The Great Silence Before the Woman Clothed with the Sun

October 13, 2025—one hundred and eight years to the day since the sun spun and plunged toward the earth before seventy thousand terrified witnesses at Fatima and Leo XIV did not utter a single word about it. Not one.

Standing before the very statue that traveled from Portugal for the occasion, Leo offered up a pageant of soft platitudes about tenderness, listening, fraternity, and “God’s way of being a mother.” The miracle of the sun? Never mentioned. The warnings of Our Lady about souls falling into hell “like leaves in autumn”? Omitted. The command from Heaven to consecrate Russia, still unfulfilled after nearly a century? Ignored.

It was a spectacle of studied irrelevance. While the Mother of God asked for penance, he offered pablum. While she warned that nations would be annihilated if her requests were ignored, he urged dialogue and “unarmed peace.”

Even the date itself, October 13, should have rung like a church bell through the Vatican. Instead, the anniversary of Heaven’s most apocalyptic apparition passed in silence from the man who claims to be its chief interpreter.


The Fatima Statue as Prop—Not the Message

On Saturday, October 11, Leo presided over a Marian vigil and rosary before the original Fatima statue. His address was astonishing in what it lacked. Not once did he speak Our Lady’s name in the context of Fatima’s warnings or promises. Instead, he recast her as a symbol of “dialogue” and “tenderness,” quoting Cana’s “Do whatever He tells you” while avoiding the words actually spoken at Fatima: “Penance, penance, penance.”

He told the powerful of the world to “lay down their swords” but said nothing of the spiritual war against sin, heresy, and apostasy: the war that Our Lady herself identified as the true cause of human misery.

The night’s rosary was presented as a performance of peace activism, not reparation. The Eucharistic adoration became a platform for human fraternity rather than divine worship. And the Fatima statue, the very image that once drew millions to repentance, stood mute witness to its own reinterpretation, reduced to a theatrical prop for a Church that has forgotten why she came.


The Missing Consecration: Heaven’s Command Defied

Our Lady was precise. She asked for the consecration of Russia, not “the world,” not “humanity,” not “everyone including Russia and Ukraine,” to her Immaculate Heart. It was to be done publicly, solemnly, in union with all the bishops of the world, and in reparation for sin.

Not once since 1929 has this been accomplished. Every attempt has fallen short: whether through omission, dilution, or disobedience.

Pius XII mentioned Russia but acted alone.

John Paul II consecrated “the world.”

Francis in 2022 added Russia to Ukraine but consecrated “humanity” as a whole and without the bishops’ mandated participation.

Now Leo XIV inherits the same stage and refuses even to mention the word Russia. The very act Heaven commanded for peace remains undone, while popes line up to perform its counterfeit versions before crowds that no longer remember the real request.

If the condition for peace was obedience to Heaven’s precise command, what peace can follow disobedience dressed up as devotion?


The Secret Still Hidden

“As for the Secret, well I happen to be one of those individuals who thinks we didn’t get the whole thing. I told ya! I mean, you have the right to your own opinion, don’t you, Father? There, you know, that’s my opinion. Because I think it’s scary…”

The Third Secret, still suppressed, still incomplete, foretold not world politics but a spiritual catastrophe: “The great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top.” That sentence, confirmed by multiple witnesses who saw the unreleased portion, perfectly describes the post-conciliar Church’s descent.

The Vatican’s 2000 publication omitted Our Lady’s own words and replaced them with a vision of martyrdom stripped of context. The “Bishop in White” climbing a ruined city fits the crisis, but the missing words, those Our Lady spoke, are what interpret it. They remain buried.

Archbishop Viganò said in 2020 what faithful Catholics already knew: the full text has never been revealed. The secret remains hidden because it exposes the very corruption that now passes for holiness.

And so Leo XIV’s carefully worded homily, its effeminate mysticism, its rejection of militancy, its sentimentalism masquerading as mercy, only proves the prophecy true. The apostasy Our Lady warned of has become the Church’s governing program.


The False Peace of the Conciliar Church

Leo prayed for “peace,” but how can he pray for what he refuses to obtain in the manner Heaven prescribed? His is the peace of ceasefires and committees, not the peace that comes from repentance and reparation. The true peace Our Lady promised will come only after the consecration of Russia and the conversion of that nation to the Catholic Faith. Until then, wars, persecutions, and the loss of countless souls will continue.

Our Lady did not appear to teach “fraternity.” She came to warn of Hell. She showed the children souls falling into it, screaming. She asked for penance, sacrifice, and devotion to her Immaculate Heart. She did not ask for sentimental reinterpretations by modernist clerics trying to neutralize her message.

On October 13, 1917, the sun whirled above Fatima to confirm Heaven’s warning. On October 13, 2025, the Vatican spun the message instead.


In the End, Her Immaculate Heart Will Triumph

Our Lady promised that in the end, her Immaculate Heart would triumph. The question is not whether; it is how long the hierarchy will delay the triumph by refusing to obey her simple request.

Heaven does not need the permission of the Vatican’s public relations department. When the popes of the modern era substitute “synodality” for obedience, Our Lady finds other instruments, souls who believe what she actually said.

The Miracle of the Sun was Heaven’s warning shot to a world asleep in sin. One hundred and eight years later, the miracle has been buried under the rubble of a synodal church that calls disobedience renewal. But the triumph will come, and those who mocked, ignored, or falsified her message will have no defense before the Woman clothed with the Sun.
