(LifeSiteNews [adapted - not all hyperlinks included from original]) – The Trump administration has replaced the Biden administration’s dedicated COVID-19 resource website with a White House landing page detailing several of the most prominent falsehoods previously promoted by the medical establishment, including about lockdowns and the true origins of the virus.

Whereas covid.gov previously displayed resources such as vaccine recommendations, treatment recommendations, local testing locations, and pitches to wear face masks, the web address now redirects to a White House page headlined “LAB LEAK: The True Origins of Covid-19.”

The new page is based largely on the U.S. House Oversight & Accountability Committee’s Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic’s December 2024 After Action Review on COVID-19 and the government response. That report affirmed the verdict that COVID most likely originated in a lab through gain-of-function research and broadly condemned the lockdowns of personal freedom and economic activity but attempted to walk a far finer and sometimes contradictory line on the COVID vaccines, which President Donald Trump has been reluctant to disavow.

Accordingly, the page provides an overview of the medical establishment’s initial attempt to discredit the possibility of COVID originating in a lab (and by extension their own culpability in releasing it), condemns former President Joe Biden’s pardon of former White House COVID czar Dr. Anthony Fauci, highlights former New York Democrat Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s culpability in nursing home deaths due to his pandemic decisions, notes “social distancing” was “arbitrary and not based on science,” and says there was “no conclusive evidence that masks effectively protected Americans from COVID-19” while omitting any discussion of the vaccines.

“Public health officials often mislead the American people through conflicting messaging, knee-jerk reactions, and a lack of transparency,” the new page summarizes. “Most egregiously, the federal government demonized alternative treatments and disfavored narratives, such as the lab leak theory, in a shameful effort to coerce and control the American people’s health decisions. When those efforts failed, the Biden Administration resorted to ‘outright censorship — coercing and colluding with the world’s largest social media companies to censor all COVID-19-related dissent.’”

Nearly every major position asserted as fact during the height of the COVID pandemic has since been determined to be fatally flawed. A large body of evidence has found that mass restrictions on personal and economic activity undertaken in 2020 and part of 2021 caused far more harm than good in terms of personal freedom and economics as well as public health, and that lives could have been saved through far less burdensome methods, such as the promotion of established therapeutic drugs, narrower protections focused on those most at risk (such as the elderly and infirm), and increasing vitamin D intake.

In Florida, the first report by a grand jury impaneled by Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis determined that lockdowns did more harm than good, that masks were ineffective at stopping COVID transmission, that COVID was “statistically almost harmless” to children and most adults, and that it is “highly likely” that COVID hospitalization numbers were inflated.

U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch has called America’s COVID response one of “the greatest intrusions on civil liberties in the peacetime history of this country,” against which Congress, state legislatures, and courts alike were largely negligent to protect constitutional rights, personal liberty, and the rule of law.

As for the COVID shots, which were developed in record time by the first Trump administration’s Operation Warp Speed initiative, the federal Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) reports 38,541 deaths, 220,494 hospitalizations, 22,247 heart attacks, and 28,908 myocarditis and pericarditis cases as of March 28, among other ailments. U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) CDC researchers have recognized a “high verification rate of reports of myocarditis to VAERS after mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccination,” leading to the conclusion that “under-reporting is more likely” than over-reporting.

An analysis of 99 million people across eight countries published in the journal Vaccine “observed significantly higher risks of myocarditis following the first, second and third doses” of mRNA-based COVID vaccines, as well as signs of increased risk of “pericarditis, Guillain-Barré syndrome, and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis,” and other “potential safety signals that require further investigation.” In April 2024, the CDC was forced to release by court order 780,000 previously undisclosed reports of serious adverse reactions, and a study out of Japan found “statistically significant increases” in cancer deaths after third doses of mRNA-based COVID-19 vaccines and offered several theories for a causal link.

In January, a long-awaited Florida grand jury report on the COVID vaccine manufacturers found that while only a miniscule percentage of the millions of vaccinations resulted in serious harm based on the data it had access to, such events do occur, and there are “profound and serious issues” in pharmaceutical companies’ review process, including reluctance to share what evidence of adverse events they did find.

All eyes are currently on Trump and his health team, helmed by Robert F. Kennedy as Secretary of Health & Human Services (HHS). As one of the country’s most vocal critics of the COVID establishment and vaccines more generally, his nomination brought hope that the second Trump administration will take a critical reassessment of the shots that the returning president has previously embraced, although most of Kennedy’s comments since joining Trump have focused on other issues, such as conventional vaccines and harmful food additives, and during confirmation hearings he called Operation Warp Speed an “extraordinary accomplishment.”

Trump has given mixed signals as to the prospects of reconsidering the shots and has nominated both critics and defenders of establishment COVID measures for a number of administration roles.

The CDC and U.S. Food & Drug Administration websites’ COVID-19 pages are still active, along with recommendations to vaccinate. The HHS website also has various COVID-related content, although some items, such as the “Let’s Get Real” page about vaccinating children for the virus, appear to have been taken down.

Dr. Soon-Shiong’s Claims

According Soon-Shiong, the COVID era is the obvious change - and suggests that both the SARS-CoV-2 virus infection and the widespread vaccination campaigns could be key drivers behind this cancer spike. He emphasizes the massive scale of human exposure to the virus and its spike protein (via infection or vaccination).

We know that certain viruses directly cause cancer (e.g. HPV, Epstein-Barr), so it’s not unprecedented for a virus to play a role in oncogenesis. While SARS-CoV-2 is not a known oncovirus, Soon-Shiong worries its indirect effects – chronic inflammation, immune exhaustion, or “suppressor cells” that emerge in the wake of infection/vaccination – could be accelerating tumor development. “The answer is to stop the inflammation…clear the virus from the body,” he argues, positing that until we eradicate lingering virus and restore immune balance, we may see mounting cancer cases.

This exhaustive document of 520 pages is enriched with nearly 2,000 citations. The Subcommittee, led by Chairman Brad Wenstrup, seems a genuine attempt at government transparency. The details brought to light by Wenstrup over U.S. Government conduct during the pandemic are damning in the extreme.

Colonel Wenstrup is a doctor of podiatric medicine, an Iraq War veteran, and a former Republican representative from Ohio. He spares no one in this scathing and in-depth review of the pandemic years that saw the world locked down, children frisked away from school, and previously normal Americans descending into crazed hysteria as they cowered behind masks at a minimum of 6 foot distance apart.

This report to Congress opens the lid on a festering pot revealing many of the policies adopted by our nation, and around the world, based on deliberate disinformation and lies. Nearly every policy foisted upon the U.S. and the world during the lockdown pandemic years is shown in these pages to have been not only unjustified, but extremely damaging.

The virus almost certainly leaked from a U.S. funded lab in Wuhan that was pursuing gain-of-function research. Many at the top of the scientific community, under pressure from the Chinese Communist Party - CCP, did everything they could to obfuscate this origin.
The virus itself carries tell-tale marks of having been engineered by humans. Such indicators do not occur naturally in any other viruses of the Coronavirus family.
Dr. Anthony Fauci and others deliberately lied and misled the public, mislabeling as dangerous conspiracy theories even suspicions about the origins of the virus, and steering official policy towards affirming that the virus jumped from an animal to humans in an attempt to appease financial interests and the CCP.
The Chinese government successfully pressured international politicians, scientists, and even the World Health Organization into assenting to its party line about the origin and severity of Covid in spite of known scientific evidence to the contrary.
Many pandemic era policies forced on the public, such as masking and 6 foot social distancing, were not, in fact, based on science, but were essentially “made up” on the fly because they “sounded” good.
The economic and social consequences of lockdowns have been disastrous. Small and rural businesses were strongly hit and billions in tax-payer funded aid were funneled into the pockets of fraudsters and even overseas organized crime.
While supporting the overall efficacy of the vaccines, Wenstrup admits that it would be more rightly labeled a therapeutic, that the public was lied to about its protective power, and that mandatory vaccination was an egregious error.
Many were, in fact, harmed by the vaccine, yet few have been justly compensated for their vaccine injuries.
School closures did irreparable harm to an entire generation of children from which we will never fully recover.

At a time when people looked to their leaders for guidance, their trust was utterly betrayed. There can be no undoing the damage that came in the wake of this massive orchestrated crime.

It is incumbent on us to remember this betrayal. If we imprint it into our memory we may never succumb again to the blind trust that led to such treachery as is revealed in this Report. Next time, and Wenstrup himself affirms that there “will be” a next time, we must not allow a repeat.

Conspiracy theories no longer

I do not expect most readers to read the 520 page report, as I did. My hope is that I can cover the most pertinent material and, in my own small way, thus contribute to spread the truth in a world so shrouded in deceit.

This is straight from the horse’s mouth; it is not conspiracy theory. After so many years of skeptics being professionally and personally attacked for expressing legitimate concerns over the pandemic, the vaccines, and the Orwellian measures imposed upon society we can finally speak about how terribly wrong it all was.

After all, to claim otherwise now contradicts the official position of the U.S. government’s investigation into the pandemic.

Those who opposed those measures are vindicated. All those who attacked and denigrated the Covid skeptics can and should be shown how woefully wrong they really were. I exhort my reader: It is up to us to prevent this Report from slipping quietly into the annals of History.

(LifeSiteNews [slightly adapted - not all hyperlinks included below]) – The Biden administration spent $900 million in taxpayer dollars to unsuccessfully sell COVID-19 vaccines and masking to the general public, according to a recently completed investigation by the Republican-led U.S. House Energy & Commerce Committee.

The report, begun in April 2023 and released on October 23, sought to explore the failure of the administration’s “We Can Do This” messaging campaign to prevent public trust in the medical establishment from continuing to decline, as highlighted by a July 2023 study in the Annals of Medicine that found just 13.2% of children under five and 43.9% of youth ages 12-17 were vaccinated for COVID, and that even among those who were just under 40% of the younger group and 55.3% of those 12-17 were boosted.

The “(m)ain reasons for non-vaccination among reluctant parents were concerns about side effects (53.3%), lack of trust in COVID-19 vaccines (48.7%), the belief that children do not need a COVID-19 vaccine (38.8%), lack of trust in the government (35.6%), and that children in the household were not members of a high-risk group (32.8%),” that paper said.

The House GOP report found that “much of the scientific content” used by the campaign was based on data and advice from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), and as such was “deeply flawed” on numerous critical points that exacerbated mistrust rather than allaying it. Among the medical misinformation it promoted were claims that the COVID vaccines effectively stopped COVID transmission, exaggerations of the effectiveness of masking, and exaggerations of the risk the virus posed to children, which in reality was almost nonexistent.

The campaign also relied on celebrities to cut advertisements promoting vaccination as well as full-time social media influencers to do the same directly to their audiences, with little success. It also worked to “regularly synthesize findings from Google search trends and monitor social listening tools (weekly reports, trackers) to recommend, develop, shepherd through clearance, and traffic a range of timely static and video ads (…) on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Reddit, YouTube, Google, and Bing.” The report says it is “unclear whether personally identifiable information was in any way used by Google in the development of the Campaign for the custom search dashboard, and to what extent children’s viewing habits were involved in the Campaign.”

“While the Biden-Harris administration’s public health guidance led to prolonged closures of schools and businesses, the NIH was spending nearly a billion dollars of taxpayer money trying to manipulate Americans with advertisements — sometimes containing erroneous or unproven information. By overpromising what the COVID-19 vaccines could do — in direct contradiction of the FDA’s authorizations — and over emphasizing the virus’ risk to children and young adults, the Biden-Harris administration caused Americans to lose trust in the public health system,” said the chair of the committee, Republican U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers of Washington said. “Our investigation also uncovered the extent to which public funding went to Big Tech companies to track and monitor Americans, underscoring the need for stronger online data privacy protections.”

Reviewing the report on X, Stanford University infectious disease expert Dr. Jay Bhattacharya, one of the nation’s most prominent critics of the COVID establishment, called it “devastating” to the CDC’s credibility.

He noted that the chief strategy adopted by Fors Marsh Group (FMG), the public relations firm hired for the campaign, was to exaggerate the risk of dying from COVID while downplaying the lack of evidence that the vaccines stopped transmission of the virus. To that end, the campaign continued to promote vaccine mandates even after the administration knew the shots available at the time were not effective against COVID’s Delta variant.

At the same time, the campaign sent mixed messaging that not only undermined its own message about the vaccines but also the government’s own guidance when it came to promoting other preferred measures. In March 2021, advertisements insisted on even vaccinated Americans continuing to wear masks at a time when the CDC itself was claiming vaccination rendered masking unnecessary.

Bhattacharya also noted that Dr. Ashish Jha, Biden’s own COVID adviser, “waited until December 2022 (right after leaving government service) to tell the country that ‘(t)here is no study in the world that shows that masks work that well.’ What took him so long?”

Forced masking in public was similarly found to be ineffective at best in limiting the spread of the virus. More than 170 studies have found that masks fail to stop COVID while instead being harmful, especially to children, who evidence finds face little-to-no-danger from COVID itself. WASHINGTON, D.C. (LifeSiteNews [adapted - not all hyperlinks included from original]) — A new memo issued by the House of Representatives’ Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic sheds light on a revealing closed-door, 14-hour testimony given in January by Dr. Anthony Fauci.

On Friday, May 31, GOP Congressman Brad Wenstrup released transcripts from Fauci’s two-day remarks. At the time, Fauci had been asked to share his opinion on social distancing and other COVID measures, including masking for children.

LifeSite previously reported on some of Fauci’s testimony. The full transcripts, which can be read here and here, were released on Friday ahead of his scheduled appearance in Congress on Monday, June 3.

Fauci’s comments shockingly indicate he essentially had zero scientific evidence to support his recommendations.

“It sort of just appeared,” he said, when asked about where the six-foot social distancing ban came from. “I was not aware of studies” on that, he added. It was “an empiric decision that wasn’t based on data.”

Wenstrup’s memo further noted that Fauci “testified that he did not recall any supporting evidence for masking children.”

Dr. Fauci has repeatedly denied any blame whatsoever for the many controversial and even fatal policies enacted during the COVID pandemic. Fauci’s evasive remarks on the origins of the virus and public promotion of the shot while simultaneously vilifying alternative treatments have often resulted in him being grilled by GOP Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, who has repeatedly pressed him for answers during his many appearances on Capitol Hill.

Wenstrup’s memo further states that Fauci “unequivocally agreed with EVERY travel restriction issued by the Trump Administration at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic” but that “this testimony runs counter to the public narrative that the Trump Administration’s travel restrictions were xenophobic.”

Fauci also confirmed that it is not necessarily a “conspiracy theory” to think the virus emerged from a lab leak.

“Well, it’s a possibility. I think people have made conspiracy aspects from it,” he claimed. “And I think you have to separate the two when you keep an open mind, that it could be a lab leak or it could be a natural occurrence. I’ve mentioned in this committee that I believe the evidence that I’ve seen weighs my opinion towards one, which is a natural occurrence, but I still leave an open mind.”

Fauci dictated COVID policies for the federal government along with Dr. Deborah Birx, who recently admitted the jab may have injured “thousands” of people. Fauci stepped down as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in December 2023.

You still bump into the stickers from time to time: “Six Feet of Distance.” It’s weird and anachronistic at this point. No one pays any attention anymore. Still it would be nice to know where this came from. Oddly, we don’t really know.

Anthony Fauci was asked this question this week in U.S. House hearings on the COVID response.

Incredibly, he didn’t really know how this came about.

“It just sort of appeared,” he told the subcommittee, which was an unusual answer since he otherwise said 100 times that he could not remember anything. Here, however, he admits there was never any science behind it.

That’s extremely peculiar.

This rule governed all social interaction for two years and more.

It wrecked every manner of things, made people feel diseased and isolated, made meetings impossible, and gave rise to a whole ritual of interaction that was utterly alien to the normal human way, including elbow bumps and water-gun baptisms.

It was why schools were so delayed in reopening. They could not guarantee that students would stay apart. It’s why airports were so crowded. Everyone was trying to avoid everyone else. It’s why park benches were roped off, why restroom stalls were operating at 50 percent, and why you could not hold weddings and funerals. This stuff was enforced at all levels of society.

And yet here is the “nation’s leading infectious disease scientist” who took charge of the pandemic response saying that he has no idea where this idea came from.

Back in March 2021, the New York Times, of all egregious venues, got curious about this too. Reporter Emily Anthes asked around the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about the mandate and the science behind it.

She quotes Dr. Ashish Jha, dean of the Brown University School of Public Health.

Quote:“It never struck me that six feet was particularly sensical in the context of mitigation. I wish the C.D.C. would just come out and say this is not a major issue.”

She wrote that the origin of the six-foot distancing recommendation is something of a mystery.

“It’s almost like it was pulled out of thin air,” said Linsey Marr, an expert on viral transmission at Virginia Tech University.

The journal Clinical and Infectious Diseases even did a large study comparing six feet and three feet of distance. It was published in March 2021. The authors found no statistically significant difference in infection rates. None. They concluded:

Quote:“Lower physical distancing requirements can be adopted in school settings with masking mandates without negatively affecting student or staff safety.”

Nothing happened. We were stuck with six feet.

Once it became an enforced ritual, nothing mattered.

Now we know that not even Anthony Fauci knows where it came from.

But come on. Someone had to order this. Who did it? Some low-level bureaucrat? Someone yet unnamed? Whoever it is knows who he or she is. Lots of people know. But no one is speaking up. It seems like there should be a way to get to the bottom of this.

Most likely, it resulted from nothing but irrational germophobia and a made-up way to satiate that impulse. But consider this: one person’s personal eccentricity thus became a rule for the whole nation and world, without a single study to say nothing of a vote or opinion poll. It was just cray cray on mega-steroids, and yet some vendors became very rich printing signs and stickers for millions of businesses, churches, airports, and schools around the country.

It probably happened like the sudden mask mandate in St. Louis, Missouri, last week. Some low-level bureaucrat said it should be done and it was done. There was outrage all around, which is very good news. Beautifully, the whole thing was repealed in 24 hours, and the person who caused all this to happen was ridiculed and denounced. How dare she presume to tell everyone else what to do?

Well, that kind of thing ruled us for two years and longer, just bureaucrats making stuff up. Some of it was impractical but it was also very expensive and damaging. For example, the Plexiglas that suddenly went up everywhere actually trapped pathogens into smaller spaces and inhibited ventilation, in contradiction to their other mandates. Arguably, this mandate made the spread worse. It certainly didn’t mitigate the virus.

It seems as if all these edicts were sort of busy work to keep us alarmed and occupied with stupid antics until the virus arrived. That’s why Fauci didn’t care about them. It’s why the CDC wasn’t particularly interested in the supposed science behind any of this stuff. There never was any science. It was nothing but the imposition of irrational capers on the population to mark time until the great shot arrived. To top it off, the shot didn’t work!

Looking back—and many people don’t want to look back because it is too painful—it seems as if the whole of the public was sold a bill of goods in the name of science. It was baloney no matter which way you slice it. Some of us knew it at the time and called it out. We were denounced, attacked, and censored for saying so.

Is it any wonder that government, media, and science generally are in complete disrepute today, across the whole population and all over the world?

This is why there needs to be some discovery and accountability. We need to know where this stuff came from.

It didn’t come from the air or clouds. It was a decision made by human beings, somewhere and based on something. We should know what it is.

If Fauci doesn’t know, who does? The CDC has had three heads during this time: Robert Redfield, Rochelle Walensky, and now Mandy Cohen. They should tell all they know. If they don’t know, they should name the names of others who they think might have done this. Then Congress should ask those people and get them to say who they think it is. We should do this with every single idiotic protocol issued during that period, whether six feet, masks, sanitizer, one-way grocery isles, church closures, Plexiglas, and anything else.

The deeper truth is that the entire paradigm is drawn from the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) response to SARS-1 in 2003, which was then embraced by the World Health Organization (WHO).

That’s its real origin: it is a communist tactic of political control using infectious disease as the excuse.

This stuff traumatized the nation and the world. It broke everything. Now we have doors flying off airplanes only to find out later that the manufacturer had to lay off lots of mechanics during lockdowns. We have political upheaval in Ecuador, which had very hard lockdowns that demoralized everyone. We have huge absenteeism in public schools everywhere because the kids can no longer be bothered to go to class. We have a massive shortage of actual workers who know how to do stuff because they gave up and retired.

The lockdowns and everything associated with them utterly broke the world. The COVID response set the whole of the civilized world on fire. At the very least, we are owed an explanation for all this, starting with six feet of distance. If we cannot get to the bottom of where this came from, there’s no hope for sorting out the rest of the rigamarole. The investigations have to start somewhere. They should not stop for at least 5–10 years!

Documents recently obtained from the National Institutes of Health suggest public health officials used inaccurate information and misrepresented medical research to advance their policy objective that masks prevent severe COVID-19 and virus transmission—despite opposing scientific evidence received from experts.

In a recently obtained letter (pdf) sent in November 2021 to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), top epidemiologist Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, and seven colleagues informed the agency it was promoting flawed data and excluding data that did not reinforce their narrative.

The letter warned the agency that misrepresenting data on trusted websites such as the CDC and the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network—jointly created by the CDC and Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)—would “damage the credibility of science,” endanger public trust by “misrepresenting the evidence,” and give the public “false expectations” masking would protect them from the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes COVID-19.

“We believe the information and recommendations as provided may actually put an individual at increased risk of becoming infected with SARS-CoV-2 and for them to experience a serious or even life-threatening infection,” Mr. Osterhom wrote.

The authors urged the IDSA to remove the suggestion that masking prevents severe disease from its website and asked the CDC to reconsider its statements about the “efficacy of masks and face coverings for preventing transmission of SARS-CoV-2.”

Osterholm also noted a pattern of selectively choosing data that supported the desired narrative that masks prevent severe COVID-19 disease and transmission—claims he said are unsupported by the scientific evidence provided by the CDC and IDSA on their websites.

The IDSA “Masks and Face Coverings for the Public” webpage appears to “focus on the strengths of studies that support its conclusions while ignoring their shortcomings of study design,” Mr. Osterholm wrote. “Studies that do not support its perspective are similarly downplayed.”

The COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network was created in 2020 to share “accurate, timely information about COVID-19.” According to its website, the IDSA’s editorial team of infectious disease and public health experts synthesize clinical guidance, identify emerging scientific consensus and areas of ongoing uncertainty, and tackle “misconceptions and disinformation.”

Although partly funded by the CDC, the IDSA collaborates with numerous medical professional organizations that publish medical journals and make recommendations based on agency guidance, including the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American College of Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America, and the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists.

The letter was sent to CDC officials, the associate medical and associate digital editors of the COVID-19 Real-Time Learning Network, and IDSA board members, which included Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the former director of the CDC during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Experts Ask CDC and IDSA to Address ‘Serious Errors’ on Website

In his letter to the CDC, Mr. Osterholm asked the CDC and IDSA to address the “serious errors” published on its website regarding the efficacy of masks as soon as possible and strongly urged the IDSA to remove the suggestion that masking prevents severe COVID-19 from its website and a podcast where such “irresponsible claims were made.”

Furthermore, Mr. Osterholm recommended the IDSA reconsider statements about the efficacy of masks and coverings for preventing SARS-CoV-2 transmission, noting the IDSA’s website falsely suggests evidence of mask efficacy has strengthened throughout the pandemic.

“We do not agree that the evidence for their efficacy has strengthened throughout the pandemic, as the website suggests,” Mr. Osterholm said. “In fact, contrary to the conclusion on this website, the November 2020 Cochrane Review cited states this: ‘Compared with wearing no mask, wearing a mask may make little to no difference in how many people caught a flu-like illness (9 studies; 3,507 people); and probably makes no difference in how many people have flu confirmed by a laboratory test (6 studies; 3,005 people).'”

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) purchased data from tracking companies to monitor compliance with lockdowns, according to contracts with the firms.

The CDC paid one firm $420,000 and another $208,000. That bought access to location data from at least 55 million cellphone users.

The contracts, approved under emergency review due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were aimed at providing the CDC “with the necessary data to continue critical emergency response functions elated to evaluating the impact of visits to key points of interest, stay at home orders, closures, re-openings and other public heath communications related to mask mandate, and other merging research areas on community transmission of SARS-CoV-2,” the contracts, obtained by The Epoch Times, state.

The CDC said it would be using the tracking data to “assess home-by-hour behaviors (i.e. curfew analysis) by exploring the percentage of mobile devices at home during specific period of time.” The data could also be integrated with other information “to provide a comprehensive picture of movement/travel of persons during the COVID-19 pandemic to better understand mandatory stay-at-home orders, business closure, school re-openings, and other non-pharmaceutical interventions in states and cities.”

Under a heading labeled “potential use cases” for the data, the CDC said it could be used to try to connect the forced closures of bars and restaurants with COVID-19 infections and death rates, as well as try to assess the impact of state restrictions on close contact between people outside of their home.

The data could also be used to monitor adherence to mandated or recommended quarantines after arrival from another state and to examine the correlation of mobility patterns and spikes in COVID-19 cases at facilities such as churches, concerts, and grocery stores. It would also enable examining movement restrictions such as curfews to show “patterns” and “compliance,” the contracts state.

The contracts were previously reported on by Vice News, but the outlet only released a screenshot of a single page. Together, the contracts run 71 pages. Both were signed in 2021.

Early Research Published, Unclear What Purchased Data Used For

The CDC, early in the pandemic, received the data for free from the firms, SafeGraph and Cuebiq.

CDC researchers in 2020 published two studies utilizing the data. One focused on data from four U.S. metropolitan areas, finding that people moved around less when measures such as social distancing were imposed. Another found that harsh lockdown orders led to decreased movement, while there was more movement after states began lifting the orders.

Other researchers have also used the mobility data for studies.

No CDC studies were published after the agency bought the data and a CDC spokesperson did not provide examples of what the purchased data were used for.

“For COVID-19, the insights derived from these data provide essential information on the impact and effectiveness of policies and COVID-19 mitigation measures (e.g., jurisdictional stay-at-home orders and business closures) that had profound effects on communities,” Scott Pauley, the spokesperson, told The Epoch Times via email.

“These data provide important insights to protect public health and have been used to understand population-level impacts of COVID-19 policies and can shed important light on other pressing public health problems, like natural disaster response, and toxic environmental exposures. CDC does not and could not use these data for monitoring compliance with COVID-19 orders or individual tracking,” he added.

While the data is deanonymized, it can be used to identify people, researchers have shown.

In the past few weeks, a series of analyses published by highly respected researchers have exposed a truth about public health officials during Covid:

Much of the time, they were wrong — the New York Post reports.

To be clear, public health officials were not wrong for making recommendations based on what was known at the time. That’s understandable. You go with the data you have.

No, they were wrong because they refused to change their directives in the face of new evidence. When a study did not support their policies, they dismissed them and censored opposing opinions.

At the same time, the Centre for Disease Control weaponised research itself but putting out their own flawed studies in their own non-peer reviewed medical journal, MMWR.

In the final analysis, public health officials actively propagated misinformation that ruined lives and forever damaged public trust in the medical profession. Here are 10 ways they misled us:

Misinformation #1: Natural immunity offers little protection compared to vaccinated immunity

A Lancet study looked at 65 major studies in 19 countries on natural immunity. The researchers concluded that natural immunity was at least as effective as the primary Covid vaccine series.
In fact, the scientific data was there all along — from 160 studies, despite the findings of these studies violating Facebook’s “misinformation” policy.

Since the Athenian plague of 430 B.C., it has been observed that those who recovered after infection were protected against severe disease if reinfected. That was also the observation of nearly every practising physician during the first 18 months of the Covid pandemic.

Most Americans were fired for not having the Covid vaccine already had antibodies that effectively neutralised the virus, but they were antibodies that the government did not recognise.

Misinformation #2: Masks prevent Covid transmission

Cochran Reviews are considered the most authoritative and independent assessment of evidence in medicine. And one published last month by a highly-respected Oxford research team found that masks had no significant impact on Covid transmission.

When asked about this definitive review, CDC Director Dr Rochelle Walensky downplayed it, arguing that it was flawed because it focused on randomised controlled studies.
But that was the greatest strength of the review! Randomised studies are considered the gold standard of medical evidence. If all the energy used by public health officials to mask toddlers could have channelled to reduce child obesity by encouraging outdoor activities, we would be better off.

Misinformation #3: School closures reduce Covid transmission

The CDC ignored the European experience of keeping schools open, most without mask mandates. Transmission rates were no different, evidenced by studies conducted Spain and Sweden.

Misinformation #4: Myocarditis from the vaccine is less common than from the infection

Public health officials downplayed concerns about vaccine-induced myocarditis — or inflammation of the heart muscle. They cited poorly designed studies that under-captured complication rates. A flurry of well-designed studies said the opposite. We now know that myocarditis is six to 28-times more common after the Covid vaccine than after the infection among 16- to 24-year-old males. Tens of thousands of children likely got myocarditis, mostly subclinical, from a Covid vaccine they did not need because they were entirely healthy or because they already had Covid.

Misinformation #5: Young people benefit from a vaccine booster

Boosters reduced hospitalisation in older, high-risk Americans. But the evidence was never there that they lower Covid mortality in young healthy people. That’s probably why the CDC chose not to publish their data on hospitalisation rates among boosted Americans under 50, when they published the same rates for those over 50.

Ultimately, White House pressure to recommend boosters for all was so intense, that the FDA’s two top vaccine experts left the agency in protest, writing scathing articles on how the data did not support boosters for young people.

Misinformation #6: Vaccine mandates increased vaccination rates

President Biden and other officials demanded unvaccinated workers, regardless of their risk or natural immunity, be fired. They demanded that soldiers be dishonourably discharged and nurses be laid off in the middle of a staffing crisis. The mandate was based on the theory that vaccination reduced transmission rates — a notion later proven to be false. But after the broad recognition that vaccination does not reduce transmission, the mandates persisted, and still do to this day. A recent study from George Mason University details how vaccine mandates in nine major U.S. cities had no impact on vaccination rates. They also had no impact on Covid transmission rates.

Misinformation #7: Covid originating from the Wuhan Lab is a conspiracy theory

Google admitted to suppressing searches of “lab leak” during the pandemic. Dr Francis Collins, head of the NIH, claimed (and still does) he didn’t believe the virus came from a lab. Ultimately, overwhelming circumstantial evidence points to a lab leak origin — the same origin suggested to Dr Anthony Fauci by two very prominent virologists in a January 2020 meeting he assembled at the beginning of the pandemic. According to documents obtained by Bret Baier of Fox News, they told Drs Fauci and Collins that the virus may have been manipulated and originated in the lab, but then suddenly changed their tune in public comments days after meeting with the NIH officials. The virologists were later awarded nearly $9 million from Fauci’s agency.

Misinformation #8: It was important to get the 2nd vaccine dose 3 or 4 weeks after the 1st dose

Data was clear in the Spring of 2021, just months after the vaccine rollout, that spacing the vaccine out by three months reduces complications rates and increase immunity. Spacing out vaccines would have also saved more lives when Americans were rationing a limited vaccine supply at the height of the epidemic.

Misinformation #9: Data on the bivalent vaccine is “crystal clear”

Dr. Ashish Jha famously said this, despite the bivalent vaccine being approved using data from eight mice. To date, there has never been a randomised controlled trial of the bivalent vaccine. In my opinion, the data are crystal clear that young people should not get the bivalent vaccine. It would have also spared many children myocarditis

Misinformation #10: One in five people get long Covid

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention claims that 20% of Covid infections can result in long Covid. But a U.K. study found that only 3% of Covid patients had residual symptoms lasting 12 weeks. What explains the disparity?

It’s often normal to experience mild fatigue or weakness for weeks after being sick and inactive and not eating well. Calling these cases long Covid is the medicalisation of ordinary life.

What’s most amazing about all the misinformation conveyed by CDC and public health officials, is that there has been no apologies for holding on to their recommendations for so long after the data became apparent that they were dead wrong. Public health officials said “you must” when the correct answer should have been “we’re not sure.”

Early on, in the absence of good data, public health officials chose a path of stern paternalism. Today, they are in denial of a mountain of strong studies showing that they were wrong.

At minimum, CDC should come clean and the FDA should add a warning label to Covid vaccines, clearly stating what is now known. A mea culpa by those who led us astray would be a first step to rebuilding trust.

(LifeSiteNews) — The commissioner U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) commissioner recently testified that the agency’s Emergency Use Authorizations (EUAs) are “independent” of the COVID-19 emergency and do not expire.

During a congressional hearing discussing “the federal response to COVID-19″ within the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Dr. Robert Califf indicated that the federal agency will be transitioning EUAs related to COVID treatments and testing devices to standard procedure.

“Our EUAs are independent of the public health emergency, so we can keep them going as long as we need to,” Califf said. “We’ve been preparing the industry since day one to be ready for the transition. We’ll put a Federal Register Notice out about exactly how to make the transition as these products go to routine use and [are] no longer used on an emergency basis.”

The commissioner’s statement came in response to New Jersey Democrat Rep. Frank Pallone’s question about the “planning for the next phase of the federal response of this pandemic.”

In an opening statement, Califf said that the FDA has “issued EUAs or provided traditional marketing authorizations to over 2,800 medical devices for COVID-19, which is 15 times more EUAs than all other previous emergencies combined.”

Califf’s written testimony provided further details, stating that the FDA’s Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) “prioritized at-home tests since the beginning of the pandemic.”

According to Califf, the CDRH approved 30 over-the-counter at-home COVID tests made available to the public.

“Since January 2020, FDA has engaged with over 1,000 developers and authorized over 433 tests. CDRH continues to issue EUAs as appropriate for other types of devices and has taken various actions to help facilitate the availability of critical devices and supplies for health care providers and patients.”

Out of 510,000 devices that were reviewed by the agency, 1,900 are approved and “can be used for COVID-19 and certain similar diseases, including future pandemics.” The organization also released 28 “guidance documents” in an effort to expand availability of the devices.

“As we look to transition from the COVID-19 PHE [public health emergency] to normal operations, FDA has worked on guidances for transitioning devices that fall within enforcement policies issued during the COVID-19 PHE or that received EUAs to help facilitate a clear and predictable path to market for interested developers.”

Although the experimental vaccines were released to the public under emergency authorization, Califf maintained in his testimony that “vaccination is the best thing Americans can do right now to protect themselves and their families from the risk of becoming seriously ill or dying” from the virus. He added that the “proven effectiveness” of the shots has been “undercut by a constant flow of misinformation,” leading to many citizens choosing to avoid the shots.

Despite Califf’s confidence in the EUA vaccines, evidence has shown that the experimental shots can cause significant harm and may be more dangerous than contracting the COVID virus itself. Last month, U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson demanded answers from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director as to why the agency said it found no “unexpected safety signals” for the vaccines. Johnson’s letter came after The Epoch Times published a report showing various adverse effects of the shots, including myocarditis, pericarditis, and cardiac arrest.

The data shows that the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) found “770 different types of adverse events” among adults over age 18. Additionally, 96 safety signals were found among vaccinated children between the ages of 12 and 17 and 66 safety signals were identified for 5- to 11-year-olds.

(Robert Malone) – On Wednesday afternoon, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted unanimously by 15–0 for the CDC to recommend that children get the COVID-19 “vaccines and boosters.”

The actual vote to add this experimental COVID-19 mRNA injection to the childhood vaccination schedule is on Thursday.

It is important to recognize that this is a work-around because Congress is not funding more jabs into arms. If this product is put on the childhood schedule, Congress does not have a say in the funding. Furthermore, if the emergency use authorization (EUA) vanishes, then the liability of the companies would continue under the childhood schedule. This is corruption.

I honestly didn’t think the ACIP would “go there.” For one, this is still an unlicensed product. I am still not sure an EUA vaccine product can be added to the schedule. I don’t believe it has ever been done before.

It is now predicted that CDC is almost certain to add the COVID-19 shots to its “Childhood Vaccines Schedule” on Thursday. This means that public schools, which all use this schedule, will then be able to mandate the “vaccines” in order for children to attend public school.

This is all being done at the last minute and basically behind the backs of the public, as this received virtually no media attention prior to the vote. I do not believe that this vote was announced to the public beforehand. Alternative media only figured it out due to the sharp eyes of Steve Kirsch.

ACIP’s decision to add the COVID-19 shots is based on regulatory capture, budgetary issues, politics, and it is not based on scientific data.

We all know the adverse event profile of the jabs. It is horrific. The small sample size in the clinical trials were poorly designed and inadequately powered.

We all know other countries have completely stopped vaccinating children with these products.

If they add these jabs to the childhood schedule, it will completely break the trust of the American family in the CDC, as it should.

I am shocked by the malfeasance. I have no trust left at all in our public health. It is broken.
