Los Angeles: Pagan Fire Ritual at Eucharist [Novus Ordo Mass]
gloria.tv | December 20, 2024
A Eucharist at St. Denis Parish near Los Angeles, California, on December 12, the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, included a pagan ritual.
After the offertory, a half-naked man draped in feathers performed a fire ceremony in front of the altar. This included the ritual of extinguishing the flame and indigenous dances.
The dance around the flame has its roots in animistic paganism. The dancer purifies himself by bathing in the flame and connecting with the “energy” of the flame.
The indigenous man explained the pagan ceremony and received applause from the congregation.
During the Eucharist, Communion was distributed from large bowls. The remaining hosts were collected by a woman in blue jeans and poured into a single bowl.
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Abp. Lefebvre
