(LifeSiteNews) — “It’s absolutely true” that infanticide happens, a Catholic medical ethicist confirmed to Tucker Carlson recently.

It happens not only in the “abortion context” but with other individuals whom medical professionals deem unworthy of trying to save, Charles Camosy said during an interview posted on October 3. Carlson had asked him in the context of the 2024 presidential election and Donald Trump’s statements that Tim Walz and Kamala Harris support infanticide.

Professor Camosy teaches at Creighton University’s medical school. He frequently writes and comments on bioethical issues.

Doctors will slowly kill off babies, often those who are disabled, through “slow coding” or “show coding,” Camosy said. They ignore the wishes of the parents in doing so.

Tim Walz, the Democratic governor of Minnesota, has signed legislation that allows medical practitioners to deny life-saving care to babies who survive abortions, which is a form of infanticide.

Carlson questioned how it is not a crime to slowly kill off babies.

Camosy said it “should be a crime.”

He distinguished this from an adult making the conscious decision to forego chemotherapy or other extraordinary interventions. With infanticide or “slow coding,” the patient, being a baby, has no say in the matter.

Parents will also be pressured to abort babies who may have Down syndrome, Professor Camosy said.

He told Carlson:

Quote:We call it “comfort care” again. But let me give you another example of how this works. Sometimes, and very often, parents are encouraged to have abortions in these cases where they choose not to, they push back on the medical team, like if there’s a Down syndrome diagnosis, for instance, prenatally. The medical teams, this is well documented, will push them time and time again to have abortions, even very pro-life, very prenatal justice focused parents get bombarded by medical teams again.

Carlson said he has “lived” through that, alluding to a “false diagnosis” in his family.

Doctors have ways to kill off babies even when the parents refuse abortions, Camosy warned.

He shared a story of a baby born with spina bifida. “These teams will get so frustrated that they’ll say, okay, we can’t convince you to have an abortion,” Camosy said. “There’s still things we can do after birth,” under the guise of “comfort care,” according to the medical ethicist, that will lead to death.

“Isn’t that the opposite of your job?” Carlson asked Camosy, wondering how a doctor could remain in the profession if he pushes parents to kill their children.

‘Medical establishment’ embraces ‘Nazi eugenics’

Carlson and Camosy drew parallels between today’s medical practices to not only the pre-Christian west, such as discarding babies in Greece and Rome, but also Nazi Germany.

In fact, while doctors may consider themselves “anti-Nazi,” according to Carlson, they embrace the same eugenics practices of the Nazis.

The conservative commentator said:

Quote:And I just find it so interesting that we spend a lot of time 80 years later talking about the Nazis. And obviously the Nazis are bad. Everyone agrees with that very much, including me. But the one thing that we almost never mention is that before they started rounding up other populations, the Nazis killed hundreds of thousands – about 300,000 – Germans in hospitals. The disabled children, a lot of them had ‘comfort care,’ but it was murder, and we never talk about that for some reason. And it’s sort of weird to see the American medical establishment, which I think thinks of itself as anti-Nazi, it’s weird to see them embrace Nazi eugenics policy, because that’s exactly what they’re doing.

“At the early stages of life, yes,” Camosy confirmed, calling abortion a “sacred cow” to the medical establishment.

However, there is a “little more hope” with “end of life” issue, Camosy said, pointing out that the American Medical Association still opposes assisted suicide. However, as he noted, there are regular efforts to reverse this opposition.

Later, Carlson questioned why Down syndrome advocacy groups don’t say more about the “genocide” against their own people.

“I think they should be ashamed of their cowardice,” Carlson said. “But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t great disability rights groups.”

Camosy said he is hopeful disability rights groups can be brought further into the pro-life movement, as they have been effective opponents of assisted suicide and euthanasia.

‘The idea of fundamental human equality is dying’

Camosy warned “[t]he idea of fundamental human equality is dying.”

He pointed out a variety of troubling trends in how society is moving away from “fundamental human equality.”

He said:

Quote:We’re no longer on the trajectory of trying to live this idea out more consistently. We are now in a very different trajectory. People are losing their fundamental equality. We are thinking less about how to do this and more about, well, is it really being human that matters at the end of the day? Maybe it’s about autonomy, maybe it’s about rationality, maybe it’s about self-awareness. Maybe it’s about IQ. I’ve heard more and more people talking about IQ recently in ways that I find sort of disturbing, especially given what you said about Nazi Germany. And so, once you move away from fundamental human equality, you’re left with these trait x’s, I call them.

Carlson shared his own view of equality.

“God doesn’t care what your IQ is. It has nothing to do with whether or not you have a soul,” he said. “You have a soul because you’re a human being.”

“Your soul is identical in value to mine. You may have an IQ twice mine,” he said. “You may be three times as rich as me. It doesn’t matter. None of that matters. Just to be clear about my view on this.”

‘Brain death’ contributes to dehumanization

Camosy said the concept of “brain death,” which was developed in the 1960s, has contributed to the dehumanization. He referenced a committee from Harvard University that suggested individuals on ventilators have “brain death,” which will allow for organ harvesting.

The Harvard medical school dean opposed this proposal, according to Camosy, pointing out the guidelines were being pushed just to harvest organs. “And so they changed the document. But it’s still, even with the edited document, it’s very clear, and this is historically well known, that this is what happened,” Camosy said.

However, people with “brain death” are clearly alive, since these individuals can still gestate, for example. “They can fight off infections. If you cut into their body, they release adrenaline, and their heart rate speeds up,” Camosy said.

‘We should have reverence for death itself’

Later on in the interview, the pair continued discussing death, particularly in the context of war.

Carlson said:

Quote:I’m probably make myself super unpopular for saying this, but I remember when Osama bin Laden got shot to death and I hated Osama bin Laden. He killed a friend of mine. Actually, I’m not for Osama bin Laden, but I thought…When someone dies, we should have reverence for death itself. I mean, we can be happy that someone who is attacking us is gone and the threat is gone. I think that’s worth celebrating. But we should never feel glee watching a human soul be extinguished. I just don’t. I think that’s a really ugly habit to get into. And it diminishes us and turns us into monsters. It turns us into Osama bin Laden-type people.

Shortly after, Camosy asked if a “revival” could be happening, asking Carlson about his experience traveling around the country recently.

“Do we see other human beings as fellow human beings, as people with souls whose lives inherently matter, whether we like them or the life they’re living or not… how do we see ourselves?” Carlson asked.

“Do you really believe you have the right to kill someone, except in self-defense?… Only God has that power,” Carlson said.

He said “rapid technological advances” in the past 80 years have led to a “hollow culture” where people “think they’re God.” The “recognition” of this problem is leading to a “spiritual yearning” and a “kind of revival,” Carlson said.

Some ethicists gave in to ‘fear’ with the COVID jabs

The pair discussed several other topics at the end of the interview, including bodily autonomy when it comes to refusing the abortion-tainted COVID jabs as well as the cultural harms of contraception.

“Anyone who forces a vaccine on somebody, by definition, is not respecting patient autonomy,” Carlson said. “If I’m telling you you’re required by law to put some drug in your body that you don’t want, how am I treating you as a human being? I’m treating you as my slave, as a subhuman.”

Camosy agreed there is a disconnect between people who support “autonomy” for so-called “reproductive rights” – i.e. the destruction of unborn babies in abortion – but not the jabs.

Asked by Carlson what ethicists said at the time, Camosy said many were taken in “by fear.”

“Don’t we have ethicists precisely for the moments that are ruled by fear?… When we lack a clear consensus on the right direction and when our judgment is muddled by panic, that’s exactly the moment we need clear thinking ethicists, correct?” Carlson asked, laughing at how many were “swept away” during the panic.

Camosy said “conscience is the place where you meet God in the most profound way.”

“We ought to respect people’s conscience rights to choose not to take the vaccine,” Camosy said. “But it’s so interesting that those arguments sort of evaporated in light of all that fear.”

Carlson then shared how he had noticed the supporters of birth control were the same ones pushing other “anti-fertility” positions. He has previously criticized birth control, as reported by LifeSiteNews.

He said:

Quote:The reason I’ve had cause to rethink all this is because I’ve noticed that almost every major push from the public health community and certainly from our politicians is anti-fertility. That’s what they’re focused on. It’s the one right you possess is the ‘right’ to have an abortion. That’s the only. You don’t have the right to speak freely, to have control of your own money, to gather with like-minded people, to protest or petition your government, none of those rights still exist.

“The only right you have is the ‘right’ to end your pregnancy and of course to prevent it in the first place through birth control,” he said rhetorically. “And I just, I’m sensing a theme where I’m not a genius, but I have noticed that the thread that connects all of their main concerns is the same and is they don’t want you to have kids. And why is that?” he asked.

Camosy pointed out that women do want to have more kids but have fewer. There could be economic factors at play, Camosy suggested.

Carlson pointed out that leftist Senator Elizabeth Warren “wrote a wonderful book” about the “two-income trap.” This is the idea that consumerism and women in the workplace has driven up the cost of goods, which means families feel like both parents then have to work, which continues the cycle.

People want to “be with their own children,” Carlson said.

Camosy said the “two-income trap” is embedded in our society.

Carlson denounced it as “so rotten and anti-human,” adding, “It’s denying people the true source of joy.”

Planned Parenthood now a top provider of transgender hormones after Roe

The curtains have been pulled back on America’s top abortion provider: Planned Parenthood’s business model now offers “gender-affirming health care,” including prescribing life-altering hormone injections to children as young as 16.

According to Planned Parenthood itself, the abortion company has inched its way to becoming the second-largest provider of hormonal injections in America.

Experts across the political spectrum — including both religious and non-religious perspectives — warn this development is dangerous, as the number of transgender-identifying youth continues to rise nationally.

Planned Parenthood prescribes ‘masculinizing’ and ‘feminizing’ injections

Planned Parenthood providing transgender services isn’t necessarily anything new, as pro-life groups and independent journalists such as Abigail Shrier have reported in the past.

In a piece published this week, Students for Life of America president Kristan Hawkins highlighted Planned Parenthood’s escalated focus on transitioning children with gender dysphoria.

The record reveals some shocking statistics, according to Planned Parenthood’s own materials.

Currently, over 200 Planned Parenthoods around the country offer transgender services, mostly in the form of self-injectable “feminizing” or “masculinizing” hormones, and puberty blockers at some locations.

Youth as young as 16 can receive hormone prescriptions at some locations with parental consent; those 15 and younger can get birth control “to stop periods” without the knowledge of their parents.

Teens 18 and older who want to medically transition can typically do so without any barriers. Planned Parenthood states that “in most cases your clinician will be able to prescribe hormones the same day as your first visit” and does not require a letter from a mental health doctor to start a patient’s transition.

Devastating side effects of hormonal injections

Patients typically self-inject hormones like testosterone or estrogen under the skin to increase characteristics that make them appear more feminine or masculine.

For example, a boy seeking to transition into a girl might be prescribed estrogen or spironolactone injections that will “feminize” his appearance.

A girl who wants to transition into a boy would be prescribed testosterone injections.

Dr. Meg Meeker, a Catholic pediatrician and author, told CNA that “there is no solid evidence found through solid medical research that [hormones and other gender-affirming procedures] actually help children.”

“We do know, however, that many times it harms children — by causing infertility, psychological distress and confusion,” she said.

Planned Parenthood itself admits that these hormones can cause severe and sometimes permanent side effects in patients.

In literature explaining the risks of estrogen injections, for example, Planned Parenthood says expected side effects include thinning hair, decreased sex drive, loss in muscle mass and strength, and possibly permanent infertility.

The side effects of testosterone include similar impacts: changes to sex drive, loss of fertility, increased body hair, redistribution of body fat, and stopped periods, according to Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood major player in transgender services
More than 35,000 patients received gender-affirming hormones from Planned Parenthood in 2021 alone, according to an NPR report.

That number doesn’t include other transgender services the abortion chain promises patients.

Planned Parenthood also connects patients with surgery referrals and helps patients change their names, find hair-removal options, get free breast binders, and change their voices.

Ashley Coffield, the chief executive officer of the Planned Parenthood of Tennessee and North Mississippi, said in an interview with NPR this summer that abortion clinics are particularly well-suited to providing transgender services.

“Both are stigmatized services,” she said in the interview. “The same values we use in abortion care — like self-determination, respect, and a nonjudgmental approach to health care — translate really easily into serving our gender-affirming hormone care patients.”

Planned Parenthood did not respond to CNA’s repeated requests for comment.

Ringing the alarm bell on Planned Parenthood’s new ‘business model’

Top pro-life leaders and activists against transitioning kids say that Planned Parenthood’s pivot to gender services in the wake of Roe being overturned is “no surprise.”

“It’s no surprise that, as its abortion business declines, Planned Parenthood is seeking new ways to pump its profits and further its ideological goals,” Mary Rice Hasson, director of the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s (EPPC) Person & Identity Project, told CNA.

“They are exploiting the very same young people as before, but with a different product.”

Hasson says that Planned Parenthood may position their new gender services as a way to serve patients’ needs, “but they are not fooling anyone.”

“Their business is death and destruction, and their business model thrives on the exploitation of vulnerable young people for profit,” she said.

Activist Scott Nugent transitioned at the age of 42 and is the founder of TReVoices, an organization of activists from all backgrounds who advocate against “trans-ing” children.

“It’s a business model, all business,” Nugent told CNA. “It has nothing to do with human rights. It is just 100%, year-over-year profit. ‘How can we make money?’”

“[Transitioning] doesn’t fix anything,” Nugent emphasized. “But if you say it does and doctor all these studies, what happens? Well, it’s a new trillion-dollar industry.”

Nugent says that TReVoices, de-transitioners, and others have been banned from Twitter and social media for speaking out about the harmful effects of hormone injections and other transition procedures.

TReVoices, for example, points to studies showing that people who take synthetic hormones experience bone density issues, severe heart problems, stunted brain development, and display higher rates of suicide, among other complications.

“All the people trying to tell people this are being silenced,” Nugent added.

Samantha Stephenson, host of the bioethics podcast Brave New Us and author of “Reclaiming Motherhood from a Culture Gone Mad,” says that Planned Parenthood’s move to supply transgender hormones is an “attack on the family.”

“Why is it that the only thing Planned Parenthood helps people to do is avoid becoming parents?” she asked, adding that offering hormone injections “ultimately exposes this propaganda and rhetoric for what it is.”

“Instead of enabling people to build families, these treatments rob patients of their natural abilities to do so,” she said.

Stephenson urged Catholics to remember to arm themselves with prayer, fasting, and the rosary in response.

“We need to be praying for the conversion of the souls who work at Planned Parenthood,” she said, “for their intellectual enlightenment about what it actually is that they are contributing to, for the formation of their consciences to recognize their work as moral evil, and that they have the freedom and courage to denounce this organization and expose the evils its perpetrating as many already have.”

Boland: “If someone is raised hardcore Catholic, it’s like, they’re brainwashed -- you can never change their mindset.”
Boland: “For one position, I think we had 30 applicants. So out of all those applicants, I don’t think I interviewed anybody over the [age] of 30…the older you get, the more set in your ways -- the more conservative you get.”
Connecticut Law, Section 46A-60B1, specifically bars discriminatory employment practices. A violation occurs if anyone refuses to hire or employ people “because of the individual’s race, color, religious creed, age, sex, gender identity or expression.”

[Greenwich, Conn. – Aug. 30, 2022] Project Veritas released the first video in its newly launched Education Series today exposing a senior official at a prominent public school.

Jeremy Boland, who serves as Cos Cob Elementary School’s Assistant Principal, was recorded bragging about how he oversees the hiring of teachers who will disseminate “progressive” political ideas in the classrooms:

Quote:Boland: You’re teaching them [children] how to think. That’s it. It doesn’t matter what they think about. If they think about it in a logical progressive way, that becomes their habit.

Veritas Journalist: So, you kind of like, gear them to think in a more liberal way?

Boland: Mm-hmm. Believe it or not, the open minded, more progressive teachers are actually more savvy about delivering a Democratic message without really ever having to mention politics.

The school administrator noted it is difficult to terminate an employed teacher, so his focus is on who to onboard next:

Quote:Boland: Remember that teacher I was talking about before? The forty-year-old? I’ll never change that teacher.

Veritas Journalist: You’re what?

Boland: I’ll never be able to change that teacher.

Veritas Journalist: Which one?

Boland: The conservative one, who is stuck in her ways. I’ll never be able to fire her, and I’ll never be able to change her. So, I make an impact with the next teacher I hire. So, my instinct for hiring -- I’ve hired maybe four or five people. They’re pretty good.

Veritas Journalist: Okay.

Boland: So, that’s where I make my impact.

He explains to the Veritas journalist how the teachers he hires will advance his political and ideological objectives:

Quote:Boland: So, it's subtle. They [teachers I hire] will never say, “Oh, this is [a] liberal or a Democratic way of doing this.” They'll just make that the norm. And this is how we handle things, it's subtle.

Veritas Journalist: And that's how you get away with it?

Boland: That's how you get away with it.

Veritas Journalist: And how do you make sure the parents don't find out?

Boland: They can find out, so long as you never mention [the] politics of it.

The Assistant Principal is clear about how he judges a prospective teacher who sympathizes, in a hypothetical scenario, with parents during the interview process:

Quote:Veritas Journalist: Okay, so someone sides with the parent, then what?

Boland: You let them explain, and then you move on to the next question.

Veritas Journalist: But then eventually [what is] the outcome of that?

Boland: They don’t get the job.

Transgender ideology in school was also an issue discussed in the video. It has been a controversial topic, especially amongst parents, in recent years.

On this matter, Boland affirms that any teacher who refuses to acknowledge a child’s gender preferences has no place in his Elementary School.

“So, if you have someone [teacher] who is hardcore religious or hardcore conservative, they will probably say something detrimental to the effect, ‘Well, I don’t think kids have enough knowledge to make that decision [gender identity] at this age,’” Boland said.

“You’re out. You’re done,” he concluded.

Boland admitted to the Veritas journalist that he discriminates against potential hires based on their religion:

Quote:Boland: I’m not a huge expert on religion, but Protestants in this area [of Connecticut] are probably the most liberal. But if they’re Catholic -- conservative.

Veritas Journalist: Oh, so then what do you do with the Catholics? If you find out someone is Catholic, then what?

Boland: You don’t hire them.

Veritas Journalist: So, would you ever hire a Catholic then?

Boland: No, I don’t want to…Because if someone is raised hardcore Catholic, it’s like they’re brainwashed. You can never change their mindset. So, when you ask them to consider something new, like a new opportunity, or “you have to think about this differently,” they’re stuck -- just rigid.

The Elementary School administrator goes on to say that he discriminates against older individuals as well.

“I need younger [teachers]. So, because Greenwich pays very well, you get teachers from other districts who have been there for a long time, that want to come to Greenwich. But if they’re older, I’m not allowed to do that -- I can’t tell them, ‘I’m not interviewing you because you’re older.’ I just don’t interview them. So, for one position, I think we had 30 applicants. So out of all those applicants, I don’t think I interviewed anybody over the [age] of 30…Because sometimes the older you get, the more set in your ways, the more conservative you get.”

Dr. Peterson Pierre is warning expecting mothers to “look out” for their own kids, since the CDC is not changing their COVID shot recommendations, despite the spike in preborn deaths.

(LifeSiteNews) — One of America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) is warning pregnant women that the COVID jab rollout has coincided with a nearly 2,000 percent increase in fetal deaths, as compared to the rate during previous vaccines.

In a “Frontline Flash” segment entitled “Huge Preborn Death Spike” released Monday, Dr. Peterson Pierre presented statistics showing that the rate of fetal death per vaccine administered in the U.S. had, in fact, massively increased since the COVID shots were made available.

Pierre noted that according to the CDC, since the COVID shot rollout, there have been 550,000,000 shots administered, and 3,725 fetal deaths. This means, he pointed out, that for every 147,651 shots, there has been one fetal death.

He contrasted this with statistics from the period between 2006 and 2019. During this time, there were reportedly “4 billion shots administered,” and “1,369 fetal deaths, which equals to” one fetal death for about every 3 million shots.

“So if you do the math, you realize that since the COVID shots have been available, there’s been a 1,925 percent increase in fetal deaths,” he continued.

Pierre then urged expecting mothers to take heed of these numbers, for the sake of their children.

“Now, expecting moms, it doesn’t matter what the FDA or the CDC says. It doesn’t even matter what your doctor says,” he went on. “Because in spite of this data, the recommendation to get [COVID] shots has not changed.”

“You need to look out for your own kids. You are their protector. You have a lot to think about. That decision rests with you, not with anyone else.”

A stunning 23 of 32 pregnancies during which mothers received a Pfizer COVID shot resulted in “spontaneous abortions” (miscarriages), according to Pfizer and the FDA’s forced response to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (32 is the number of pregnancies with known outcomes according to reports given to Pfizer), as was reported last year.

Regarding the effect of the COVID shots on “fertility problems,” the CDC has acknowledged that “results from ongoing long-term studies are not yet available.”

Medical experts have warned expecting mothers against receiving the mRNA shots, including vaccine expert Pamela Acker, and former Pfizer vice president Dr. Michael Yeadon, who told LifeSite that women of childbearing age, especially pregnant and nursing women, should entirely reject the COVID-19 gene therapy vaccines.

“You never ever give inadequately tested medicines, medicinal products, to a pregnant woman,” he stated.

Despite all this evidence of the danger the mRNA shot poses to the unborn, CDC guidelines currently recommend that “people aged 18-49 years with certain medical conditions, including pregnancy … may receive” an RNA COVID-19 shots, including a third booster dose, “based on their individual benefits and risks.”

“Good Housekeeping” Article Urges People Not to Have Children for Climate’s Sake

If you’re still under the delusion that the climate-change movement is not an anti-human, Malthusian religion whose tenets include that far fewer people on the Earth would be a good thing, consider a recent article in Good Housekeeping magazine entitled “The Biggest Thing Holding Me Back From Having Kids Is Climate Change.”

Written by Good Housekeeping senior editor Lizz Schumer, the article touches on Schumer’s and her husband’s anxiety about having children in what she termed “our rapidly warming planet.”

According to Schumer, after marriage, having children was once a foregone conclusion in her mind, even discussing how her husband purchased books about deciding when to have children. Like most young couples, having children just seemed a normal part of life — not a necessity, perhaps, but, certainly, something that most people did: create a family of their own.

Schumer explained, “When the decision felt mostly theoretical, I looked at kids the same way I did any other milestone: just another box I was expected to check along the path toward adulthood. But once it became a real possibility, I began to take stock of my place in the world and my responsibility to it.”

But the never-ending, ongoing, ubiquitous climate propaganda that we are all exposed to began to gnaw at the author and, supposedly, her husband as well.

“As we discussed having kids, Nick and I looked around at our overcrowded world and didn’t see a compelling argument to add to the population,” Schumer wrote.

Certainly, there are places on Earth that can be considered “overcrowded” — urban India; Mexico City; and Dhaka, Bangladesh, spring to mind. But is the world itself actually overcrowded? It’s one of those eye-of-the-beholder things, although the climate propagandists declare it a fact.

The article goes on to discuss climate anxiety — a malady that Psychology Today calls “an understandable reaction to one’s growing awareness of climate change and the global problems that result from damage to the ecosystem.”

It’s only “understandable” if one falls victim to the hype surrounding the issue.

Schumer discusses her own climate anxiety in vivid terms.

“For me, it’s a gathering dread as hurricane season grows longer and more intense, a pit of despair in my gut that yawns wider with every second the doomsday clock ticks down and a sense of foreboding that tells me bringing a child into this world would doom them to an existence that looks more like Mad Max: Fury Road than Sesame Street,” she writes.

“To us, it felt cruel to subject a child to what feels like a worsening world,” Schumer concluded.

Schumer’s fears are not due to reality. They are a product of believing climate propaganda. Hurricane seasons have not become longer or more intense. And the Doomsday Clock is nothing but the opinion of a fringe group of scientists struggling to maintain relevance in a post-Cold War world.

Good Housekeeping was once an American institution — seen in homes, doctors’ offices, and pretty much anywhere with a waiting room. It was a reliable source for household tips, recipes, and information on the latest diet fads. With this offering from Lizz Schumer, it has become yet another source of climate propaganda.

Articles such as this are especially troubling since we know that Schumer is not alone in her fear that mankind is destroying the climate. Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg has created her own cottage industry based on climate anxiety. Hollywood’s Leonardo DiCaprio makes ham-fisted metaphorical movies about it. Failed presidential candidate Al Gore has even won a Nobel Prize for his own contribution to the lie of impending climate disaster.

The fear of man-made climate change is pervasive and is preached from every public-school science class and every mainstream news source. It’s impossible to get away from it unless you do your own research and come to the realization that the climate change emperor has no clothes.

Schumer’s doubts about procreating are exactly what the climatistas are hoping for — a world full of anxious young people, ready to give up nearly every freedom, even having their own children, in exchange for a clean, livable planet where everyone’s needs can be met and everyone can be happy.

The sad thing for young people such as Schumer and her husband is that such a world will never exist whether they have children or not.

The event, titled ‘Satan Club’ held at Jane Addams Elementary School in Moline vowed to introduce children to “a scientific, rationalist, non-superstitious worldview.”

Satan club is intended for children from grades 1-5, meaning that presumed satanists are targeting kids as young as six years old.

A flier promoting the event, posted to Facebook by one parent, noted that all involved had been “vetted” by the Satanic Temple and had passed criminal background checks.

Well, that’s comforting then.

It also notes that “the Satanic Temple is a non-theistic religion that views Satan as a mythical figure representing individual freedom,” and that the club “does not attempt to convert children to any religious ideology.”

“Hey Kids, let’s have fun at After School Satan Club!” the flier states:

Yeah, no thanks.

FLANDERS, Belgium (LifeSiteNews) — A 2021 study of “end-of-life” decisions for “critically ill” Belgian newborns found that 24 infants were given lethal injections over the course of 15 months.

According to the study’s survey of all newborns who died in Flanders, Belgium between September 2016 and December 2017, 61 percent of the deceased infants had an “end-of-life (EOD) decision” preceding their death.

Of those 61 percent of infants, 10 percent were given medication with “explicit life shortening intention.” This contrasts with the 14 percent of infants who were given medication with “possible” life-shortening effect.

For another 12 percent of those infants subjected to EODs, the decision was made to withhold treatment from them. Twenty-five percent of those infants were subjected to the withdrawal of treatment. It’s unclear whether the decision to euthanize the infants was made by physicians, parents, or both.

While euthanasia is legal in Belgium, even for minors in some cases, euthanizing infants is illegal because legal euthanasia requires the minor to be “capable of discernment and conscious at the time of the request for euthanasia,” as the European Institute for Bioethics (EIB) noted.

Bioethics news source BioEdge reported, “Doctors who euthanized newborns with lethal injection indicated in 91% of the cases that the main reason for their action was that there was no hope of a ‘bearable future’ for the child.”

“In other words, these children had a real chance of survival, but the medical team — no doubt in agreement with their parents — considered that their lives were not worth living to the end,” BioEdge’s Michael Cook contiinued.

“Why do practitioners deviate from the legal framework when it comes to children who are unable to express themselves?” he continued.

The study, published in the Fetal and Neonatal edition of the Archives of Disease in Childhood (ADC) journal, used a survey that included anonymous questionnaires of doctors about which EODs were made for all death cases “identified through death certificates.”

BioEdge noted that “the proportion of newborns who died after a deliberate injection of a lethal drug seems to have increased from 7% to 10% since a survey conducted in 1999-2000 (before any euthanasia was legal).”

Palliative care doctor Ilora Finlay has explained that the reality of death by lethal injection defies the common notion that such deaths are “gentle” or “peaceful.”

According to Finlay, those given lethal injection “die by drowning when their lungs fill with fluid. Sometimes it takes five minutes for the person to die, but other times they can wake up again — and sometimes it takes 100 hours for death to arrive.”

“This isn’t a gentle, peaceful death. It just looks peaceful,” she said, “because they can’t move their muscles and they’re paralyzed.”

According to the study, “recent empirical information about” the practice of “life-shortening” EODs “is scarce.”

In 2014, Belgium became the first country to legalize assisted suicide for minors. The law allows minors with terminal illnesses who face “unbearable suffering” to receive euthanasia if their parents consent.

Alex Schadenberg, executive director of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition, has previously spoken to LifeSiteNews about the “slippery slope” of legalized euthanasia.

“Once you say it’s OK for the doctor to lethally inject you, the sky is the limit,” Schadenberg said. Once killing people is legally permitted, “then the only question is who? That’s all that’s left.”

“Recent Trends in Euthanasia and Other End-of-Life Practices in Belgium” reported in 2015 that 6.3% of Flanders’ deaths involved “physician-assisted death.” This term was defined as lethal injection at the request of the patient (“euthanasia”), assisted suicide, and “death without explicit request.” A full 12% were found to have died from “full continuous deep sedation until death,” which Wesley Smith has described as “a form of beneath-the-surface euthanasia.”

A book of writing prompts distributed to high school seniors included disturbing and sexually inappropriate suggestions which raised the ire of parents and the city’s mayor.

HUDSON, Ohio (LifeSiteNews - slightly adpated) — An Ohio mayor has advised an entire school board to quit or face criminal charges for distributing materials for high school students which a judge called “child pornography.”

The controversy stemmed from a book of writing prompts entitled “642 Things to Write About,” which was distributed to high school seniors at Hudson High School in northeast Ohio.

As reported by The Daily Wire, writing prompts from the book included “sexual content like, ‘write a [omitted] scene you wouldn’t show your mom,’ and ‘rewrite the [omitted] scene from above into one that you’d let your mom read.’”

Other disturbing prompts in the book, which was provided to students enrolled in a senior-level college credit course entitled “Writing in the Liberal Arts II”, offered in conjunction with Hiram College, included “You have a dream that you’ve murdered someone. Who is it, how and why did the murder happen, and what happens afterward?”

Another prompt asked writers to “Choose how you will die.”

In a school board meeting Monday, Mayor Craig Shubert, a Catholic who attends St. Mary Catholic Church in Hudson, told board members, “I’m going to give you a simple choice: either choose to resign from this board of education or you will be charged.”

Schubert, who kicked off his mayoral campaign in 2019 with an appeal to “common sense governance,” said at the board meeting that it had come to his attention “that your educators are distributing essentially what is child pornography in the classroom.”

The mayor added that he spoke with a judge that evening who “already confirmed” the characterization of the material as “pornography.”

Shubert’s ultimatum to the five members of the school board was met with enthusiastic applause from parents and others in attendance.

Although many of the “642” prompts appear to be innocuous, some are blatantly sexual or otherwise inappropriate.

Former teacher of 11 years Monica Havens, the mother of a high school senior who was provided with the material, listed off some of the objectionable prompts.

The book suggests writers choose to “write a letter from the point of view of a drug addict,” “write an X-rated Disney scenario,” describe “the first time you had [omitted],” or come up with “ten euphemisms for [omitted],” among other prompts which Havens suggested were inappropriate for high school age children.

“I can’t even wrap my brain around a teacher … I don’t care if it’s for college credit; these are minors,” Havens said.

Hudson High School Principal Brian Wilch admitted that the school made a mistake by distributing the material, saying that authorities within the school failed to “exercise our due diligence,” Cleveland.com reported.

“There are times we need to take a step back, reflect and get better,” Wilch said in the meeting, telling parents and other attendees that the school will do better moving forward to appropriately vet curriculum provided to high school students.

“We did not exercise our due diligence when we reviewed this resource and we overlooked several prompts that were not appropriate,” he said.

As reported by Cleveland.com, Hudson High School officially apologized to parents for the offensive material and said it is “working to collect the prompt books.”

Wilch said the school “felt terrible” about the incident, remarking that “you can’t unsee” the inappropriate prompts.

As reported by USA Today, Hudson High School Superintendent Phil Herman described the book as a “supplemental resource” and said it was quickly pulled after the district became aware of its racier content.

In a prepared statement, Herman said “[t]he district immediately determined this writing resource should not be in the hands of our students, and on Monday collected the books from the students enrolled in the course.”

Herman explained that the “inappropriate and offensive writing prompts” in the book were never selected to be “assigned as part of the class.”

With the offensive material now pulled from the classroom, the school board’s president of education David Zuro said in a statement that none of the school board members plan to resign following the mayor’s threat.

“While we respect the Mayor’s position within the City of Hudson, in accordance with the State laws of Ohio, the supervision of the public schools of this District is the responsibility of the Board of Education,” Zuro said in a statement obtained by ABC-5 Cleveland.

“At this time, no Board of Education member has indicated any intention to resign.”

It remains to be seen whether Mayor Shubert will follow through on his threat and ask for the school board members to be charged for distributing the offensive material.

Shubert made the comments to the school board just over a week after his wife of nearly 22 years tragically passed away at age 60 on September 3 after a 9-month battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

According to her obituary, Sherri and her husband were married at Saint Dominic Church in Shaker Heights, Ohio. The obituary states that Sherri followed “in the footsteps of Saint Dominic, and after five years of study became a fully-professed Third Order Dominican, taking the religious name, Sister Catherine of Sienna.”

School boards have frequently been the nexus of controversy this year as parents and board members have clashed over hot-button issues like critical race theory and mandatory masking.

BOSTON, Massachusetts, July 15, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Massachusetts is considering legislation that would allow children to be vaccinated without their parents’ knowledge or consent and weaken religious exemptions to current school vaccine requirements.

According to a press release put out by Health Choice 4 Action, a Massachusetts-based coalition of health care advocates, over 400 people signed up to testify before the Joint Committee on Public Health, which is considering several bills designed to change existing legislation related to immunizations.

Participants spoke for 3 minutes each at the 13-hour-long hearing which began at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 12 and ended 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13.

Health Choice 4 Action, which says it is “against medical coercion,” targeted a pack of new legislative proposals that would permit physicians to treat minors without parental consent in non-emergency situations, conceal medical records from parents, and do away with religious exemptions for students.

Among the most significant measures were Senate Bill 1517 and its companion House Bill 2271 (known as the Community Immunity Act) which were proposed by Democrat legislators Rep. Paul Donato and Sen. Becca Rausch, as well as House Bill 2411 filed by State Rep. Andy Vargas (D).

Opponents of the Community Immunity Act say the measure upends parents’ rights to be involved in their children’s medical decisions and gives schools authority to require whatever vaccines they choose.

The Act seeks to amend Section 12F, Chapter 112 of the Massachusetts General Laws, which grants physicians authority to treat minors without parental consent in emergency situations “when delay in treatment will endanger the life, limb, or mental well-being of the patient.”

Sen. Rausch said her bill “doesn't mandate vaccines” or “permit a young person to waltz into a pharmacy and get a vaccine."

However, the Act would expand existing law to allow health care providers to treat any minor, with no specified minimum age, for the “prevention” of any infectious diseases the child is “at risk of contracting,” with no prerequisite of a precipitating emergency and without notifying parents.

According to Health Choice, “[t]hese bills would allow children to be vaccinated without their parents’ consent or knowledge, even if the child is young or intellectually disabled. Parents might not ever know since medical records would be hidden from parents without a court order.”

The provision could create medical complications. Parents unaware that their children already received a shot without their consent could unwittingly have their children inoculated again with the same vaccine at a standard health care appointment.

Moreover, the bill fails to prevent authority figures from soliciting consent from minors without parental involvement.

Existing Massachusetts law does not require children to provide informed consent under Section 12F, which Health Choice said “is justifiable only on the basis that this statute is intended to provide for emergency treatments of minors, not preventative treatment.”

“At all times,” the coalition noted, “every person (and every minor) is at some level of risk of contracting illnesses. As such, these proposed amendments would permit a health care provider to administer any preventative treatment designed to prevent any infectious disease, including vaccines, to any minor regardless of their capacity to provide informed consent. This is a fundamental departure from established law in the Commonwealth.”

Arguing that “medical decision-making for children is a fundamental right of parents that needs to be preserved,” Health Choice suggested that “parents would likely be astonished and concerned by this provision.”

The press release said the bills would also “limit the criteria for medical exemptions” to a single list created by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which “was never meant to define all circumstances necessitating a medical exemption.”

“A one-size-fits-all approach is simply bad medicine,” Health Choice said.

The Community Immunity Act would additionally allow educational institutions to create their own immunization requirements, which might include vaccines not otherwise required by the Department of Public Health.

Further, the coalition says the legislation would “strongly incentivize” private daycares, schools, and camps “to refuse religious exemptions to avoid being publicly branded as an ‘elevated risk program.’”

The Massachusetts proposal is similar to a 2020 Washington, D.C. law which permits children eleven years old and older to consent to vaccination without parental knowledge. Four parents have filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court, seeking a court order declaring the law unconstitutional.

As Children’s Health Defense pointed out, the D.C. Act has dire implications for the health of children. If parents do not know their child was vaccinated at school, they may not recognize vaccine adverse reactions. Serious adverse reactions require immediate medical treatment and are contraindications to further vaccination. Also, if the family doctor is unaware the child was vaccinated at school, additional vaccines may be administered too close in time to those given at school. Vaccine manufacturers, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and government public health authorities publish strict warnings about the timing of vaccines. Children are typically unaware of their family medical history and any inherent contraindications to vaccines.

‘Systemic bias against those with differing religious beliefs’

In addition to the Community Immunity Act, Health Choice 4 Action also took aim at House Bill 2411 introduced by Rep. Vargas.

The bill would prevent students attending institutions ranging from daycare to college from obtaining religious exemptions, and force students with current exemptions to take the required vaccines in order to continue their education.

A summary of the bill produced by Health Choice said the measure “demonstrates systemic bias against those with differing religious beliefs.”

Rep. Vargas defended his move to strip out the religious exemption to vaccination, saying that “whether we like it or not, Americans, Massachusetts residents and human beings have a responsibility for the health and safety of one another.”

At the hearing early this week, concerned parents argued that the bills unfairly target families with strong religious beliefs and infringe on medical and religious liberty.

“When evaluating the proposed bills, please contemplate the following questions," said Timothy Murzycki, a father who testified at the committee, “Is this freedom? Is this a democracy? Is this a free and fair society?”

Beth Cook, another parent, called the bills “discriminatory toward families whose sincere moral and religious beliefs influence their decisions regarding vaccination and medical intervention.”

Many pro-lifers have concerns over the use of the bodies of aborted babies in vaccine development and/or production, and the fact that the only measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine available in the U.S. contains in the syringe DNA of aborted children (cell lines RA273, WI-38, MRC-5). Other parents may not want to follow the exact vaccine schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). That vaccine schedule, for example, recommends newborns be vaccinated for hepatitis B, which is spread through dirty needle sharing or sex with an infected person.

Despite differing approaches, Rep. Vargas said his bill and the Community Immunity bills are intended to accomplish the same goal, which he said is addressing “the high rates of vaccine exemptions in our state."

But Health Choice 4 Action says “there is no immunization problem in Massachusetts.”

“We enjoy the highest school vaccination rates in the country, without coercive measures, and have had no outbreaks of vaccine preventable illness in school-aged children in the past decade,” the coalition said.

Nonetheless, Vargas said that “as lawmakers, we have to reason with the facts, listen to trained experts, trust the science and make tough decisions to stop preventable death and illness. We learned this the hard way during the pandemic.’

Versions of the bills currently under consideration had been proposed in 2019 but were killed off or died in committee. They were revived this year amid renewed interest due to COVID-19.

The coronavirus vaccines are not fully approved by the FDA, but merely granted emergency use authorization.

SAN FRANCISCO, June 4, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — In a health order released April 28, 2021, the City of San Francisco officially allowed children as young as 12 to take the coronavirus vaccine without parental notification or consent.

The health order was issued even though the vaccines have not been fully approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), but are merely given an emergency use authorization.

Indeed, the order argues that “In the coming months, not only is it likely that the authorization for such vaccines will be expanded (both in terms of the numbers of vaccines but also in terms of non-emergency approval), but it is also likely that the age range of those who are authorized to receive the vaccine in the United States will be expanded to allow for more minors to receive the vaccine.”

The document urged that “although many people have received the COVID-19 vaccines, it is critical from a public health perspective that as many people as possible, including minors, receive the vaccine.”

The San Francisco Department of Health justified this decision by referring to prior cases that allowed for children to give their own consent: “This ability to consent is similar to the concept used elsewhere in state law that minors 12 years old or older may consent to the diagnosis or treatment of infectious diseases, including specifically COVID-19, without parental consent. Allowing prevention of the disease via vaccination is just as important as allowing a minor to be tested for that disease or to be treated for it.”

LifeSiteNews reached out to Executive Director, Michael Ramey of ParentalRights.org, a non-profit political action group working to pass legislation that protects families, to comment on the issue of consent.

“The U.S. Supreme Court recognized decades ago that most children, even in adolescence, are not yet ready to make the kind of long term, potentially life-altering decisions often involved in their medical care,” he said. “The Court rightly declared that it is the proper role of parents to make those judgments. Yet today, we are seeing a flood of orders like this one that ignore this vital parental role. Claiming to give a child ‘freedom’ to make their own decision, all they really do is rob the child of the protection that fit, loving, older and wiser parents can give them from a wrong decision. Such orders put children’s lives at risk, and should be discarded for the unconstitutional rubbish that they are.”

“It isn’t ‘freedom’ if the only time the law empowers a minor to defy her parents is when she’s making the decision the government wants her to make in the first place,” Ramey continued. “That's not freedom: it’s coercion of a minor who has been stripped of her defenses.”

Children and vaccines

The coronavirus is no grave threat for children and teenagers.

America’s Frontline Doctors issued a white paper indicating that the survival rate of children under 19 years that have contracted the coronavirus is 99.997%. Dr. Paul Alexander, a physician writing for the American Institute for Economic Research (AIER) explains that there are almost no instances of asymptomatic spread of the virus. Further, he is arguing that children do not need to be vaccinated, and that herd immunity can happen through day-to-day contact in schools. Alexander told Laura Ingraham on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” that “[t]he risk to children is so small, there is no reason to put our children in harm’s way at this point. Not with these untested vaccines. This is reckless.”

Alexander said, “Ludvigsson published a seminal paper in the New England Journal of Medicine on COVID-19 among children 1 to 16 years of age and their teachers in Sweden. From the nearly 2 million children that were followed in school in Sweden, it was reported that with no mask mandates, there were zero deaths from COVID and a few instances of transmission and minimal hospitalization.”

There is hesitancy to vaccinate children due to “lack of confidence in the vaccine” according to the WHO.

Emergency Use Authorization for vaccines
The FDA has issued an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for three coronavirus vaccines. An EUA can only granted to a medication or vaccine if there are no alternative treatments available, but it doesn’t amount to an actual approval of that medication of vaccine, with proper testing before.

On May 10, 2021, the FDA officially extended the EUA to include children aged 12 to 15 for the Pfizer vaccine. The Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines have still not been given an EUA for adolescents.

The Order, the San Francisco Department of Health claims, is both reasonable and necessary because it is “issued based on evidence of continued community transmission of COVID-19 within the City, throughout the Bay Area, across California, and across the United States; evidence that most COVID-19 infections are caused by people who have no symptoms at all of illness.”

The health risks, the department argues, are serious enough to warrant such an order.

“[T]he age, condition, and health of a significant portion of the population of the City places it at risk for serious health complications, including death, from COVID-19; further evidence that others, including younger and otherwise healthy people, are also at risk for serious outcomes including death; evidence that breakthrough infections can occur in fully vaccinated people; and the reality that SARS-CoV-2 infections and COVID-19 diagnoses remain prevalent throughout the world.”

French court removes 6 children from British parents of 10 after dispute over Catholic schooling

Clare and David Graham's daughters, age 9 and 10, have been placed in the care of an Algerian man who has been teaching them 'Muslim prayers.’ The Grahams told LifeSiteNews that French social workers repeatedly made rude comments about their family size and laughed with the police about putting the terrified family in cells.

ORNE, France, May 27, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) — A British couple who hoped a judge could help settle a dispute over their children’s schooling in France was stunned when the court decided to put the children in foster homes instead.

The six children are all Catholics, and the two little girls — age 9 and 10 — have been placed with a couple who, the mother reports, refuses to take them to Mass but has taught them how “to do Muslim prayers.”

One of children’s adult sisters told LifeSiteNews by email that the four older siblings are “very upset” at the seizure of the six minors and that the younger siblings just want to come home.

“Me and my elder brothers and sister are very upset about them being put in care, and it is very hard when the children ask, ‘When can we come home?’ and we don't know the answer,” said Georgina Graham, 21.

David and Clare Graham first moved to France in 2005 for “a better life” as Clare told LifeSiteNews. As Britain was then part of the European Union, Britons were free to live and work in France. The cost of living in the French countryside was cheaper than living in the U.K., and the Grahams could afford a larger house there.

At the time, the couple had four British-born children. Today, they have 10 children in all, six born in France. The eldest four are grown up and two of them, boys, are in Britain. Two of the girls, age 22 and 21, still live in France and help their parents with their four youngest brothers and two little sisters. David has maintained his family by continuing his profession as a builder in France, carrying out renovations and fixing roof, usually for fellow expatriate Britons.

Whereas David, 55, does not have a religion, Clare, 51, is a devout Catholic. Because she objected to the “rubbish” taught in secular state schools in the family’s neighbourhood — and because the schools give contraception to their students, among other reasons — four years ago the Grahams took four of their children out of the state school system.

Clare’s original idea was to home-school her kids. A parent at the children's school then reported her to French social services when the children no longer attended it. After sending the surprised Grahams a letter, the social workers appeared at their home. This was to be the beginning of a long and very rocky relationship between the Grahams and the various arms of the French social welfare apparatus.

‘I did find their questions intrusive, like they desperately wanted to find something wrong with my parents. I believe they didn't like how my mum is religious and has a lot of children, or the fact that my parents are British.’

Georgina Graham told LifeSiteNews that she had experienced racism and bullying in French state schools.

“I went to the local public schools and had very bad experiences with racism and physical and verbal bullying,” she said.

“(This) is one of the reasons my mother wanted to send my younger siblings to Catholic schools, so that they wouldn't have to go through what my older sister and I did.”

Georgina said, “At school I was tormented for being English and experienced racial slurs daily by students and teachers. I was also assaulted on numerous occasions: head-butted, punched, kicked (...) dog feces put in my schoolbag, chewing gum put in my hair. I had things thrown at me during all of my classes, so it was very difficult to concentrate on the lesson.”

Georgina confirmed that the social workers first “came into (their) lives around four years ago” when a parent reported her parents for taking her brothers out of school. Being questioned by them was a disagreeable experience.

“I did find their questions intrusive, like they desperately wanted to find something wrong with my parents,” she said

“I believe they didn't like how my mum is religious and has a lot of children, or the fact that my parents are British,” she continued.

“They have always been very rude to my parents.”

Traditional Catholic schools

Worried about social services removing her children but also that her children would be morally damaged by the state schools, Clare found sympathetic hearts at private Catholic schools. The two boys (now 15 and 12) continued their studies at a Catholic boarding school in the South of France, and the two girls (now 9 and 10) were enrolled in a Catholic boarding school nearer home. The one-income family is not wealthy, and the children were accepted by both schools on very generous terms. When their two youngest sons (now 7 and 5) were old enough to go to school, the Grahams enrolled them in the local primary school. Clare’s hope was that the little boys would also go to their brothers’ school when they were fluent in French.

The parents did not — and still do not — see eye to eye on the children’s education. David Graham told LifeSiteNews that he doesn’t mind his children being Catholic or going to Catholic schools, but he misses them very much when they are at boarding schools, and he knows that they miss being at home. He would prefer them to go to the local state schools nearby until the family returns to England.

Clare and David had separated on a previous occasion, when Clare had taken their children and gone to live in England for nine months. Eventually, tensions at home, exacerbated by the social workers, once again became too much for Clare, and in November 2020, she went to live in a rented house in another district of Normandy, Calvados, closer to the girls’ school, taking the two youngest boys with her. Clare told LifeSiteNews that she just “needed a break.” David told LifeSiteNews that one of the social workers had suggested that Clare move to Calvados so as to “take the heat off” from social services. Only an hour away, the children saw their father often during the brief separation.

Unfortunately, the move exacerbated the Grahams’ money troubles, already strained by an injury the self-employed David had sustained to his back. Because she had changed addresses, Clare’s family allowance and social security payments were blocked. Thanks to red tape, this situation continued from December 5 until May 11. Clare and the children squeaked by in Calvados on loans from her mother in England.

‘They’ve asked me umpteen times why I have so many children’

Clare and David both maintain that their children were healthy, well-cared for, and happy despite their parents’ troubles. Neither Clare nor David is fluent in French, which made dealing with employees of social services, who frequently arrived to interview any children at home, difficult.

Like her daughter Georgina, Clare believes that the social workers despise her Catholic faith and told LifeSiteNews that they had made inappropriate remarks about the size of her family. When social workers first came to the Graham home, they attempted to discuss contraception with the married Catholic mother.

“They’ve asked me umpteen times why I have so many children,” Clare said.

In April 2019, French social services passed the Grahams’ file to the “open environment educational action service” (that is, Service d’action éducative en milieu ouvert, or AEMO). AEMO was supposed to check on the family’s welfare overall — for example, to make sure they had enough money for their needs.

The family’s AEMO case worker seemed to befriend Clare, and it was she, Clare says, who advised her to leave her husband and go to Calvados. The AEMO case worker also suggested that Clare and David work out their disagreements about the children’s schooling in front of a children’s judge. When this led to the children being seized, Clare said, the AEMO worker apologized for setting up the hearing. However, David thinks the caseworker is actually responsible for the court’s decision to take his children.

“I am pretty sure the social worker is the one who swayed the judge even before we went to court,” he told LifeSiteNews.

“I got the feeling the judge just wanted an excuse to place our children.”

The hearing, in late November, was a disaster from the start. On the way to court, one of the little girls threw up on her brother, soiling his shoes. As a result, the boy appeared in court without them, which made a bad impression on the judge. The court documents state also that none of the four children wore a coat to the hearing. Two of the boys were not present, as they been sent back to school in the South of France, and when she found out, “the judge went mad,” Clare told LifeSiteNews, “banging the table, really threatening behavior.”

The children who were present huddled together. They were not forthcoming when they were questioned because they were frightened and intimidated by the court, Clare said. This also made a bad impression on the judge.

“They didn’t speak much to the judge because she was very intimidating,” the mother said.

“I found her intimidating, so heaven knows what they thought of her.”

David appeared with a lawyer; Clare did not. Nettled by the lawyer, Clare accused David of throwing a cot at her—which he had, over twenty years earlier, he admits—and of being mentally ill, which David denies. David, stung, accused Clare of throwing a cup and of pointing a knife at him. He also made unwarranted criticism of the elder boys’ school, which he now regrets. Clare regrets badmouthing her husband to the judge, telling LifeSiteNews her motive was to be able to keep her daughters in the Catholic school they love.

“So we really messed up,” David told LifeSiteNews.

“Neither one of us is violent, but I think we could not have made a bigger mess of the hearing that day.”

The court documents—which were never translated into English for the Grahams, and with which the Grahams take issue—make for sad reading. They allege that the family’s financial situation was “extremely precarious,” with many bills unpaid. Social workers alleged in October that the two youngest boys weren’t in school and that the two older boys didn’t want to go back to their boarding school. They also alleged that David thought this school was too strict and even that Clare had announced she wanted to divorce her husband and leave with the children during the October school break. (Clare denies she wants or wanted a divorce.)

The documents discuss the November separation and the state school’s surprise when the boys didn’t turn up for class. They say David had declared he was afraid to object to their removal to Calvados, for he thought Clare might report him as demented to emergency services. They say he was also afraid Clare might leave France with the children. They also say Clare claimed David was psychotic, had a criminal record back in the U.K., and had abused her.

Clare strenuously disagrees with many of the statements in the court papers.

The documents also indicate that the social workers thought Clare’s Catholic objections to the local state schools were to her discredit: “Mrs. Graham says it would be terrible for [child] who can’t read and write to go to a public school... She considers that the teachings of the secular school are inadequate and immoral.”

Clare told LifeSiteNews that the AEMO caseworker she thought was her friend stood up at the hearing and said that Clare did not want her children in the state schools because they gave out contraceptives. Clare felt humiliated by the stares that followed this announcement.

The documents also claim that the children can’t speak French, which Clare says is “a lie,” adding that her youngest daughters had been at the French convent school for three years, and that the teachers have reported the girls are fluent. The two youngest boys, she admits, are not yet fluent as they have not been at school for long. The documents also suggest that the children have had inadequate schooling, which Clare vehemently denies.

The judge’s decision shocked both parents. Instead of siding with one or the other on the schooling issue, the judge ruled that the children should be removed from their care:

Quote:Although separated materially because of the departure of Mrs. Graham in the department of Calvados shortly before the hearing, the usual residence of the minors was not granted to either of the two parents, this situation having vocation to last insofar as Mrs. Graham indicated not to consider a judicial separation for the moment from her husband. She speaks of difficulty in entrusting the children to the father, which the social services were unable to verify. Finally, it must be noted that although Mr. Graham deplores the choices made by his wife, considering them to be contrary to the interests of their common children, he has never taken a position for the protection of the children until now. In these conditions it is impossible to entrust the minors to one or the other of the parents. No person is capable to be designated as a trustworthy third party and no member of the family seems to reside on the national territory, and it should be recalled that the family was very isolated in the Orne region.

The minor children, who are living with their mother in Calvados, will therefore be placed for 6 months. The parents obtain mediate visits (in presence of third parties) every 15 days in alternation, with the possibility of lightening of these measures. [Emphasis added.]

Clare Graham told LifeSiteNews that her eldest daughter, who is 22, asked to take charge of her brothers and sisters so that they could be together, but her plea was refused. At least one of her adult daughters does, in fact, “reside on the national territory.”

Georgina Graham told LifeSiteNews on behalf of all her siblings that their parents have never neglected them.

“We have never been neglected by our parents in any way,” she said via email.

“They have always put their children first.”

‘It was like a nightmare’

The judge’s decision was not immediate, for she had said she needed to think about it. Then Clare was stunned when she received a letter about two weeks later saying that the children would be “placed,” that is, put into foster care. At first there had been a long delay, and Clare thought it was because there was no foster family that would take all six children. Her court-appointed solicitor had also made an appeal, and apparently a court of appeal was willing to suspend the placement if Clare could prove the children were in school. By then, all four of the boys were enrolled in state schools in Calvados, and the youngest were even receiving extra tuition.

“I thought it was done,” Clare said, meaning the threat of the children being taken away.

When the “placement people”—two women—came to Clare’s house on Friday, March 13 to tell her the children would be taken away on Monday, the mother had just received a letter from the court of appeal, asking her to provide certain papers.

The police eventually burst open the bedroom door, and one of the boys was so frightened, he wet himself. Georgina said that as they drove her to the station, the police laughed over the youngest child’s terror. ‘Whilst I was in the police car, I heard the police laughing hysterically at how their colleague had screamed and kicked down the door where my siblings were hiding and scared my five-year-old brother to death,’ she told LifeSiteNews.

“They contacted the judge who told the placement people to split the children up as no family would take six children together,” Clare alleged.

“I told the placement people that everything was well with the children; they were all at school [and] we had no problems. They dismissed me, saying the judge wants them in care so they will be going into care.”

Clare was devastated.

“We ran,” she said. “I couldn’t sit back and let them get taken like that.”

The social workers had told Clare to pack suitcases and prepare the children to leave for their foster homes. Clare and one of her adult daughters did pack up, but they fled the small house in Calvados on Monday with the children. These included the girls, who had come home from their boarding school on Friday.

Clare’s British passport had run out, and although she had applied for them, she hadn’t yet received British passports for the children. As a result, they moved from place to place in France before finally returning to David and the family home in Orne. There they must have let their guard down, Clare believes, for as she looked out the window early on Tuesday, April 6, she saw the police arrive.

“I’ve never been so frightened in my life,” she said.

The house in Orne is made of two dwellings joined together. The police “tore apart” one of them before entering the wing where Clare was hiding with the children in a bedroom.

“We heard them all next door, me and the children, and [the children] were terrified,” she recalled.

Georgina Graham described what it was like to be on the other side of the wall:

Quote:I woke up around 7 a.m. to my dad telling me to hurry downstairs — “The police are here to see you.” When I got down, I was confronted with about ten or twelve police in the kitchen. The chief approached me and was very aggressive and frustrated because they had still not found my mum and the six children after three weeks of searching for them. He raised his voice and said that he has been made a fool of because of me and my family. He then said, ‘I am going to ask you one last time where they are, and if you don't tell me, you will be arrested right now and put in custody until you do.’ I answered, 'I still don't know where they are’ and was then arrested, searched and put in a cell.

The police eventually burst open the bedroom door, and one of the boys was so frightened, he wet himself.

“My [5] children were pulled from my arms by social services and quickly rushed into cars and driven away extremely distressed,” Clare said.

“Nothing prepared me for that; it was like a nightmare.”

The Grahams’ 15-year-old son was taken away by police, alone and frightened, for questioning. Clare and David were arrested and charged with kidnapping their own children, and their adult daughters were also arrested and charged. The latter were kept in police cells for three hours, their mother said.

Georgina said that as they drove her to the station, the police laughed over the youngest child’s terror.

“Whilst I was in the police car, I heard the police laughing hysterically at how their colleague had screamed and kicked down the door where my siblings were hiding and scared my five-year-old brother to death,” she told LifeSiteNews.

The situation did not improve at the separate police stations to which the Grahams were taken.

“My treatment by the police was terrible,” Clare recalled.

“I was kept for 11 hours and not even offered a drink of water. The policeman interviewing me persistently shouted in my face, and two others present with him thought it was amusing.”

Clare accuses the social workers, too, of finding their situation laughable. When the social workers came to her house in March to say they were taking her children, Clare heard them laughing and asking each other who spoke the best English, she said. When the “placement people” came to the police station to take her 15-year-old son, they laughed with the police about putting the family in cells. Later, when social services returned a call by one of the adult daughters, they left a message on her phone, forgot to hang up, and “could be clearly heard to be laughing about it in the background,” Clare said.

The children were divided and put in different families, ones that do not share their faith and do not take them to Sunday Mass. The two girls, aged 9 and 10, were placed with an Algerian Muslim man and his French wife, against Clare’s wishes. Clare’s daughters have told her that their carer has said he wants to take them to visit Algeria. Meanwhile, when Clare expressed surprise that her dress-loving daughter was dressed, on a visit, in black jeans bought by their foster parents, a social worker told her that it was a good thing the children were in placement, for that way they could “express themselves.”

No Catholic schools, no Catholic Mass — but Muslim proselytism from foster parents okay?

Clare says she has seen her children only twice since April 5 even though most people get to visit their children in foster care once a week. The children are permitted to call her and speak to her for only up to 15 minutes, and only on weeks they haven’t seen her. Meanwhile, her request that her children continue to attend Catholic schools has been denied. Last week she was told it would help her case if she would sign a form saying that she will now place all her children in state schools.

“So I’ll get the children back so long as I follow what they say I’ve got to do,” she said.

‘I think it was done deliberately. [The placement workers] knew they were girls from a Catholic convent school, and yet they were placed with a Muslim man and his wife.’

And although the children have not been permitted to go to Mass, two of them are receiving religious instruction from quite a different quarter.

“I spoke with my daughters tonight, and they are not happy at all,” Clare told LifeSiteNews on May 13.

“[They] keep asking when they can come home. Shockingly, they asked if they could attend [Ascension Day] Mass today, but instead they were told how to do Muslim prayers,” she continued.

“I think it was done deliberately. [The placement workers] knew they were girls from a Catholic convent school, and yet they were placed with a Muslim man and his wife.”

Meanwhile, the siblings in the different fostering households are not permitted to see each other, and their sister Georgina’s request to visit them in person has been denied.

The court of appeal in Caen will give a judgement on the case in June.

Friends and family in Britain support the Grahams: ‘They were just a normal family’

An appeal has been made to raise funds for the Grahams to pay a private lawyer to get their children back home. Both parents have told LifeSiteNews that they wish to return to England with the children. Clare intends to homeschool them with the support of her extended family.

Gemma Lloyd, the English woman who set up the fundraiser, told LifeSiteNews that she is a family friend of the Grahams, having known Clare from their church community in Yorkshire since she was a little girl.

“I was told at Mass one week by Clare’s mother that this is happening to Clare, so I thought I should try to help in lots of different ways, contact some people who could help her in France, and then [realized] that she needs financial help,” Lloyd said.

The fundraiser was delayed while Clare worked with the court-appointed lawyer, but when this proved fruitless, Lloyd launched the giving page.

“We wanted to get her the best, really,” she said.

Lloyd last saw Clare and her children when they were last in Yorkshire, when the youngest was a baby, and she said the children were “as normal as they come.”

“They were just a normal family,” she asserted.

Asked why she thought the French state took away the Grahams’ children, Lloyd indicated that she believes secular ideology is behind it.

“They want to control the children’s minds and take away anything to do with God, anything to do with religion,” she continued.

“And to me the Catholic country that France was, is no longer Catholic. It’s more or less communist, like our Lady of Fatima warned us of.” [Emphasis The Catacombs]

Clare’s mother Sheila Campbell told LifeSiteNews that she and her husband are very distressed with the whole situation.

“We have 18 grandchildren and have tried to be involved with them all, as I believe that grandparents have a lot to offer the young ones in giving them a broader experience in life,” Mrs. Campbell said via email.

“George (my husband) and I both had grandparents who passed on a love of our Catholic faith, as well as sound advice on life itself,” the grandmother continued.

“I am therefore so upset that my younger grandchildren have been taken away in these circumstances, for no reason that I can understand. We have been refused permission to speak to them for the reason that we would speak to them in English and they would not understand what was being said. We would hardly be planning to take over the world!”

Campbell was distressed again to hear that her youngest granddaughters were being instructed in Islamic prayers.

“I know it was Eid, but more importantly, it was Ascension Day, and they should have been at Mass, not at a Muslim celebration,” she said.

Like her daughter, she thinks the girls were placed in that particular home because they were just completely their third year in a convent school when they were taken away.

“[The girls] were asking Clare last night why they can’t go back to the nuns, where they were settled and happy,” the grandmother wrote.

“I cannot begin to properly express how distressed and emotional I feel about this situation. We all just want the children back with the family and as soon as possible to be back in Yorkshire with their extended family who are all incredulous about the whole affair.”

Clare Graham has not received help from British authorities, even though her mother has contacted her MP and written to many others, including Prime Minister Boris Johnson. The British Embassy in Paris has been of limited use. Clare told LifeSiteNews that the British Embassy had been helping repatriate the family back to the U.K., but “all that came to a stop” after the hearing. Clare believes that when she contacted the British Embassy, when she was on the run, the official she spoke to called social services to report the conversation. One of the difficulties of the case is that Clare doesn’t believe that her six youngest children are French citizens, but the French bureaucrats they have dealt with say that they are.

Meanwhile, Clare’s medical doctor in France has been supportive and recently wrote two letters to the court to say, Clare says, that the mother “has always looked after the children well and didn’t have any mental health problems.”

According to the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child, a child has, “as far as possible, the right to know and be cared for by his or her parents.” The Convention states also that the child has the right “to preserve his or her identity, including nationality, name and family relations as recognized by law without unlawful interference.” The child also has the right to “freedom of thought, conscience and religion.”

Article 30 of the Convention is very clear about the rights of ethnic minority children, as the English-speaking Graham children are in France:

Quote: “In those States in which ethnic, religious or linguistic minorities or persons of indigenous origin exist, a child belonging to such a minority or who is indigenous shall not be denied the right, in community with other members of his or her group, to enjoy his or her own culture, to profess and practise his or her own religion, or to use his or her own language.”

LifeSiteNews has reached out to the Mother Superior of the convent school in which the girls were pupils, but she would not comment on the case. LifeSiteNews also reached out to the British Embassy in Paris, but its spokeswoman would not speak on record.

A new study led by Christopher Exley, Ph.D. found the aluminum content in infant vaccines is largely unmonitored and sometimes exceeds the amount listed on the product insert. Exley’s team also released a study showing a strong link between aluminum exposure and a type of Alzheimer’s disease.

April 23, 2021 (Children’s Health Defense) – The Defender recently wrote about Keele University’s decision to cut off the primary funding stream — charitable donations — for the world-famous UK-based aluminum research group, led by bioinorganic chemistry professor Christopher Exley, Ph.D.

As the direct result of Keele’s actions, the Exley lab will close Aug. 31, ending three decades of independent, cutting-edge research elucidating aluminum’s effects on health across the human lifespan.

Even in the face of their lab’s imminent closure, the Exley group continues to publish and add to its already impressive roster of approximately 200 publications.

The researchers’ two latest studies — one focusing on the largely unmonitored aluminum content of infant vaccines, the other on the strong association of aluminum in familial Alzheimer’s disease — underscore why independent research is so important, and so threatening to the status quo.

Aluminum in infant vaccines — ‘akin to a lottery’

One of the studies, published in the Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology, found the amount of aluminum an infant receives in a vaccine, far from being predictable or controlled, seems to be “akin to a lottery.”

The group analyzed the aluminum content of 13 infant vaccines manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline, Merck, Sanofi Pasteur and Pfizer. In 10 of 13 vaccines, the measured quantity of aluminum failed to match up to the amount of aluminum reported by manufacturers in patient information leaflets. Analysis across vaccines and vaccine lots revealed the following:

Six of the vaccines (about half), including Pfizer’s Prevnar 13, contained a statistically significant greater quantity of aluminum compared with manufacturer data.

Four of the vaccines contained significantly less.

For each single vaccine brand, the range of aluminum content “varied considerably.”

Neither the European Medicines Agency nor the U.S. Food and Drug Administration could confirm they independently or routinely measure the aluminum content of infant vaccines, instead indicating that they rely upon manufacturers’ (flawed) data.

These “not reassuring” findings suggest, according to the researchers, “that vaccine manufacturers have limited control over the aluminium content of their vaccines” and the aluminum content “of individual vaccines within vaccine lots vary significantly.”

Given aluminum’s known neurotoxicity, the researchers also emphasized we “cannot afford to be complacent about its injection into infants” — a position the Exley group has repeatedly emphasized, and which is shared by other experts.

Aluminum in familial Alzheimer’s disease

The second study, published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease Reports, builds on the Exley group’s extensive body of work linking aluminum to Alzheimer’s disease. The new study focuses on cases of familial Alzheimer’s disease, which is driven by predispositions that run in families.

The Mayo Clinic defines young- or early-onset Alzheimer’s as cases that affect individuals under age 65. The new Exley study examines human brain tissue from three Colombian familial donors with early-onset Alzheimer’s (ages 45, 57 and 60).

In all three cases, the researchers observed “neuronal cells loaded with aluminum” and noted the aluminum’s “unequivocal” co-location with neurofibrillary tangles across multiple brain regions. Neurofibrillary tangles (formed by misfolded tau protein inside the brain cells) are an important feature of and biomarker for Alzheimer’s.

The Exley group’s conclusion, which dovetails with their other studies of brain tissue and neurodegeneration — including findings showing extraordinarily high levels of aluminum in autism brain tissue — is that “these data support the intricate associations of aluminum in the neuropathology of fAD [familial Alzheimer’s disease].”

Young and old at risk

In recent years, the American insurance industry has reported a 200% increase in diagnosed dementia and Alzheimer’s among younger adults. UK researchers who looked at 20-year dementia trends in the U.S. and other western nations reported in a 2015 study in Surgical Neurology that dementias are starting “a decade earlier than they used to.”

Recognizing that roughly nine in 10 cases of young-onset Alzheimer’s have no genetic explanation, Exley has suggested in prior work that aluminum may act as a catalyst for early-onset Alzheimer’s in individuals “without concomitant predispositions, genetic or otherwise.” He proposes viewing Alzheimer’s as “an acute response to chronic intoxication by aluminum.”

As the Exley group points out in its new paper on infant vaccines, the aluminum adjuvants in the vaccines start the clock ticking on a lifetime body burden of aluminum.

Are we seeing some of the effects of this body burden in the younger adults in their 30s and 40s who now represent 15% of those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and dementia?

The Exley group also asks, what are the implications for children’s longer-term health when babies receive significantly more aluminum in their vaccines than the amounts that manufacturers and regulators (without convincing data) proclaim “safe”?

If universities continue to choke off funding for vital research, it may become increasingly difficult to answer these all-important questions.
