Bp. Williamson promoting new Novus Ordo "messages" in TX
#1
In the Eleison Comments published today [April 20, 2024] entitled Remarkable Messages I, Bp. Williamson continues to elicit astonishment and confusion.

Here we go again.

After promoting Garabandal (to this day never approved by even the Conciliar Church) and insisting on the belief in various Conciliar Eucharistic 'miracles' we are [shouldn't be?] surprised to find His Excellency promoting another Novus Ordo group, the Mission of Divine Mercy, whose self-proclaimed charism "is the role of prophecy."

And there is no mistaking this group as traditional. On their FAQ page, they answer the question: "DO YOU OFFER THE TRADITIONAL LATIN MASS? No.  We offer the Novus Ordo  Mass.

Another sign of their firm Novus Ordo adherence is in their description of the Cross on their emblem which they describe as "The Cross of Light:  This signifies the Light of the New Evangelization."

So here we have a group of Novus Ordo religious and laity, named after a condemned devotion (Divine Mercy via Sr. Faustina), functioning as a solely Novus Ordo group - not even a whisper of an indult-esque or traditional orientation, with a self-proclaimed 'charism' of faith via prophecy.

And 'messages' from this group, dear friends, is who a 'traditional' bishop is promoting. Something isn't right here...

And even when reading the 'messages' one is reminded of the usual Novus Ordo style of language.

But without further ado, Bp. Williamson's Remarkable Messages I:

Quote:ELEISON  COMMENTS  DCCCLXXV  (April 20, 2024) : REMARKABLE  MESSAGES  –  I

When it comes to apparitions and messages supposedly coming from Heaven, to be prudent is certainly wise, because God knows, the Devil has so infiltrated the minds of churchmen with the betrayal of the true Catholic Faith by the devilries of Vatican II that these churchmen can hardly any longer be relied on to make a proper Catholic discernment for us between what is and what is not truly from Heaven, as St Paul calls upon us to do in Scripture – I Thess.V, 19-21. But one can be excessively prudent, especially when the normal Church Authority is itself in confusion. One thing is certain: just as there would be no counterfeit bank-notes if there were no genuine notes in circulation, so there would be no counterfeit Messages from Heaven if there were no genuine ones to imitate.  It is up to ourselves to do our best to discern. Let us give to a series of recent Messages coming from backwoods Texas, USA, a hearing.

The series began with an introductory Message supposedly from Our Lady – let the “supposedly” be taken for granted and not repeated in everything quoted henceforth in these “Eleison Comments” from these Messages. The “Comments” have no authority to guarantee the Texas Messages’ authenticity, but they do take them seriously enough to consider them well worth quoting. Let readers judge on their own. Here for instance are a few extracts from the first Message (last time – supposedly) of Our Lady –

February 8 : Children, the battle looms and you are asleep. I come to awake you; as a good mother who, being vigilant and keeping watch over her children, and seeing the increasing danger, shakes her children so that they may not perish without fighting. Children, these are the times announced from of old, in which the thrice accursed serpent will poison many, and interfere in what is Ours, and will rise to confuse the nations with his puppets, his servants, to destroy all that is of God, and to rule in His place. The Devil’s longing to be adored and his hatred of God have driven him to prepare, over centuries, what is now being unveiled before your eyes…

I have come to you, children, time and time again, year after year, to warn you… but how few of you have understood me, and placed yourselves at my disposal for Me to form My army of light… Children, there is no time left. The battle, Our counter-attack, begins with these Words, which We give to you as Light, Protection, Guidance and Consolation. Do not ignore them… they will give you the guidance that you need, now that My Church is without a shepherd to tend to My sheep, to My children… They want to destroy you, children… receive my Words of love and consolation.

You are wounded, my little children, some more, some less, but all of you carry wounds – from your own decisions, from the hatred of Satan – and all of you need Our healing, all of you need Our help. My children, I give my Jesus to you again, I give Him to you with all my personal Love… as your King… your Saviour and Redeemer… only Him, children. Only He saves. Only He purifies. Only He heals… Do not be confused. Many voices try, and will try, to pass as His. Many say, and will say that they do everything in His name. But look at their works. Look at the fruits, children. DO NOT IGNORE THEM.

And I, your Mother, will prepare you to receive the supreme Gift of luminous Faith in the centre of your soul to be able to face the present and coming times, in which everything that seemed to be stable will crumble down… Blessed is he who receives these Words and allows them to bear their fruit…

The complete text is rather longer, and the selected extracts quoted above do not convey Our Lady’s sense of urgency, as though we are on the very brink of the great battle due to break out. The little Catholic centre in Texas receiving these Messages has its own website – look up “Mission of Divine Mercy”.

Truly,    Kyrie eleison.

The horror coming threatens massive pain,

And that is why She warns, again and again.
"So let us be confident, let us not be unprepared, let us not be outflanked, let us be wise, vigilant, fighting against those who are trying to tear the faith out of our souls and morality out of our hearts, so that we may remain Catholics, remain united to the Blessed Virgin Mary, remain united to the Roman Catholic Church, remain faithful children of the Church."- Abp. Meet the nun who allegedly received the messages from heaven
The nun said the Lord has given 'a number of indications that… some kind of manifestation' will take place at the Texas mission and 'pour out so much grace on people’s lives.'

(LifeSiteNews) — In a recent video interview republished by LifeSiteNews, a member of the Texas-based Mission of Divine Mercy described receiving messages from all three Persons of the Blessed Trinity and from the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Sister Amapola, who was born in Mexico in 1977, told Anna Jebbia, the director of communications for the mission, that she received her first message during Mass on December 12, 2016 — the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe — when she was feeling sad and spiritually dry.

“And during Holy Communion, all of a sudden, completely out of the blue, I just inside sensed (Our Lady’s) voice saying, you know, like something like, ‘We’ll talk a little later,’” Sister Amapola related.

“You just, very, as if that were the most normal thing, as if she had just finished saying something else (…),” the nun continued.  “And it was so clearly her that I just said, ‘All right.’”

According to Sister Amapola, after Mass, Our Lady directed her to find a piece of paper and a pen because she wanted the nun to write some things down. Sister Amapola said that she obeyed and then Our Lady began say “a few things” especially concerning a recent prayer intention.

“But it felt as if she were just sitting there. I didn’t see anything, but her presence was so manifest, I guess, in some way that she was almost (…) there,” the nun related. “It was a very warm, comforting, like mother-daughter (interaction). Very, very nice.”

The encounter ended when, Sister Amapola said, she was becoming distracted with hunger and Our Lady told her she had to eat.

She reported the experience, known as an interior locution, to her superior, Father John Mary Foster, who thought it was authentic.

At first, Sister Amapola believed that this was a unique event, a grace granted because of her prayer intention, but a few weeks later, on New Year’s Eve, she said she received another message from Our Lady. After that, she experienced at least one interior locution a day for several months and stated that she still experiences them, although not as often as she did. Sister Amapola said that she carries a notebook with her because she never knows when she will next get a message. It once happened in a dentist’s office. Sometimes she is awakened from her sleep.

Asked in what language the Lord speaks to her, the nun replied that He talks to her in Spanish and English, although mostly Spanish if she isn’t asked to write anything down. She said that His messages often are about His relationship with us: “that He sees us with so much love and so much tenderness and consideration.”

“There’s absolutely nothing sappy about His love,” Sister Amapola assured her interviewer. “The way it’s communicated, there’s (…) always a strength behind it.”

“It’s very hard to explain, but how much He loves us, how much He understands us and considers us. The mercy – that’s just incredible,” she added.

“How much He understands our pain (and) suffering, and how much He wants to alleviate that and make it useful. (…) There’s a constant invitation to offer it to Me, give it to Me, let Me make it fruitful, you know, don’t let it go to waste, give it to Me, give it to Me.”

The only way to deal with all the pain, suffering, sorrow, anguish, fear, and anxiety in the world is to give it to God, the nun said.

She mentioned also that the Lord often says “Look at Me.”

“Don’t look at anybody (else); look at Me,” the nun repeated. “Lift up your eyes, look at Me. (It’s) because there’s so many scary things out there that we have to look at Him.”

The messages have been about relatively ordinary matters, like the best place to build a new chapel, and about important future events, including a great battle against the forces of Satan.

“He’s always talking about participating in His plan, in His plan of reconquering all the hearts of His children, you know, that have been under the dominion of the enemy for years,” Sister Amapola said. “And reconquering the Church and restoring the Church and restoring all of creation to what He originally intended.”

“He has a plan for that and we’re part of that plan.”

The nun said the Lord has given “a number of indications that … some kind of manifestation” will take place at the Texas mission and “pour out so much grace on people’s lives.”

Meanwhile, she believes that God has been preparing little groups of faithful all around the world that He now wants to join together against Satan.

“The army of the enemy has grown so exponentially and has taken over so much that now the Lord has to unite all of those smaller armies all around the world, you know, all those places of grace into, into one,” Sister Amapola stated.

“It’s sort of like He’s kept them hidden, you know, like secret little pockets here and there, but now — at least He has told us that He’s planning to unite all of (them) into one big army.”

“For a great battle because it’s coming.”

Since the Mission of Divine Mercy began to make public the messages that Sister Amapola says she has received, the local ordinary has taken action against the order and its superior. Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller of San Antonio has withdrawn Father Foster’s faculties, banning him from public ministry and withdrawing him from the parish where he served as parochial vicar. García-Siller has also suppressed the community and ordered the seizure of its property by the archdiocese.

According to the archbishop, these actions followed a canonical warning and admonition made a week earlier.

LifeSiteNews also published this response from the group's superior regarding their decision to publish the messages despite being forbidden to do so by their archbishop.

It is such a flawed document, I am loathe to include it's full response here. But the link to it is provided for those interested.

We note the superior's usurpation of authority to publish the 'messages' anyway by personally declaring their authenticity, "That these Messages are coming from God. They are prophetic Messages." By any definition, that is simply self-serving navel gazing.

Authentic seers most humbly submit to their superiors.

And authentic seers aren't - like the fake Sister Lucy - all smiles. They have a serious demeanor. Think of St. Bernadette, the children of La Salette, the children of Fatima, etc.

Let us pray much for Bp. Williamson, who once again, is promoting (indirectly) the Novus Ordo/Conciliar Church. To whom much is given, much is expected...
