees? How will the agency deploy resources to the areas that are most impacted?"

In Oregon, a group of state troopers and firefighters is suing Democratic Gov. Kate Brown over the vaccine mandate for state employees.

See an Oregon state trooper explain why he won't comply with his governor's vaccine mandate:

In Los Angeles, hundreds of first responders have formed groups to oppose a new city law requiring all public employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19, the Los Angeles Times reported.

A group called Firefighters 4 Freedom said in a statement that its objective "is to stop the mandated vaccinations for all City employees as well as the citizens of this great country. "

"We want to bring education and truth to the people without being censored," the group said.

On its website, the group states it's "not a vaccine versus non-vaccine issue, this is not a left verse right political issue.d"

This is a human rights issue," the group states. "We hope you stand with us, for we believe all members and citizens have the freedom of choice and natural rights. Your body, your choice. My body, my choice."

Doctors are also challenging the mandates, including with lawsuits.

University of California Irvine School of Medicine psychiatrist and medical ethicist Aaron Kheriaty is suing the university system to recognize his natural immunity from COVID-19 recovery, Just the News reported.

He has the help of six UC medical professors who wrote that the UC system's 90-day medical exemption for recovered faculty is "not supported by scientific data and underestimates the durability of natural immunity," which is far better established than for COVID-19 vaccine-induced immunity.

They cited the many studies worldwide that establish "prior infection with SARS-CoV-2 appears to provide greater than 99% efficacy from reinfection" due to "antibodies to the nucleocapsid and to the spike protein, T-helper cells, B-cells, natural killer cells, and innate immunity."

Feast of the Nativity of Our Lady - September 8th

September 8 – The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Taken from The Liturgical Year by Dom Prosper Guéranger  (1841-1875)

[Image: ?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.catholiclane.com%2Fw...f=1&nofb=1]

Let us celebrate the Nativity of the Virgin Mary; let us adore her Son, Christ our Lord. Such is the invitation addressed to us today by the Church. Let us hearken to her call; let us enter into her overflowing joy. The Bridegroom is at hand, for his throne is now set up on earth; yet a little while, and he will appear in the diadem of our human nature, wherewith his Mother is to crown him on the day of the joy of his heart, and of ours. Today, as on the glorious Assumption, the sacred Canticle is heard; but this time it belongs more to earth than to heaven.

Truly a better Paradise than the first is given us at this hour. Eden, fear no more that man will endeavor to enter thee; thy Cherubim may leave the gates and return to heaven. What are thy beautiful fruits to us, since we cannot touch them without dying? Death is now for those who will not eat of the fruit so soon to appear amid the flowers of the virgin earth to which our God has led us.

Hail, new world, far surpassing in magnificence the first creation! Hail blessed haven, where we find a calm after so many storms! Aurora dawns; the rainbow glitters in the heavens; the dove comes forth; the ark rests upon the earth, offering new destinies to the world. The haven, the aurora, the rainbow, the dove, the ark of salvation, the Paradise of the heavenly Adam, the creation whereof the former was but a shadow: all this art thou, sweet infant, in whom already dwell all grace, all truth, all life.

Thou art the little cloud, which the father of prophets in the suppliant anguish of his soul awaited; and thou bringest refreshment to the parched earth. Under the weakness of thy fragile form, appears the Mother of fair love and of holy hope. Thou art that other light cloud of exquisite fragrance, which our desert sends up to heaven. In the incomparable humility of thy soul, which knows not itself, the Angels, standing like armed warriors around thy cradle, recognize their Queen.

O Tower of the true David; citadel withstanding the first shock of Satan’s attack, and breaking all his power; true Sion, founded on the holy mountains, the highest summits of virtue; temple and palace, feebly foreshadowed by those of Solomon; house built by Eternal Wisdom for herself: the faultless lines of thy fair architecture were planned from all eternity. Together with Emmanuel, who predestined thee for his home of delights, thou art thyself, O blessed child, the crowning point of creation, the divine ideal fully realized on earth.

Let us, then, understand the Church when, even on this day, she proclaims thy divine maternity, and unites in her chants of praise the birth of Emmanuel and thine own. He who, being Son of God by essence, willed to be also Son of man, had, before all other designs, decreed that he would have a Mother. Such, consequently, was the primordial, absolute character of that title of mother, that in the eternal decree, it was one with the very being of the chosen creature, the motive and cause of her existence, as well as the source of all her perfections natural and supernatural. We too, then, must recognize thee as Mother, even from thy very cradle, and must celebrate thy birthday by adoring thy Son our Lord.

Inasmuch as it embraces all the brethren of the Man-God, thy blessed maternity sheds its rays upon all time, both before and after this happy day. God is our king before ages: he hath wrought salvation in the midst of the earth. “The midst of the earth,” says the Abbot of Clairvaux, “admirably represents Mary. Mary is the center of the universe, the ark of God, the cause of creation, the business of ages. Towards her turn the inhabitants of heaven and the dwellers in the place of expiation, the men that have gone before us, and we that are now living, those who are to follow us, our children’s children and their descendants. Those in heaven look to her to have their ranks filled up; those in purgatory look for their deliverance; the men of the first ages, that they may be found faithful prophets; those that come after, that they may obtain eternal happiness. Mother of God, Queen of heaven, Sovereign of the world, all generations shall call thee blessed, for thou hast brought forth life and glory for all. In thee the Angels ever find their joy, the just find grace, sinners pardon; in thee, and by thee, and from thee, the merciful hand of the Almighty has reformed the first creation.”

Andrew of Crete calls this day a solemnity of entrance, a feast of beginning, whose end is the union of the Word with our flesh; a virginal feast, full of joy and confidence for all. “All ye nations, come hither,” cries St. John Damascene; “come every race and every tongue, every age and every dignity, let us joyfully celebrate the birthday of the world’s gladness.” “It is the beginning of salvation, the origin of every feast,” says St. Peter Damian, “for behold! the Mother of the Bridegroom is born. With good reason does the whole world rejoice today; and the Church, beside herself, bids her choirs sing wedding songs.”

Not only do the Doctors of the East and West use similar language in praise of Mary’s birth, but moreover the Latin and Greek Churches sing, each in its own tongue, the same beautiful formula to close the office of the feast: “Thy birth, O Virgin Mother of God, brought joy to the whole world: for out of thee arose the Sun of Justice, Christ our God: who, taking off the curse, hath bestowed blessing; and, defeating death, hath given us life everlasting.”

This union of Rome and Byzantium in the celebration of today’s festival, dates back as far as the seventh century at least; beyond that we cannot speak with anything like certitude, nor is it known when the feast was first instituted. It is supposed to have originated at Angers, towards the year 430, by an apparition of our Lady to the holy bishop Maurillus in the fields of Marillais; and hence the name of Notre Dame Angevine often given to the feast. In the eleventh century Chartres, the city of Mary, claims for its own Fulbert, together with Robert the Pious, a principal share in the spreading of the glorious solemnity throughout France. It is well known how intimate the bishop was with the king; and how the latter himself set to music the three admirable Responsories composed by Fulbert, wherein he celebrates the rising of the mysterious star that was to give birth to the Sun; the branch springing from the rod of Jesse, and producing the divine Flower whereon the Holy Spirit was to rest; and the merciful power which caused Mary to blossom in Judæa like the rose on the thorn.

In the year 1245, in the third Session of the first Council of Lyons (the same session which deposed Frederick II from the empire), Innocent IV established for the whole Church not the feast, which was already kept everywhere, but the Octave of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (detailed in Giovan Domenico Mansi’s Sacrorum conciliorum, volume xxiii). It was the accomplishment of a vow made by him and the other Cardinals during the Church’s widowhood, which, throughout the intrigues of the crafty emperor, lasted nineteen months after the death of Celestine IV, and which was brought to a close by the election of Sinibaldo Fieschi under the name of Innocent.

In 1377, the great Pope Gregory XI, who broke the chains of captivity in Avignon, wished to add a Vigil to the solemnity of our Lady’s birthday. But whether he merely expressed a desire to this effect, as did his successor Urban VI with regard to a fast on the eve of the Visitation, or whether for some other reason, the intentions of the holy Pope were carried out for only a very short time during the years of trouble that followed his death.

Together with the Church, let us ask, as the fruit of this sweet feast, for that peace which seems to flee ever farther and farther from our unhappy times. Our Lady was born during the second of the three periods of universal peace wherewith the reign of Augustus was blessed, the last of which ushered in the Prince of peace himself.

The temple of Janus is closed; in the eternal City a mysterious fountain of oil has sprung up from the spot where the first sanctuary of the Mother of God is one day to be built; signs and portents are multiplied; the whole world is in expectation; the poet has sung: “Behold the last age, foretold by the Sybil, is at hand; behold the great series of new worlds is beginning; behold the Virgin!”

In Judæa, the scepter has been taken away from Juda; but the usurper of his power, Herod the Idumæan, is hastening to complete the splendid restoration which will enable the second Temple worthily to receive within its walls the Ark of the New Covenant.

It is the sabbatical month, the first of the civil year, the seventh of the sacred cycle; the month of Tisri which begins the repose of each seventh year, and in which is announced the holy hear of Jubilee; the most joyous of months, with its solemn Neomenia celebrated with trumpets and singing, its feast of Tabernacles, and the commemoration of the completion of Solomon’s Temple.

In the heavens, the sun in his passage through the Zodiac, has just left the sign of Leo to enter that of Virgo. On earth, two obscure descendants of David, Joachim and Anne, are thanking God for having blessed their long-barren union.

The Church intones the beautiful song of Prudentius to the Mother of God; for, like the Most High, she looks upon Mary as already Mother, since such she has been by predestination from all eternity. Our Lady answers the Church’s greeting, by the song of the bride, the psalm of the epithalamium, which no one else could ever sing as she can even from this her first day.

Introit
Salve, sancta parens, enixa puerpera Regem; qui cœlum terramque regit in sæcula sæculorum.
Hail, holy parent, who didst bring forth the King: who rules heaven and earth for ever and ever.

Ps. Eructavit cor meum verbum bonum: dico ego opera mea Regi. Gloria Patri. Salve.
Ps. My heart hath uttered a good word: I speak my works to the King. Glory be to the Father, & Hail.

The liturgy here leaves the historical order of events, to follow that of the annual cycle, which began with the weeks of Advent. Thus, in the Collect we pray that the mystery of today may develop in us the work of sanctification and peace begin at Bethlehem.

Collect
Famulis tuis, quæsumus Domine, cœlestis gratiæ munus impertire: ut, quibus beatæ Virginis partus exstitit salutis exordium, Nativitatis ejus votiva solemnitas pacis tribuat incrementum. Per Dominum.
We beseech thee, O Lord, to bestow on thy servants the gift of heavenly grace; that for thos to whom the blessed Virgin’s maternity was the beginning of salvation, the votive solemnity of her Nativity may procure increase of peace. Through, &c.

In private Masses, after the Collect, Secret, and Postcommunion of the feast, a commemoration is made of St. Adrian.

Prayer
Præsta, quæsumus, omnipotens Deus: ut, qui beati Adriani, martyris tui, natalitia colimus, intercessione ejus in tui nominis amore roboremur. Per Dominum.
Grant, we beseech thee, O almighty God, that we who celebrate the festival of blessed Adrian thy martyr, may by his intercession be strengthened in the love of thy name. Through.

Epistle
Lesson from the Book of Wisdom. Ch. viii.

The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his ways, before he made any thing from the beginning. I was set up from eternity, and of old before the earth was made. The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived. neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out: The mountains with their huge bulk had not as yet been established: before the hills I was brought forth: He had not yet made the earth, nor the rivers, nor the poles of the world. When he prepared the heavens, I was present: when with a certain law and compass he enclosed the depths: When he established the sky above, and poised the fountains of waters: When he compassed the sea with its bounds, and set a law to the waters that they should not pass their limits: when be balanced the foundations of the earth; I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times; Playing in the world: and my delights were to be with the children of men. Now therefore, ye children, hear me: Blessed are they that keep my ways. Hear instruction and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, and that watcheth daily at my gates, and waiteth at the posts of my doors. He that shall find me, shall find life, and shall have salvation from the Lord.

Quote:When princes are born, we prognosticate their future greatness by recalling the glory of their ancestors. The Church does in like manner today. The Gospel will recount the temporal genealogy of Messias, which is also the genealogy of her, who was born for the very purpose of giving birth to Him. But first, this passage from the Book of Proverbs sets before us the divine origin of the Son and of the Mother. It is of both that eternal Wisdom says: “Before the hills I was brought forth: when He prepared the heavens, I was present.”

Our weak human nature, subject to time, can conceive of things only according to the series of their progressive evolutions; but God sees them independently of time, which He rules with His eternity; He sees them in the order of mutual dependence in which He has placed them with a view to the manifestation of His glory. With God, the beginning and the principle of every work is the purpose for which it is done. Now the Most High acts outside Himself solely to reveal Himself, by His Word made Flesh and become the Son of a created Mother as He is the Son of the Creator. The God-Man as end, Mary as the means: such is the object of the eternal decrees, the purpose of the world’s existence, the fundamental conception, with regard to which all else is but accessory and dependent.

O Lady, who dost deign to call us also thy children, it is well for us that thy goodness is equal to thy greatness! Happy is the human race for having waited and watched for thee during so many long ages, and for having found thee at length; for with thee is salvation and life.

In the Gradual the Church again sings of Mary’s virginal and divine maternity; for this is the day which gave us the Mother of God.

Gradual
Benedicta et venerabilis es, Virgo Maria, quæ sine tactu pudoris inventa es mater Salvatoris.
Thou art blessed and venerable, O Virgin Mary, who without any violation of purity, wert found the Mother of our Savior.

℣. Virgo Dei Genitrix, quem totus non capit orbis, sin tua se clausit viscera factus homo.
℣. O Virgin Mother of God, he whom the whole world is unable to contain, being made man, enclosed himself in thy womb.

Alleluia, alleluia.
Alleluia, alleluia.

℣. Felix es, sacra Virgo Maria, et omni laude dignissima: quia ex te ortus est Sol justitiæ, Christus Deus noster. Alleluia.
℣. Thou art happy, O holy Virgin Mary, and most worthy of all praise, because from thee arose the Sun of justice, Christ our God. Alleluia.

Gospel
Sequel of the holy Gospel according to St. Matthew. Ch. i.

T1he book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham begot Isaac. And Isaac begot Jacob. And Jacob begot Judas and his brethren. And Judas begot Phares and Zara of Thamar. And Phares begot Esron. And Esron begot Aram. And Aram begot Aminadab. And Aminadab begot Naasson. And Naasson begot Salmon. And Salmon begot Booz of Rahab. And Booz begot Obed of Ruth. And Obed begot Jesse. And Jesse begot David the king. And David the king begot Solomon, of her that had been the wife of Urias. And Solomon begot Roboam. And Roboam begot Abia. And Abia begot Asa. And Asa begot Josaphat. And Josaphat begot Joram. And Joram begot Ozias. And Ozias begot Joatham. And Joatham begot Achaz. And Achaz begot Ezechias. And Ezechias begot Manasses. And Manasses begot Amon. And Amon begot Josias. And Josias begot Jechonias and his brethren in the transmigration of Babylon. And after the transmigration of Babylon, Jechonias begot Salathiel. And Salathiel begot Zorobabel. And Zorobabel begot Abiud. And Abiud begot Eliacim. And Eliacim begot Azor. And Azor begot Sadoc. And Sadoc begot Achim. And Achim begot Eliud. And Eliud begot Eleazar. And Eleazar begot Mathan. And Mathan begot Jacob. And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.

Quote:Mary of whom was born Jesus: these words contain the whole mystery of our Lady, the title which expresses her whole being according to both nature and grace; for, Jesus, who was to be born of Mary, to be made of a woman, was from the beginning the hidden reason of all creation, to be manifested in the fulness of time. This was God’s great work, of which the prophet said in ecstasy: “O Lord, thy work … in the midst of the years Thou shalt make it known … the holy One shall come from the shady mountain … The hills of the world were bowed down by the journeys of His eternity.” This mountain, from whence the holy One, the Eternal, the Ruler of the world, is to come, is the blessed Virgin Mary, whom the power of the Most High will overshadow, and who, at her very birth, is set far above all the heights of earth and of heaven.

The days, then, are accomplished. Ever since the hour when the eternal Trinity came forth from their repose to create heaven and earth, all the generations of heaven and earth have been in labor to bring forth the day which is to give a Mother to the Son of God. Parallel with the direct line from Abraham and David to the Messias, all human genealogies have been preparing for Mary the generation of adoptive sons whom Jesus is to make His brethren.

With the Church, let us congratulate our Lady on this her sublime maternity, which embraces all creatures together with the Creator.

Offertory
Beata es, Virgo Maria, quæ omnium portasti Creatorem: genuisti qui te fecit, et in æternum permanes virgo.
Thou art blessed, O Virgin Mary, who didst bear the Creator of all things: thou didst bring forth him who made thee, and thou remainest for ever a virgin.

May this maternity, and the virginity which it sealed, draw us ever nearer to the Son of Mary and the Son of God; may they unite us in greater purity to the Sacrifice prepared on the altar.

Grant we beseech thee, O Lord our God, that as in commemorating thy saints, we rejoice in a temporal festival; so we may exult in beholding them for eternity. Through our Lord.

After the Collect of the feast, a commemoration is made of a holy martyr, whom the Church associates in the honors paid to our Lady on the second day of her earthly life. Gorgonius was chamberlain of the emperor Diocletian. The “saints of Cæsar’s household,” whose greetings St. Paul sent to the Philippians, had, ever since then, been increasing in numbers. Eusebius shows that before the last persecution they were in great favor with the emperors; such preference was shown them, that they were exempted from all participation in public rites in order that they might accept the government of the provinces. In the palace, their wives, children, and servants, were allowed full liberty to practice and profess their faith; so much so, that the court of Nicomedia formed as it were a little church around the empress Prisca and her daughter Valeria, who were then Christians, but who, unhappily, did not persevere.

It required all the craft of Galerius to make Diocletian publish the bloody edicts of the year 303 against the religion of such devoted men, whom he loved, says Eusebius, as his own sons. But once the gate of martyrdom was opened, and Cæsar had become Nero once more, the officers of the palace surpassed in glory all the other heroes of Christ illustrious for their courage throughout the empire, and even beyond its limits. Chief among these valiant men, the historian mentions Peter, Drotheus, and Gorgonius. The relics of the last-named were afterwards translated to Rome; it is on this account that he has a place in the Roman calendar, where he has the honor of being in the cortège of the Mother of God.

Commemoration of St. Gorgonius Martyr

Ant. Iste sanctus pro lege Dei sui certavit usque ad mortem, et a verbis impiorum non timuit: fundatus enim erat supra firmam petram.
Ant. This saint fought, even to death, for the law of his God, and feared not the words of the wicked; for his was founded upon a firm rock.

℣. Gloria et honore coronasti eum, Domine.
℣. Thou hast crowned him with glory and honor, O Lord.

℟. Et constituisti eum super opera manuum tuarum.
℟. And hast set him over the works of thy hands.

Prayer
Sanctus tuus, Domine, Gorgonius sua nos intercessione lætificet: et pia faciat solemnitate gaudere. Per Dominum.
May thy holy Gorgonius rejoice us, O Lord, by his intercession, and cause us to be joyful on his pious festival. Through our Lord.

At length, O Mary, our earth possesses thee! Thy birth reveals to it the secret of its destiny, the secret of that love which called it from nothingness, that it might become the palace of the God who dwelt above the heavens. But what a mystery, that poor, weak humanity, inferior to the angels by nature, should be chosen to give to the angels their King and their Queen! Their King they will soon adore, a new-born Babe in thine arms; their Queen they reverence today, admiring thee in thy cradle as only angels can admire. In the beginning these morning stars, these noble spirits, contemplated the manifestations of almighty power, and praised the Most High; yet never did their eager gaze discover such a marvel as that which delights their eyes at this hour: God, more purely imaged under a corporeal veil, under the fragile form of an infant one day old, than in all the strength and all the beauty of their nine angelic choirs; God, so captivated by such weakness united, by His grace, to such love, that He made it the culminating point of His work by determining to manifest His Son therein!

Queen of angels, thou art our Queen also; accept us as thy liegemen. On this day, when the first movement of thy holy soul was towards God, and the first smile of thy lovely eye was for thy happy parents, may holy Anne allow us to kneel and kiss thy little hand, already filled with the divine bounties of which thou art the predestined dispenser. And now, grow up, sweet little one! Let thy feet be strengthened to crush the serpent, and thy arms to carry the treasure of the world! Angels and men, the whole of nature, God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, all are awaiting the solemn moment, when Gabriel may fly down from heaven to hail thee full of grace, and bring thee the message of eternal love.

Australian state leader plans ‘vaccinated economy’ that will ‘lock out’ those who refuse COVID jabs
‘We’re going to move from a system where we’ve got everyone locked down to a situation where, to protect the health system, we’re going to lock out people who are not vaccinated and can be,’ Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews said.

Daniel Andrews

Mon Sep 6, 2021
MELBOURNE, Victoria, Australia (LifeSiteNews) – The leader of the southeastern state of Victoria in Australia warned unvaccinated people that they will be locked out of society under his plans for eventually reopening the economy.

In common with political leaders around the world, Victoria Premier Daniel Andrews insists that receiving one of the experimental jabs is essential for “safety,” ignoring the fact that thousands of people worldwide have died or suffered other serious side effects after receiving one of the shots.

Andrews told a press conference last week that Victoria, with Melbourne as its capital, will move from a state of lockdown to “lockouts” for those who refuse to get jabbed.

“We’re going to move from a system where we’ve got everyone locked down to a situation where, to protect the health system, we’re going to lock out people who are not vaccinated and can be,” he said.

“ … [A]s this becomes absolutely a pandemic of the unvaccinated, and we open everything up, it’s not going to be safe for people who are not vaccinated to be roaming around the place spreading the virus.

“That’s what they’ll be doing,” Andrews claimed.

Coronavirus vaccine trials have never produced evidence that the vaccines stop infection or transmission. They do not even claim to reduce hospitalization, but the measurement of success is in preventing severe symptoms of COVID-19 disease.

As COVID cases have surged in heavily vaccinated countries like Israel, the U.K. and the United States, including among vaccinated individuals, hopes that vaccination would prevent infection or halt transmission have dwindled.

On April 30, in the wake of more than 10,000 reports of positive COVID cases among the fully vaccinated in the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) announced it would cease counting “breakthrough cases” unless the person is hospitalized or dies, leaving uncounted tens of thousands of vaccinated individuals transmitting virus as though they were not infected.

By August, the failure of vaccines to prevent spread of the virus that causes COVID-19 was clear when CDC director Rochelle Walensky reversed the agency’s mask guidance and told vaccinated individuals to keep wearing face coverings.

“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well. They continue to work well with Delta with regard to severe illness and death,” Walensky told CNN. “But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”

Nevertheless, Andrews made clear that there would be a “vaccinated economy” in Victoria, and that only the vaccinated would “get to participate in that.”

“But yes, there’s going to be a vaccinated economy and you get to participate in that if you are vaccinated,” he said.

“ … [W]e’re going to get to a point where everybody who can get vaccinated will have been offered the chance to do so, and we are not going to have a situation, well at least not in Victoria, where we lock the whole place down to protect people who won’t protect themselves.”

Andrews indicated to reporters that, at a minimum, unvaccinated people will not be allowed to enter pubs or cinemas in Victoria.

“The greatest incentive is freedom,” he explained.

Victoria’s neighboring state of South Australia recently made headlines after The Atlantic magazine revealed authorities there are testing a new app that would force those quarantining to share on-demand photos and geolocation confirmation with the government.

Australia’s Covid-19 restrictions have been among the most draconian of anywhere in the world to date, with curfews, lockdowns, interstate travel bans, mandatory hotel quarantines and outdoor masking requirements all imposed in various parts of the country.

Skepticism about the experimental jabs has remained high in Australia despite the numerous threats to personal liberties being levelled against citizens by senior politicians.

The push to vaccinate the majority of the world’s population in order to prevent serious disease for those who are not at risk to begin with – the CDC reports an infection survival rate of greater than 99.95% for those under age 50 — adds to the skepticism surrounding the experimental jabs. Meanwhile, the list of FDA-recognized adverse events have grown from severe anaphylactic reactions to include fatal thrombotic events, the inflammatory heart condition myocarditis, and neurologically disabling disease like Guillain Barré Syndrome, as well as thousands of recorded deaths and permanent disabilities.

As of September 5, only 31 percent of Australians were recorded as “fully vaccinated” against COVID-19, with just over 50 percent having received a first dose of one of the experimental jabs.

Fauci announces imminent approval for boosters, hints that they may be required for ‘full vaccination’
The White House's chief medical adviser expects the shots to be available by the president's September 20 deadline.

Mon Sep 6, 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews) – Dr. Anthony Fauci, Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, has said that booster shots for COVID will likely be available by the president’s September 20 deadline, following comments that three doses might become “the adequate full regimen for vaccination.”

After the president’s August 15 announcement that COVID booster shots will be available “for every adult” beginning September 20, Fauci stated in an August 5 interview on CBS’ Face the Nation that the Pfizer/BioNTech-developed mRNA jab “likely would meet the deadline” for approval as a booster.

“Looks like Pfizer has their data in,” Fauci said, explaining that the drug companies must submit test data on the safety of releasing booster shots to the public for the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to examine. The FDA then determines “whether from a regulatory standpoint, it’s OK to go ahead,” Fauci said.

For Pfizer’s experimental COVID jab, which recently received the FDA’s “full approval” for use among the public, Fauci said, “I think it’s going to be at the most a couple of weeks” before boosters are approved and rolled out. Regarding Moderna, however, which also manufactures an mRNA COVID jab, although operating exclusively under emergency use authorization (EUA), it may take more time to receive “the appropriate FDA regulatory approval.”

“We were hoping that we would get … both products, Moderna and Pfizer, rolled out by the week of the 20th. It is conceivable that we will only have one of them out but the other would likely follow soon thereafter,” Fauci added.

While unlikely that both Pfizer and Moderna will be able to roll out booster shots at the same time, Fauci explained that, in any case, “we’ll do it sequentially.”

“So the bottom line is very likely, at least part of the plan will be implemented, but ultimately the entire plan will be.”

Despite rushing to administer the hastily developed jabs to the public last year, rolling the shots out under the EUA protocol, Fauci claimed that delaying the release of a Moderna booster shot is a safety precaution that must be taken because “when you’re dealing with allowing the American public to receive [a medical] intervention, you want to make sure you are absolutely certain [of its safety].”

But mounting data on adverse events arising from the jabs has revealed many dangers to be associated with taking the experimental shots.

The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), jointly run by the FDA and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has recorded some 650,077 adverse events after the COVID shots between December 14, 2020, and August 27, 2021.

Of the overall count associated with the experimental COVID shots, 337,049 adverse events are correlated with Pfizer’s mRNA jab, accounting for a little more than 50 percent of all reports. Regarding reports of deaths, Pfizer is correlated with almost 70 percent of all deaths recorded after a COVID “vaccine,” registering a total of 9,622.

Fauci stated during the CBS interview that studies are currently underway looking into the possibility of “mix and match” booster shots. The White House medical adviser suggested that it might be possible in the future to “switch one with the other,” but that his hope is that “if you got Pfizer, you will then boost with Pfizer. If you get Moderna, you’ll be boosting with Moderna.”

Fauci had previously downplayed the necessity of booster shots, stating in an interview with CNN that those who have received both doses of an mRNA COVID jab, or the single-dose Johnson & Johnson shot, “do not need to get a boost right now … nothing has changed with regard to the CDC’s recommendations.”

“The message is very clear,” Fauci continued, “[t]he CDC and FDA say if you’ve been fully vaccinated, at this point in time you do not need a booster shot.”

On September 3, however, as part of a White House briefing, Fauci told reporters that if boosters do receive regulatory approval, then it is “likely” that a third dose of the shots will become a requirement for Americans to be considered “fully vaccinated.”

“From my own experience as an immunologist, I would not at all be surprised if the adequate, full regimen for vaccination will likely be three doses,” Fauci stated, before noting that following waning immunity, Israel’s booster rollout has resulted in a “dramatic” increase in protection against the virus.

Fauci added that if the booster is found to produce durable results, “then you’re going to have very likely a three-dose regimen being the routine regimen.”

However, interviewing on Newsmax’s Spicer & Co., Dr. Peter McCullough, M.D., renowned epidemiologist and chief medical adviser to the Truth for Health Foundation, said Israel’s data already shows breakthrough infections in those who have received booster shots, within the first few weeks of them being administered.

In general, McCullough underlined Israeli data on the Pfizer shot “estimating about 39 percent protection,” which Fauci claimed “supported the rationale for COVID-19 booster shots.”

McCullough, on the other hand, explained that Israel is observing infection breakthroughs in individuals who have taken the booster shot “because the Pfizer vaccine doesn’t cover the Delta variant.” The doctor noted that there has been “antigenic escape” with Pfizer’s jab, later adding that CDC director Rochelle Walensky has said those jabbed with “the Pfizer vaccine, and certainly those vaccinated in general, can carry the Delta variant and pass it to others.”

Meanwhile, the World Health Organization (WHO) has taken a more cautious approach to the implementation of COVID booster shots, arguing that “the data around the need for boosters is not conclusive.”

“We also don’t know about the safety of boosters,” WHO chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan said. “These need to be studied as well, so before we launch into full-scale booster programs for the whole population there are a number of questions that need to be answered.”

Owing to safety concerns, WHO Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus called for “a moratorium on boosters until at least the end of September.”

The European Commission (EC), the executive body of the European Union (EU), echoed the WHO’s recommendation, warning against hastily administering booster shots across the EU’s 27 member states, over half of which – including France, Germany, Austria, and Hungary – have already indicated a desire to begin offering third doses.

According to a report by Reuters, the EC confirmed that “[b]ooster doses are currently not part of the marketing authorization of COVID-19 vaccines and have not yet been subject to a scientific assessment by EMA [European Medicines Agency] in the absence of sufficient data.”

Therefore, the EC emphasized that “the responsibility to decide to include boosters in their vaccination campaign remains with the Member States,” adding that “[a]s long as the booster doses are not part of the marketing authorization, companies’ liability is modified,” removing manufacturer responsibility for any adverse effects.

In the United States, two senior FDA officials just announced that they are resigning amid disagreements with the White House over the rushed booster shot effort.

Nursing baby died with blood clots, inflamed arteries following mother’s Pfizer shot, VAERS report says
The case is the second known account of a breastfeeding baby dying.

Mon Sep 6, 2021 - 9:46 am EDT
(LifeSiteNews) – A six-week-old breastfeeding baby became inexplicably ill with a high fever after his mother received a COVID-19 vaccine and he died weeks later with blood clots in his “severely inflamed arteries,” according to a vaccine adverse event report filed with the U.S. government.

An unidentified 36-year-old woman from New Mexico said she received a first dose of Pfizer’s Covid-19 jab on June 4, 2021 when she was breastfeeding her six-week-old infant son, according to a report filed with the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS).

“On July 17, my baby passed away,” says the report, which first appeared on VAERS August 13, 2021.

Blood clots, inflamed arteries

The baby boy became “very sick with a high fever” on June 21 when he was treated with intravenous antibiotics for two weeks in hospital for what was assumed to be a bacterial infection.

The VAERS report says that hospital tests “never found any specific bacteria,” and called his diagnosis “culture-negative sepsis.” It states that at the end of his two-week hospital stay he tested positive for rhinovirus and was sent home.

At home, the baby developed further symptoms over the following week, including a swollen eyelid, “strange rashes” and vomiting. His mother returned him to the hospital July 15 when he was diagnosed with “atypical Kawasaki disease”

The Mayo Clinic describes Kawasaki disease as a condition primarily affecting children which causes swelling (inflammation) in the walls of medium-sized arteries throughout the body. Coronary arteries, which supply blood to the heart muscle tend to be most affected, but the disease can also affect lymph nodes that swell during an infection as well as the membranes inside the mouth, nose and throat.

Most cases of Kawasaki disease are “usually treatable and most children recover from Kawasaki disease without serious problems,” according to the Mayo Clinic website.

After the baby was returned to hospital on July 15, he “passed away shortly thereafter from clots in his severely inflamed arteries,” states the VAERS report which inaccurately lists the mother’s age, 36 years, for the age of the deceased.

Few other details about the case are provided. His mother reports that he had been born three weeks early when she developed appendicitis.

In the report to the vaccine adverse event system, she questioned the role of the vaccine in her baby’s death. “I am curious if the spike protein could have gone through the breast milk and caused an inflammatory response in my child. They say Kawasaki disease presents very similarly to the Multi-System Inflammatory Syndrome in children that they are seeing in post Covid infections,” she said.

“However, if they know that antibodies go through the breastmilk as a good thing, then why wouldn’t the spike protein also go through the breastmilk and potentially cause problems.”

Spike protein in breastmilk?

In May, Canadian vaccine researcher and viral immunologist Byram Bridle, of the University of Guelph, Ontario, warned listeners of a podcast that nursing babies whose mothers had been vaccinated were at risk of getting COVID spike proteins from her breast milk.

Bridle cited a Pfizer “biodistribution study” of the lipid nanoparticle carrier in its vaccine which showed that the ingredients did not stay near the injection site in the arm muscle as intended, but unexpectedly dispersed to organs throughout the body.

If in a real-life scenario, these lipoproteins would release mRNA which would cause cells wherever they were taken up to produce spike proteins. Spike proteins themselves have been identified as the pathogenic agents of disease in COVID-19.

Bridle also cited a recent study which detected SARS-CoV-2 protein in the blood plasma of 11 of 13 young healthcare workers that had received Moderna’s COVID-19 vaccine, including three with detectable levels of spike protein. A “subunit” protein called S1, part of the spike protein, was also detected.

Bridle said that “any proteins in the blood will get concentrated in breast milk,” and “we have found evidence of suckling infants experiencing bleeding disorders in the gastrointestinal tract” in VAERS.

One VAERS report describes a five-month-old breastfed infant whose mother received a second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine in March. The following day, the baby developed a rash and became “inconsolable,” refused to nurse, and developed a fever. The report says the baby was hospitalized with a diagnosis of Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura, a rare blood disorder in which blood clots form in small blood vessels throughout the body. The baby died.

Seizures, rashes, fevers

Another VAERS report describes a 25-year-old woman who received a first dose of Pfizer’s vaccine on May 2, 2021. The following day, both the woman, who was hospitalized for five days, and her six-week-old breastfeeding baby, were diagnosed with viral meningitis.

A report to VAERS from Pennsylvania describes a three-month-old infant who suddenly developed seizures seven hours after nursing from its vaccinated mother.

Some reports describe babies developing diarrhea or vomiting after nursing from their vaccinated mothers. Some describe babies becoming feverish; one North Carolina mother was so alarmed by her nursing 17 month-old’s four-day fever after she received her shot, that she took the baby for a COVID test (which was negative.)

One VAERS report describes a nursing baby in Tennessee who developed alopecia areata – an autoimmune condition that causes hair to fall out – eight days after her mother was vaccinated. “No other causes have been identified,” the report states.

Another report describes a 17-month-old baby girl who developed hives following each occasion that her mother was vaccinated on April 14 and on May 5, 2021. The baby was taken to an emergency room on April 23 and given medications which she took daily to prevent hives. About five days before her mother received the second dose of Pfizer’s shot, the baby’s hives subsided. Then, they reappeared the following morning after the mother took the second dose. The baby saw a dermatologist for hives that were from “her face to just past her knees” and were worst under her arms, on her chest and back.

A number of reports describe mothers’ milk drying up suddenly after vaccination. One VAERS report describes a woman who developed an itchy face and throat and sore joints after her injection and pumped her milk to discard it and noticed it had an unusual blueish hue.

When contacted, a CDC media representative asked LifeSiteNews to e-mail questions about any investigation into the deceased baby and other reports of breastfeeding adverse events following COVID vaccination. The agency did not respond to the email before publication.

Fauci tells mothers it’s a ‘good idea’ to continue breastfeeding after a COVID jab

White House medical adviser and COVID public health chief, Anthony Fauci has advised pregnant and breastfeeding women to take experimental COVID-19 shots. In an interview with whattoexpect.com – a pregnancy advice website – published on August 30, Fauci was asked if women should continue breastfeeding after getting a COVID shot.  “[I]t is not only safe, but it’s a good idea…you should know that you’re doing something positive to protect the baby” Fauci replied.

A study published in April in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology reported that vaccinated mothers’ breast milk contains manufactured antibodies to the spike protein of SARS-COV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19, which some believe may protect the nursing baby from the virus.

There are no long-term studies of any COVID vaccine in nursing infants.

Fatality among newborns from COVID is vanishingly rare. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that the current best estimate of the infection fatality rate for all children under 18 years of age is 0.00002 or 0.002%. It is far more likely for children to die of influenza than COVID-19.

Nursing infants increasing exposed to COVID jabs via their mother

It is now increasingly common for nursing babies to be exposed to experimental COVID-19 shots via their mothers. The UK Yellow Card vaccine adverse event reporting system has recorded nearly 3,000 “exposure during breastfeeding” and 120 reports of “exposure via breastmilk” events. No details of why these exposures were reported are provided in the government reports.

U.S. VAERS reports do not establish a causal relationship between the vaccine and the event described and can be filed by any doctor, pharmacist, healthcare worker, or citizen who has experienced or witnessed an adverse event. It is illegal to fabricate a VAERS report.

A 2009 Harvard-Pilgrim Healthcare  study found that the VAERS’ passive reporting system captured only one percent of the true adverse events that should have been reported to the system.

Vigil of the Nativity of Our Lady
Taken from here.

[Image: xTheNativity.jpg.pagespeed.ic.GQbhjUacBB.jpg]

September 7: Vigil of the Nativity of Our Lady, instituted by Pope Gregory II (722)

The day destined for the parturition of Saint Anne and for the birth of Her, who was consecrated and sanctified to be the Mother of God, had arrived: a day most fortunate for the world. This birth happened on the eighth day of September, fully nine months having elapsed since the Conception of the soul of our most holy Queen and Lady.

Saint Anne was prepared by an interior voice of the Lord, informing Her, that the hour of her parturition had come. Full of the joy of the Holy Spirit at this information, she prostrated herself before the Lord and besought the assistance of his grace and his protection for a happy deliverance.

Presently she felt a movement in her womb similar to that which is proper to creatures being born to the light. The most blessed child Mary was at the same time by divine providence and power ravished into a most high ecstasy. Hence Mary was born into the world without perceiving it by her senses, for their operations and faculties were held in suspense. As She had the use of her reason, She would have perceived it by her senses, if they would have been left to operate in their natural manner at that time. However, the Almighty disposed otherwise, in order that the Princess of heaven might be spared the sensible experience otherwise connected with birth.

Vigil of the Nativity

She was born pure and stainless, beautiful and full of grace, thereby demonstrating, that She was free from the law and the tribute of sin. Although She was born substantially like other daughters of Adam, yet her birth was accompanied by such circumstances and conditions of grace, that it was the most wonderful and miraculous birth in all creation and will eternally redound to the praise of her Maker.

At twelve o-clock in the night this divine Luminary issued forth, dividing the night of the ancient Law and its pristine darknesses from the new day of grace, which now was about to break into dawn. She was clothed, handled and dressed like other infants, through She excelled all mortals and even all the angels in wisdom. Her mother did not allow Her to be touched by other hands than her own, but she herself wrapped Her in swaddling clothes: and in this Saint Anne was not hindered by her present state of childbirth; for she was free from the toils and labors, which other mothers usually endure in such circumstances.

So then Saint Anne received in her arms Her, who was her Daughter, but at the same time the most exquisite Treasure of all the universe, inferior only to God and superior to all other creatures.

The leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, Erin O’Toole, promised a federal proof-of-vaccine system if his party gets elected, which means that those who support civil liberties are going to be left with few options as all major parties support the invasive practices.

Prime Minister Trudeau made a similar pledge and NDP’s criticized the current PM for not having already implemented a federal vaccine passport system.

In a stop on his campaign trail in Coquitlam, British Columbia, O’Toole revealed his party’s pandemic-related plans, including a national proof-of-vaccine system, arguing that Canadians would need it for travel.

Trudeau, in his reelection campaign a few weeks ago, promised a $1 billion COVID-19 proof-of-vaccination fund to assist provinces in developing and implementing their own systems. The Liberal PM said the fund would help provinces that wanted to implement a vaccine certification system but were wary because of the costs involved.

While announcing the fund, Trudeau took a shot at Conservatives for opposing vaccine passport systems, which he believes will help restore the country to normalcy.

Trudeau said the fund would help province governments that may want to implement vaccine passport programs but did not have the resources.

The PM took the chance to hit back at his opponents, the conservatives, for opposing vaccine passports.

“We know that the way to get through this pandemic is to get people vaccinated. And provinces that choose not to move forward on some sort of vaccination mandate are going to face weaker growth, more economic challenges in their recovery, and fewer jobs created because they’re not doing everything they can to keep people safe,” he said.

“We’re not going to tell provinces what it is exactly that is right for them. But we will be there to support them if they move forward with strong, clear mandates that say that people need to be vaccinated to do certain non-essential things.”

New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Jagmeet Singh also called for the creation of a national system, and blasted Trudeau for not having already implemented one.
