I have an idea.

I'm not sure it's a good idea; but I'll float it.

I'm sharing it here precisely because Fr. Hewko teaches that Catholics cannot vote in this election. I thank him for preaching this truth. I think he may be the lone voice spanning all of Tradition. May God bless him for that.

Many of us will still be heading to the polls to vote in local elections. In my state there are two referenda and some local races where I would like to cast a vote. Thus many of us will have ballots in our hands, and will have to decide what to do about the presidential race. We may not want to leave the ballot blank, lest some criminal fill it in with the name of one of our enemies.

My idea is that we should write in, in Latin: Jesus Nazarenus, Rex Judaeorum.

This, and not: Christ the King.

Why?

I believe that the presidential and other races carry curses and spells, and that those who participate in them not only commit sin but come under demonic oppression - come under the curses when they consent to be ruled by the demons, via their vote. I believe that the demons actually get authority over people when they cast votes for members of the demon-acracy. This would go a long way to explain the exponential decline of America into moral degradation, over mere decades, no matter which party captures the oval office. It also explains why so many traditional Catholics are still going to vote for Trump, even after God has provided them with ample evidence that Trump is exactly the same as Harris.

Recall just how odious was the Titulus of our Lord to His enemies. They demanded that Pilate erase and rescind it. It cut them to the heart, the same way the words of St. Stephen cut them. They hate it - but more, they are terrified of it - because it is absolute Truth, and a powerful weapon against their malevolent designs.

The Titulus carries massive spiritual power. This utterance, this Title of our Lord Jesus Christ, is the utterance of Almighty God Himself. It will break curses and demonic strangleholds. I believe this with all my heart.

Hence, I suggest this idea to, perhaps, the one and only group in vestigial Christendom that might just agree.

God protect and save us!

Cashless Society: WEF Boasts That 98% Of Central Banks Are Adopting CBDCs

Whatever happened to the WEF? One minute they were everywhere in the media and now they have all but disappeared from public discourse. After the pandemic agenda was defeated and the plan to exploit public fear to create a perpetual medical autocracy was exposed, Klaus Schwab and his merry band of globalists slithered back into the woodwork. To be sure, we'll be seeing them again one day, but for now the WEF has relegated itself away from the spotlight and into the dark recesses of the Davos echo chamber.

Much of their discussions now focus on issues like climate change or DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion), but one vital subject continues to pop up in the white papers of global think tanks and it's a program that was introduced very publicly during covid. Every person that cares about economic freedom should be wary of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) as perhaps the biggest threat to human liberty since the attempted introduction of vaccine passports.

The WEF recently boasted in a new white paper that 98% of all central banks are now pursuing CBDC programs. The report, titled 'Modernizing Financial Markets With Wholesale Central Bank Digital Currency', notes:

“CeBM is ideal for systemically important transactions despite the emergence of alternative payment instruments...Wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) is a form of CeBM that could unlock new economic models and integration points that are not possible today.”

The paper primarily focuses on the streamlining of crossborder transactions, an effort which the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has been deeply involved in for the past few years. It also highlights an odd concept of differentiated CBDC mechanisms, each one specifically designed to be used by different institutions for different reasons. Wholesale CBDCs would be used only by banking institutions, governments and some global corporations, as opposed to Retail CBDCs which would be reserved for the regular population.

How the value and buying power of Wholesale CBDCs would differ is not clear, but it's easy to guess that these devices would give banking institutions a greater ability homogenize international currencies and transactions. In other words, it's the path to an eventual global currency model. By extension, the adoption of CBDCs by governments and global banks will ultimately lead to what the WEF calls "dematerialization" - The removal of physical securities and money. The WEF states:

"As with the Bank of England’s (BOE) RTGS modernization programme, the intention is to introduce a fully digitized securities system that is future-proofed for incremental adoption of DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology). The tokenization of assets involves creating digital tokens representing underlying assets like real estate, equities, digital art, intellectual property and even cash. Tokenization is a key use case for blockchain, with some estimates pointing towards $4-5 trillion in tokenized securities on DLTa by 2030."

Finally, they let the cat out of the bag:

"The BIS proposed two models for bringing tokenization into the monetary system: 1) Bring CBDCs, DTs and tokenized assets on to a common unified ledger, and 2) pursue incremental progress by creating interlinking systems.

They determined the latter option was more feasible given that the former requires a reimagination of financial systems. Experimentation with the unified ledger concept is ongoing."

To interpret this into decoded language - The unified ledger is essentially another term for a one world digital currency system completely centralized and under the control of global banks like the BIS and IMF. The WEF and BIS are acknowledging the difficulty of introducing such a system without opposition, so, they are recommending incremental introduction using "interlinking systems" (attaching CBDCs to paper currencies and physical contracts and then slowly but surely dematerializing those assets and making digital the new norm). It's the totalitarian tip-toe.

The BIS predicts there will be at least 9 major CBDCs in circulation by the year 2030; this is likely an understatement of the intended plan. Globalists have hinted in the past that they prefer total digitization by 2030.

A cashless society would be the end game for economic anonymity and freedom in trade. Unless alternative physical currencies are widely adopted in protest, CBDCs would make all transactions traceable and easily interrupted by governments and banks. Imagine a world in which all trade is monitored, all revenues are monitored and transactions can be blocked if they are found to offend the mandates of the system. Yes, these things do happen today, but with physical cash they can be circumvented.

Imagine a world where your ability to spend money can be limited to certain retailers, certain services, certain products and chosen regions based on your politics, your social credit score and your background. The control that comes with CBDCs is immense and allows for complete micromanagement of the population. The fact that 98% of central banks are already adopting this technology should be one of the biggest news stories of the decade, yet, it goes almost completely ignored.

DAVOS, Switzerland (LifeSiteNews) — An Amazonian shaman on Wednesday performed a pagan ritual over a panel after the members discussed “Climate and Nature” at the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) 2024 meeting in Davos, Switzerland.

After a discussion on how to “enable a net-zero, nature positive” future, a woman introduced as Chief Putanny from the Yawanawá tribe of the Amazon gave a brief address asking for help in “healing the planet.” She presented herself as representing “the voice of nature” and “the voice of the forest” and concluded, “When we are all united in our hearts and thoughts, our Mother Earth will listen to us.”

She proceeded to engage in what appeared to be a pagan ritual “blessing,” rubbing her hands together and reciting a “prayer” before blowing air on the head of each panelist.

The panelists and Chief Putanny then joined hands to the applause of their audience and received a standing ovation from a few individuals, most notably former U.S. vice president and climate alarmist Al Gore.

It was only relatively recently, in 2005, that women were permitted to undergo initiation as a spiritual leader, or shaman, of the Yawanawá. According to Vivejar, an online information resource on Brazil, the tribe believes that “the shamans are guardians of the tribe’s knowledge, from medicine to arts, and they learn the magic secrets with the spirits.”

Another webpage devoted to the Yawanawá admits that “Shamanic power is ambivalent since it simultaneously enables the capacity to cure and to provoke illnesses,” and that “accusations of sorcery and poisoning among the Yawanawá occur both between and within groups, provoking periodic social tensions that may give rise to fissions.”

Publicly available information on the spirituality of the Yawanawá is relatively limited and tends to describe their religious rituals rather than the spiritual beliefs underlying such rituals. For example, multiple sources point out that during certain healing ceremonies, Yawanawá shamans ingest Ayahuasca, a psychoactive concoction often used in the Amazon region during spiritual practices.

In a 2004 work titled “The Anthropology of Assault Sorcery and Witchcraft in Amazonia,” Neil L. Whitehead and Robin Wright points out that “ … given the self-improvement motivations that have brought so many into a popular understanding of shamanism, two defining aspects of shamanism in Amazonia — blood (i.e., violence) and tobacco — have simply been erased from such representations.”

The authors confirm with many anecdotes that shamanism has traditionally been used to inflict death and suffering on enemies as well as to heal. They go so far as to assert that “ritual practices of curers are intimately linked to the assaults of shamanic killers and cannot be understood apart from them.”

The WEF does not officially endorse a particular religion or spirituality but hosts “ecumenical” panels during its annual meetings involving participants of different religions.

Last year, a WEF speaker revealed during a “Keeping the faith” panel discussion that he was told not to use the words “God,” “faith,” and “religion” during his talk.

The panel participants in this year’s “Climate and Nature” discussion included International Monetary Fund managing director Kristalina Georgieva; atmospheric scientist Katharine Hayhoe; Ingka Group CEO Jesper Brodin; André Hoffmann, the vice chairman of the drug company Roche Holding; and World Bank Group president Ajay Banga.

Ordained trees become sacred and protected from illegal logging because harming an ordained monk is taboo in the Buddhist religion.

The recognition that religion can be a powerful tool when applied to selling the global warming narrative has been gaining traction at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF), where faith has traditionally been kept at arm's length.

The globalist agencies are now welcoming help from religious leaders fighting climate change, one of the 17 U.N. sustainable development goals for 2030.

But some religious leaders are alarmed by their colleagues' involvement in the climate debate.

"I think this is a dangerous agenda, and it keeps the church from doing what its primary calling is, and that is to win people to faith in Jesus Christ," Robert Jeffress, pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, told The Epoch Times.

"We ought to be much more concerned about what God thinks."

The U.N. predicts doom if urgent action isn't taken to save the earth from the calamity of rising oceans and extreme weather caused by global warming, although scientific evidence remains controversial.

The U.N.'s 2030 climate goal calls for "deep, rapid, and sustained" reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 42 percent, and the U.N. is aiming for net zero emissions by 2050. It predicts that global temperatures will rise by more than 1.5 degrees Celsius by 2035.

Crucifying Fossil Fuel

In anticipation of the U.N. Paris Climate Conference in 2015, Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim, and Christian groups issued climate change declarations, marking a turning point in faith leader support for the global climate agenda.

The U.N. heralded the news of Pope Francis's papal letter on climate change that year to all Roman Catholic bishops, titled Laudato Si.

The spiritual leader of 1.36 billion Catholics lent his considerable clout to saving the planet, lamenting that environmental degradation was hurting the world's poorest citizens.

"I urgently appeal, then, for a new dialogue about how we are shaping the future of our planet," Pope Francis wrote.

And although the pontiff couldn't attend this year's COP28 U.N. climate summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, he sent a message for the inauguration of the first-ever Faith Pavilion at the event, stressing the responsibility of religious leaders to care for the planet.

Many religious leaders have joined U.N. officials in demanding that financial institutions stop funding fossil fuel projects.

Leaders of the World Council of Churches, Muslim Council of Elders, and New York Board of Rabbis released statements in 2021 and 2022 saying that banks, pension funds, and insurance firms had a "moral imperative" to stop investing in fossil fuels.

They pressured financial institutions to invest in so-called renewable energy for "children and future generations of life on earth."

Michael O'Fallon is the founder of Sovereign Nations, a media website dedicated to the preservation of national sovereignty.

He spoke with The Epoch Times about what he sees as a sinister development.

The climate change agenda is part of the U.N. and WEF's quest to govern the world's energy and wealth, he said.

"This is going to be all-encompassing. It's going to change everything unless we completely stop it," Mr. O'Fallon warned.

As evidence of the new world order, he pointed to the Terra Carta, a document on people and planet rights modeled after the 808-year-old Magna Carta.

The 2021 Terra Carta is part of the sustainable market plan started by British King Charles, who's head of the Church of England.

According to its mandate, "nature" must be given "fundamental rights and value" to ensure a lasting and tangible legacy for this generation.

Even otherwise traditionally conservative Christian groups, such as the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), have joined the environmental movement.

Christians believe in following in Jesus's footsteps by helping the poor and vulnerable—who globalists contend will suffer the most from climate change.

"We wish to navigate the complexities of our times, including issues like climate change, with Biblical clarity and a deep love that reflects God's own heart for this world, especially for those least able to enjoy its blessings," NAE President Walter Kim said in a 2022 statement.

But Mr. Jeffress said he isn't buying what the U.N. is selling.

"Look, let's be clear, Jesus Christ is the one who sets the agenda for the church, not the United Nations," Mr. Jeffress said.

"And for churches to adopt the United Nations purpose statement and causes is really the church prostituting itself, allowing itself to be used by an outside organization."

The concept of nations is biblical, meaning a global government isn't part of God's plan, he said.

In his new book, "Are We Living in the End Times?" being released this month, Mr. Jeffress said people need to be politically and spiritually aware of what's happening. The Southern Baptist pastor is known as a spiritual adviser to former President Donald Trump.

The so-called climate urgency has galvanized environmental activists from GreenFaith and Interfaith Power and Light to stage protests and disruptions.

GreenFaith organized a demonstration last year at BlackRock's New York location that resulted in arrests after protesters warned the colossal investment firm to stop "destroying the earth" by investing in fossil fuels.

(LifeSiteNews) — Pascal Najadi, the son of World Economic Forum co-founder Hussain Najadi, called for the arrests of those responsible for the forced COVID-19 “vaccinations” of 5.7 billion people around the world, saying the injections are a bioweapon leading to “democide.”

“Democide” is a term coined a few decades ago that refers to government mass murder and extermination of civilian populations via either direct action or indifference.

“Everything evil in the world related to democide, unfortunately, comes from Geneva,” Najadi said as he listed the global organizations headquartered in Geneva that played major roles in mandating the COVID jab, which has proved deadly to an estimated 50 million souls around the globe and medically debilitating to tens of millions more.

Among those organizations based in Geneva are the World Economic Forum (WEF), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Global Alliance for Vaccine Immunization (GAVI).

“The World Economic Forum – of which my father was a co-founder and left Klaus Schwab out of disgust in the early 1980s – has diplomatic immunity” from the Swiss government, Najadi noted.

“I, as a Swiss citizen, right here now, declare that the WEF is not eligible anymore for diplomatic immunity,” Najadi said. “I call on the Swiss authorities and security to arrest those people immediately. Why?”

The WEF, the WHO, GAVI, Big Pharma, Big Tech, Bill Gates all advocated a global humanity injection by a bioweapon, injecting nano lipids into 5.7 billion people.

And we Swiss are hosting them? We can no longer tolerate any entity that promotes poison to be injected into humanity.

“I’m a victim. I’m dying from it, and my mother too,” said Najadi, who has described previously that he experienced severe bodily harm when Swiss doctors injected him with “poison.”

Najadi said that as a result of the Pfizer jab he now suffers from a terminal autoimmune condition. Doctors have told him that his lifespan will now be reduced by up to 25 years.

“It’s ‘democide,’” he reemphasized.

“It will be corrected in the name of humanity,” he predicted.

“The victims curve is going up, steep,” Najadi said during an interview in June. “The turbo cancer cases in Europe are exploding. Children are dropping dead. This is unforgivable.”

“This genocide is driven by the WHO. We’re talking about more than 50 million people worldwide killed, murdered by those injections,” Najadi continued. “This is a genocide of biblical dimensions.”

“Fauci, the CDC, the WHO, Pfizer, and the government officials and media that were in [on] this, in my personal view, they’ll face God very soon and they’ll have to answer tough questions,” he mused.

Najadi referred to the Big Pharma corporations as “gangsters,” adding that a long line of political and medical industry leaders and unelected bureaucrats “belong behind bars.”

In March, Najadi filed a civil lawsuit in the Supreme Court of the State of New York in Manhattan against Pfizer, Inc. which he hopes will bring a halt to the manufacture and implementation of the COVID mRNA injection and its accompanying adverse effects.

Late last year, Najadi filed criminal charges against Swiss President Alain Berset for abuse of public office concerning his role in his government’s push to inject citizens with an experimental drug without informed consent.

The Fed recently put out a white paper, Data Privacy for Digital Asset Systems, which contends that the expectation of privacy in digital currencies (read: CBDCs) stems from misunderstanding how digital systems work.

“Concepts such as the desire for ‘cash-like anonymity’ are based on false underlying assumptions.”, is the crux of it (quick, somebody tell the Monero team, and everybody else already deploying anonymizing protocols and applications for digital assets).

The subtext is that there can be some privacy and confidentiality safeguards built into CBDCs, but at the end of the day those would still be subject to being overridden or dispensed with. The paper doesn’t come out and say that, but it does make oblique references:

Quote:“confidentiality implies that collected and stored data is protected from view in some manner, such as obfuscation or access restriction, and available only to authorized actors.”

Which of course makes you wonder who exactly will be authorized and what will their capabilities be? It truly is the trillion dollar question.

WEF: “Hold my beer”

If we keep this paper in mind while we consider the World Economic Forum’s recent article on digital currencies, privacy and freedom, which put a finer point on it, while paying lip service to the desire for privacy in those characteristic WEF-speak euphemisms:

Quote:“A digital cash replacement should not enable criminality, but there should be some freedom to transact with complete privacy.”

“Some freedom” implies that any freedom will be subject to approval, because either you have complete freedom, or you don’t.

“Some freedom” coming from the WEF especially, sounds a lot like their “Life in 2030” vision, which is mostly known for point #1: “You’ll own nothing and be happy”.

Point #4 is “You’ll eat much less meat. An occasional treat, not a staple. For the environment, and for your health”.

In other words, according to the WEF, digital currencies will afford some privacy and some freedom. Just like how in 2030 you’ll be able to eat some meat. (As long as you behave.)

Throughout the piece the impetus toward digital currencies is ascribed to consumer preferences for convenience – that nation states and NGOs (including the WEF) are relentlessly pushing us there, along with digital IDs and health passports, is never mentioned.

Quote:Through their preference for the convenience of electronic payments, we will inadvertently lose the historic freedom that only cash provides: to spend our money on what we want, with whom we choose.

It’s always amusing to watch the Davos-darlings pretend to grapple with thorny ethical issues:

Quote:As governments and central banks consider introducing retail central bank digital currencies (CBDC), they must therefore answer the following: Once the last cash payment is made, does this mean our historic right to make payments that are not observable or censorable by the state will end on the same day? Is that what we want?

The answer, of course, is a resounding “yes” if we’re to remember some of the more breathless pronouncements from their conclaves:

Quote:“We are developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint. What does that mean? That’s where are they travelling, how are they traveling? What are they eating? What are they consuming on the platform? So, individual – carbon – footprint – tracker. Stay tuned, we don’t have it operational yet, but it’s something we’re working on”.

The WEF article tackles the conundrum:

Quote:any system that allows people to make payments that cannot be traced or blocked is bound to attract criminals as well as facilitate personal liberty… A digital currency system should not mimic the “wild west”, but there should be some freedom to transact with complete privacy.

And while the article acknowledges that,

Quote:“if a CBDC doesn’t have some element of this capability, my prediction is it will fail in some major developed economies.”,

the entire framing is that Central Banks are the only game in town, and they need to get it right:

Quote:If the private sector could deliver a truly cash-like product itself, then we wouldn’t need this debate, but even a limited degree of cash-like behaviour would be incompatible with electronic payments laws. The reality is that only a central bank could deliver this type of product, thanks to the precedent set by their monopoly on the issuance of cash.

This paragraph would be the so-called “money-shot”. There is no mention of Bitcoin, or that crypto-currencies and stablecoins are already becoming ceded territory within the regulatory frameworks of nation states. There is no acknowledgement that many holders of wealth and capital will simply end-run CBDCs for the very reasons they articulate.

One of the WEF’s core tenets is that nation states are losing their position as the sole arbiters of power in this Fourth Industrial Revolution. That means they will have to coexist within a rubric of “Stakeholder Capitalism”, but what the WEF sending mixed messages:

On the one hand, governments are losing their primacy (and thus, monopoly on money issuance and supra-national initiatives like digital id’s and health passports), while on the other, only they have the authority to bless ascendent monetary systems. Which is it?

And how could you possibly publish an article like this without observing the elephant in the room: Bitcoin (and crypto-currencies, including stablecoins) have already entered the monetary landscape and have changed it in irreversible ways.

As expected when it comes to the World Economic Forum, it’s a display of truly breathtaking hubris and nescience.

(The Sociable [slightly adapted]) — The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) carrot or stick approach to climate policies is virtually the same as it was for COVID.

From COVID contact tracing and vaccine passports to carbon footprint tracking and measuring, the end goal is practically identical – to develop the technological foundation to track and trace every person and object on the planet in order to incentivize, coerce, or otherwise manipulate individual human behavior.

Take the latest WEF Annual Meeting of the New Champions, aka “Summer Davos,” that took place in China last month as the latest example of unelected globalists trying to nudge people towards changing their behavior by tracking the carbon footprints of the products they use.

Speaking during a session called “How to Stay Within Planetary Boundaries – Carrot or Stick?” Ma Jun, the director of the Chinese NGO Institute of Public and Environmental Affairs, said that the Chinese people were aware of tangible things like air and water pollution that they could experience with their own senses, but were less aware of climate issues (i.e. their carbon footprints), which were less tangible, but that measuring carbon footprints could be the solution.

“In China, people’s awareness on the ecological side and on the pollution control side is much higher than the climate side,” said Jun, adding, “On the climate side, it’s still not quite there. We’re still lagging behind, say, regions like Europe, which can have such a high level of public awareness, which can support very, very tough public policy on the climate side.”

China had one of the toughest, most Orwellian responses to COVID while simultaneously rounding up its Uighur population for internment in “re-education camps,” but this man is saying that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) can’t support tough policies on climate?

At any rate, Jun went on to explain, “In China, the government have created this 30-60 commitment, but people haven’t really linked their daily lives with that, so how do we create those links?

“It’s not like smog; it’s not as palpable as the water pollution and air pollution, so we need to create those [links].”

To further his point, Jun held up a cup of water to explain how its carbon footprint could be tracked and traced from cradle to the gate and on to the grave.

He said that with emerging technology, people could take a picture of a cup and find all kinds of information about its entire life cycle while also measuring its carbon footprint.

WEF founder Klaus Schwab predicted this in his 2017 book “The Fourth Industrial Revolution.”

There, Schwab wrote, “Any package, pallet or container can now be equipped with a sensor, transmitter or radio frequency identification (RFID) tag that allows a company to track where it is as it moves through the supply chain – how it is performing, how it is being used, and so on.”

“In the near future, similar monitoring systems will also be applied to the movement and tracking of people,” he added.

Schwab’s words would turn prophetic during the pandemic.

What started with digital contact tracing and surveillance in 2020 quickly morphed into vaccine passports, which paved the technological framework to push forward digital identity schemes by way of a trojan horse in early 2021 – all of which were championed by the WEF and its partners.

Vaccine passports, according to the WEF, “serve as a form of digital identity” while a “digital identity determines what products, services and information we can access – or, conversely, what is closed off to us.”

While Schwab mentioned RFID chips as a technology by which people and goods would be tracked and traced, Jun said that carbon footprint tracking could be done with smartphones, AI, big data, and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

“We need to create a searchable, user-friendly catalogue and link that with new tools, like take a picture to understand the embedded carbon, so next time it’s not just about in general what kind of carbon footprint of this cup, but very, very specific – this specific brand, even the specific batch of this,” said Jun at this year’s Summer Davos.

“If we link that with AI technology, and then big data, and particularly Internet of Things, there are ways for us to come up with instant measurement and reporting of the carbon footprint.

“I hope that through this we can help people to really make different choices,” he added.

But when the carrot fails to work, the stick will come down heavy.

Spare the rod, spoil the child – only this time the child is you and me, and the rod is a social credit system linked to your digital ID and Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that can be programmed and turned off with a virtual switch.

Presently, banks and ecommerce platforms like Alibaba are beginning to implement carbon footprint trackers as a means to simply measure carbon footprints, but a future where measurement turns into punishment may not be far off.

Speaking at the WEF’s annual meeting in 2022, Alibaba president J. Michael Evans announced that the Chinese multinational e-commerce platform would soon be launching individual carbon footprint trackers in an attempt to change people’s shopping and travel behaviors.

The individual carbon footprint tracker looks to operate similarly to the Chinese Communist Party’s social credit system by rewarding people who “do the right thing” while punishing those who “do the wrong thing” – carrot versus stick.

“At a billion consumers, we’re developing, through technology, an ability for consumers to measure their own carbon footprint,” Evans told the unelected globalists at Davos 2022 during the “Strategic Outlook: Responsible Consumption” session.

“What does that mean?” he went on to say.

“That’s where they’re traveling, how they are traveling, what are they eating, what are they consuming on the platform.

“So, individual carbon footprint tracker, stay tuned! We don’t have it operational yet, but this is something we’re working on.”

An individual carbon footprint tracker doesn’t have to be part of a social credit system – it can be used by shoppers and travelers simply as a way to know how much they are consuming for their own purposes, but it’s a slippery slope towards being a social crediting tool.

Measuring individual carbon footprint is one thing; however, if governments mandate the tracker as a matter of policy for punishing or rewarding behavior, then it becomes yet another tool for enforcing a system of social credit.

And if programmable CBDCs and digital IDs become widely accepted, it would be very easy to turn carbon footprint measurement into carbon footprint enforcement.

After all, what would be the purpose of setting up a system to track people’s carbon footprints if it wouldn’t be used to tax or otherwise punish those who do “the wrong thing?”

In China, citizens are given a credit score based on their online and offline behavior. It’s a system that rewards “good” behavior like spending time with the elderly while punishing “bad” behavior like protesting the government or spending too much time playing videogames.

When “trust” is broken in one area, restrictions are placed everywhere – meaning citizens who commit even minor infractions can be blacklisted from traveling, going to restaurants, renting a home, or even having insurance. This has happened to over 30 million citizens, according to Chinese State-run media.

The ways in which this type of social credit enforcement can be carried out are truly dystopian under the current technocratic takeover of society known as the great reset, as it’s called in its present manifestation.

Go over your carbon limit, and you may be fined at the least, or you may not be able to travel, buy meat, adjust your thermostat, or worse.

Governments can program Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) with expiry dates and to restrict undesirable purchases, according to a discussion at the World Economic Forum (WEF) “Summer Davos” meeting in China.

Today at the WEF’s 14th Annual Meeting of the New Champions, aka “Summer Davos,” in Tianjing, China, Cornell University professor Eswar Prasad said that “we are at the cusp of physical currency essentially disappearing,” and that programmable CBDCs could take us to either a better or much darker place.

“If you think about the benefits of digital money, there are huge potential gains,” said Prasad, adding, “It’s not just about digital forms of digital currency; you can have programmability — units of central bank currency with expiry dates.

“You could have […] a potentially better — or some people might say a darker world — where the government decides that units of central bank money can be used to purchase some things, but not other things that it deems less desirable like say ammunition, or drugs, or pornography, or something of the sort, and that is very powerful in terms of the use of a CBDC, and I think also extremely dangerous to central banks.”

The Cornell professor went on to say that “ultimately, if you have different units of central bank money with different characteristics, or if you use central bank money as a conduit for economic policies in a very targeted way, or more broadly for social policies, that could really affect the integrity of central bank money and the integrity and independence of central banks.

“So, there are wonderful notions of things that can be done with digital money, but again I fear the technology could take us to a better place, but equally has the potential to take us to a pretty dark place.”

While Prasad highlighted that programming CBDC for economic or social policies could affect the integrity of central banks, European Central Bank president Christine Lagarde recently explained that programmability would be left to commercial banks.

“For us [central banks], the issuance of a digital currency that would be central bank money would not be programmable […] Those who can associate the use of digital currency with programmability would be the intermediaries — would be the commercial banks” - Christine Lagarde, BIS Innovation Summit, March 2023

Speaking at the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Innovation Summit in March, Lagarde told her fellow panelists that a central bank would not be in charge of programming a digital currency.

“For us [central banks], the issuance of a digital currency that would be central bank money would not be programmable — would not be associated with any particular limitation, whether it’s in time, in type of use — that to me would be a voucher. It wouldn’t be a digital currency,” said Lagarde.

“Those who can associate the use of digital currency with programmability would be the intermediaries — would be the commercial banks.

“And that’s their business. They know how to do that, but if we are to say that a dollar is a dollar, whether it is cash or digital; or a euro is a euro, cash or digital — then for us [central bank] it cannot be programmable.

“It can be associated with conditionality, which is different, but not programmable,” she added.

Speaking at a high-level roundtable on CBDC in Washington, DC in October 2022, International Monetary Fund (IMF) deputy managing director and former People’s Bank of China (PBoC) deputy governor Bo Li said of CBDC programmability:

“CBDC can allow government agencies and private sector players to program — to create smart contracts — to allow targeted policy functions. For example, welfare payment; for example, consumption coupons; for example, food stamps.”

“By programming CBDC, those money can be precisely targeted for what kind of people can own and what kind of use this money can be utilized,” he added.

So, while Lagarde says that central banks have no interest in programming CBDCs, central banks around the world are indeed exploring programmability, even if the central banks themselves are not the ones doing the actual programming.

For example, the Reserve Bank of India is exploring a programmable CBDC with expiry dates.

And in Nigeria, “The individual and merchant wallets of the eNaira have different caps on daily transaction limits and the amount of eNaira that can be held in them, depending on their customer due diligence tier,” according to the BIS November 2022 report on CBDCs in Africa.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang opened the conference, acknowledging global challenges and warning about future public health crises.
Saudi Arabia has sent a top delegation to the event, reflecting the importance of its oil trade relationship with China.

The Chinese city of Tianjin is buzzing with activity. C-suite executives, government officials, and media members from all over the world have made their way to attend the first in-person World Economic Forum, or WEF, event in China since the pandemic began.

The WEF's three-day "Summer Davos" will see over 1,500 participants discuss topics centered around "Entrepreneurship: The driving force of the global economy."

The port city of Tianjin, home to 14 million people, welcomed the participants with big billboards on the main highway. Local Chinese residents welcomed "foreigners" to their neighborhoods, and food stalls were in action selling local delicacies including dumplings, noodles, and bao buns.

Chinese Premier Li Qiang welcomed the delegates and officially opened the conference on Tuesday. "The world is standing at a historical crossroads," Li said, adding that global challenges are escalating and regional conflicts keep coming up.

While Li's speech welcomed the return of in-person meetings, he also said COVID-19 will not be the last public health crisis.

Meanwhile, inside the conference center, the handshakes have begun, deals are being struck, and money has started to move around.

Saudi Arabia has sent a top delegation to China's Summer Davos this year. According to the Financial Times, the 24-member delegation includes six ministers and several vice-ministers.

The presence of Saudi ministers is of particular interest to President Xi Jinping. With oil trade between the two nations standing at $55.5 billion as of 2022, the Kingdom is now China's largest oil supplier.

While the day will be spent discussing everything from the state of the global economy to conflicts to AI, it's the evenings that the delegates are eyeing.

"I can't wait for the wine to start flowing. That's when the real money also starts to flow," a delegate said.

The climate change boondoggle acts as a mechanism for all kinds of social, economic and political changes that could greatly diminish the freedom and financial survival of the average person.

As the world witnessed with the covid pandemic, global institutions working with governments and corporations are happy to hype up false threats and inspire public hysteria if they think they can use that rising fear to whittle away our individual rights. The hype over “greenhouse emissions” is no exception.

The vast majority of climate and carbon policies appear to be aimed at the west, and this is one of the reasons why we know the claims behind them are fake. China alone accounts for around 32% of all global carbon emissions, with the US accounting for only 14% and the EU accounting for around 8%. Yet, think-tanks like the World Economic Forum and globalist havens like the UN are hyperfocused on the US and Europe while China does as it pleases.

Why? Perhaps because the Chinese population is already well under control and there is no need to use climate fear as a weapon to subdue them? In any case, the greenhouse gas issue is superfluous because there is zero evidence of a causation relationship between carbon emissions and global warming. Even the evidence of correlation is highly suspect. And, if you ask any climate alarmist where there is proof of the “climate crisis” they always rant about, they will predictably point to normal weather events (or wildfires) which have been common since human records started.

We have been hearing a lot lately about efforts to diminish or ban natural gas stoves in the US, to throttle agricultural production in Europe and to restrict meat in the public diet, but the most pervasive carbon restrictions are planned for cars and private transportation. The WEF has recently published a blueprint for reducing individual car ownership by 75% by the year 2050.

The white paper, titled 'Benchmarking the Transition to Sustainable Urban Mobility' establishes various guidelines for shifting the majority of the human population over to mass transportation within compact “smart cities.” The WEF also suggests that over 70% of all people will have to live in these smart cities by 2050 – Currently, 45% of the world lives in rural areas, requiring another 15% of the population to be forced into cities in the next couple decades. Not only that, but 2nd and 3rd tier cities would have to be combined into single homogenized networks. In other words, megacities.

The WEF transportation agenda demands that out of over 2 billion car owners, 1.5 billion people will lose the option of personal transportation. That would leave only 500 million people in the world with the “privilege” of owning a vehicle.

Also keep in mind that the UN also wants net zero carbon emissions by 2050, which means no more gas powered vehicles in the next 25 years.

The WEF paper is awash in meaningless buzzwords covering “equity and inclusion” rhetoric as well as “sustainable development goals” and “stakeholder capitalism” terminology. Reading between the lines is necessary to understand the implications.

To summarize, transportation reduction is an extension of something called Shared, Electric and Automated Mobility (SEAM) Governance Framework, as well as net zero urban planning initiatives. By taking away people's cars, this forces the populace into smaller and smaller areas where mass transportation is available. These extremely concentrated population regions will be digitally connected and monitored by AI, with unprecedented surveillance measures and the government ability to centralize and dictate public movements, public power usage, public access to food and even public behavior.

All of this is sold as a trade off for Utopian convenience and security, when in reality it means the end of freedom as we know it. China has been acting as a beta test country for these measures, with the some of the largest smart city designs and surveillance grids in the world.

We know that the goal of deconstructing private transport is to herd people into increasingly more compact and oppressive cities, but how would a reduction of car ownership of this scale be accomplished?

Through a series of carbon regulations and inflation in prices. Carbon taxes will be used to make purchasing and maintaining a gas vehicle untenable, and inflation in prices of electric vehicles will mean only the wealthy class will be able to buy them. In this way, the establishment can argue that they “never banned cars,” they just created the economic conditions that forced most of the population to abandon personal ownership.

Once we examine net zero projects as a whole entity instead of just the pieces and parts, it becomes clear that these plans have nothing to do with saving the environment and the planet and everything to do with centralization of power.

A top official with the World Economic Forum (WEF) has called for religious scripture to be “rewritten” by artificial intelligence (AI) to create a globalized “new Bible.”

Yuval Noah Harari, the senior advisor to the WEF and its chairman Klaus Schwab, argues that using AI to replace scriptures will create unified “religions that are actually correct.”

Harari, an influential author and professor, made the call while giving a talk on the “future of humanity.”

According to Harari, the power of AI can be harnessed and used to reshape spirituality into the WEF’s globalist vision of “equity” and inclusivism.

Speaking with journalist Pedro Pinto in Lisbon, Portugal, Harari told the elitist audience:

“It’s the first technology ever that can create new ideas.

“You know, the printing press, radio, television, they broadcast, they spread the ideas created by the human brain, by the human mind.

“They cannot create a new idea.

“You know, [Johannes] Gutenberg printed the Bible in the middle of the 15th century; the printing press printed as many copies of the Bible as Gutenberg instructed it, but it did not create a single new page.

“It had no ideas of its own about the Bible: Is it good? Is it bad? How to interpret this? How to interpret that?”

Harari then revealed that he and his allies at the WEF have a solution to the supposed problems he’d just highlighted.

“AI can create new ideas; [it] can even write a new Bible,” he declared.

“Throughout history, religions dreamt about having a book written by a superhuman intelligence, by a non-human entity,” he added.

“In a few years, there might be religions that are actually correct … just think about a religion whose holy book is written by an AI.

“That could be a reality in a few years.”

Harari noted in another recent gathering that software like ChatGPT has mastered human languages and can harness that function to influence culture, the Times of Israel said.

“For thousands of years, prophets and poets and politicians have used language and storytelling in order to manipulate and to control people and to reshape society,” he said, according to the paper.

“Now AI is likely to be able to do it.

“And once it can… it doesn’t need to send killer robots to shoot us.

“It can get humans to pull the trigger.”

Harari also said that “contrary to what some conspiracy theories assume, you don’t really need to implant chips in people’s brains in order to control them or to manipulate them,” the paper noted.

He also warned that “we need to act quickly before AI gets out of our control” and that “governments must immediately ban the release into the public domain of any more revolutionary AI tools before they are made safe,” the paper added.

Harari frequently pushes ideas that involve humanity being replaced by machines.

As Slay News previously reported, Harari gloated last year that “we just don’t need the vast majority of the population” in today’s world.

According to Harari, most of the general public has now become “redundant” and will be of little use to the global elite in the future.

Harari argues that modern technologies like artificial intelligence “make it possible to replace the people.”

“If you go back to the middle of the 20th century — and it doesn’t matter if you’re in the United States with Roosevelt, or if you’re in Germany with Hitler, or even in the USSR with Stalin — and you think about building the future, then your building materials are those millions of people who are working hard in the factories, in the farms, the soldiers,” Harari said.

“You need them.

“Now, fast forward to the early 21st century when we just don’t need the vast majority of the population,” he added.

“The future is about developing more and more sophisticated technology, like artificial intelligence [and] bioengineering.

“Most people don’t contribute anything to that, except perhaps for their data, and whatever people are still doing which is useful, these technologies increasingly will make redundant and will make it possible to replace the people.”

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has warned that the employment landscape will change drastically over the next five years amid increasingly widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI), the transition to green energy, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, and slower economic growth.

According to WEF’s “The Future of Jobs Report 2023,” roughly 23 percent of jobs are expected to change by 2027, with around 69 million new jobs to be created and 83 million eliminated, resulting in a decrease of 14 million jobs, or 2 percent of current employment.

The report (pdf) surveyed 803 companies collectively employing more than 11.3 million workers in 27 industry clusters and 45 economies from across the globe, on macro and technology trends and their impact on jobs and skills, as well as the “workforce transformation strategies” that businesses plan to implement between now and 2027.

It found that clerical or secretarial roles, including bank tellers, cashiers and ticket clerks, data entry clerks, postal service clerks, and administrative and executive secretaries will likely see the fastest decline in roles over the next five years relative to their size today, with roughly 26 million fewer jobs by 2027.

Meanwhile, certain tech jobs, including those focused on AI and machine learning, sustainability specialists, business intelligence analysts, information security specialists, and fintech engineers, are expected to see an increase in employment.

Overall, the biggest job growth will likely be seen across the fields of education (10 percent, leading to 3 million additional jobs), agriculture (30 percent, or 3 million additional jobs), and digital commerce and trade (4 million additional jobs), according to the report.

Renewable Energy, ESG Pushing Job Changes

The WEF cites trends such as the transition to renewable energy, ESG standards—which are used by companies in the investment decision-making process to measure sustainable and ethical impacts—advancing technology adoption, and localization of supply chains as the “leading drivers of job growth,” while economic challenges such as ongoing high inflation, slower economic growth, and supply shortages pose “the greatest threat” to job creation.

“The largest job creation and destruction effects come from environmental, technology, and economic trends. Among the macro trends listed, businesses predict the strongest net job-creation effect to be driven by investments that facilitate the green transition of businesses, the broader application of ESG standards, and supply chains becoming more localized, albeit with job growth offset by partial job displacement in each case,” the report states.

U.S. Republican lawmakers have repeatedly warned that companies embracing ESG standards risk slashing investment returns and hampering economic growth, which could have ripple effects across the economy.

“Climate change adaptation and the demographic dividend in developing and emerging economies also rate high as net job creators,” the WEF report adds. “Technological advancement through increased adoption of new and frontier technologies and increased digital access are expected to drive job growth in more than half of surveyed companies, offset by expected job displacement in one-fifth of companies,” it continues.

The report also cites the increasing cost of living for consumers as another factor that will likely pose the greatest threat to the job market in the next five years and will significantly displace jobs.

Firms ‘Need to Be Ready for the Disruptions Ahead’

Elsewhere, the WEF found that the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, increased geopolitical divisions, and demographic dividends in developing and emerging economies ranked lower as drivers of business evolution by respondents.

The latest report comes shortly after Goldman Sachs economists forecast two-thirds of occupations across America could be partially automated by AI, which has exploded in use in recent years, despite concerns over its potential risks to society and humanity.

However, economists also noted that its use in both business and society could lead to an almost $7 trillion increase in global GDP owing to increased productivity and manufacturing, among other factors.

According to the WEF report, nearly 75 percent of companies surveyed plan to adopt AI, big data, and cloud computing within the next five years, which around 50 percent of firms believe will create job growth and 25 percent expect will lead to job losses.

Elsewhere, the report found that organizations estimate roughly 34 percent of all business-related tasks are currently performed by machines, with the remaining 66 percent performed by humans.

“The latest findings in the Future of Jobs Report renew calls for action from all labor market stakeholders,” said Sander van ‘t Noordende, CEO of the human resource consulting firm, Randstad.

“Acceleration in digitalization, AI, and automation are creating tremendous opportunities for the global workforce, but employers, governments, and other organizations need to be ready for the disruptions ahead. By collectively offering greater skilling resources, more efficiently connecting talent to jobs, and advocating for a well-regulated labor market, we can protect and prepare workers for a more specialized and equitable future of work,” he added.

One of the recent proposals to come out of the World Economic Forum (WEF) is to develop ways to harvest and monetize satellite data, biological data, and citizen-generated data.

Penned by MIT Media Lab research engineer Minoo Rathnasabapathy and Helen Burdett, who heads WEF’s Technology Strategy, and posted on the group’s website, the proposal calls for putting all this spuriously collected, in the first place, data – “to good use” now.

We’re talking points here, such as “sustainable development” (the supposed advocacy in mainstream media and informal global cabals such as WEF hardly ever goes into any useful detail, and beyond lip service – nothing other than what serves the “grand narrative”).

The idea, apparently, is to harness Earth satellite observation data – and services in a way that would help “sustainable development” in unforeseen ways, outside of “just” the scientific community.

At this point, the bigger the bogus theory, the more people believe it, which must be WEF’s hope. Otherwise, why speak about this as a good thing – a combination with geo-referenced data, and a way that anything good might come out of combining that to tackle social and economic issues?

Be that as it may, here we are again, and media perception seems to be the king: let’s all think, and more importantly, talk about April 22, “Earth Day,” the WEF post suggested earlier in the month.

These days, we are supposed to disregard the real danger of a global war and instead focus on how to best (ab)use all that Earth data apparently just “lying around.”

Well, that’s WEF’s argument, and we love our WEF musings, like this: let’s make use of allegedly over 100 terabytes of satellite imagery data harvested each day by the European Union Agency for the Space Program, for the purpose of combining it with geo-referenced data given access to by experts, and those who are not.
