A Holy Hour for the intention of a truly Catholic outcome of the upcoming Conclave is being organized.

This idea was begun in the UK but the invitation is extended to all, so that the prayers of the faithful may, by covering different hours of the day, offer continual petition to the Blessed Trinity for a truly good pope, who will, among other things, perform Our Lady of Fatima's request for the Consecration of Russia.

The intentions of this Holy Hour would also include prayers for the Restoration of the Church in general and for the Resistance and Fr. Hewko's seminary, in particular, which as we know, are one and the same prayer!

In your charity, please pray for the soul of Dr. David Allen White who passed away on February 11, 2025.

Dr. White was a convert to Catholicism in 1979 while teaching at the Naval Academy in Annapolis. His influence there converted over thirty souls. He also lectured on literature at the SSPX seminary in Winona many times. At least one of his lectures remains available on the St. Thomas Aquinas Seminary bookstore website.

A short biography: “Doc” White, as he is affectionately called by most who know him, was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, in 1948, and was received into the Catholic Church in 1979. He received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1970, and his M.A. from the University of Wisconsin a year later. In 1981 he earned his Ph.D. in English Literature from Indiana University, where he also taught before moving on to the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. He then taught at Temple University, and later served – for 29 years – in the English Department at the United States Naval Academy, where he remains Professor Emeritus of English.

He is the editor of the Shakespeare encyclopedia Shakespeare A to Z and is the author of The Mouth of the Lion and The Horn of the Unicorn. Though technically retired, he is currently writing a biography of Bishop Richard Williamson. Dr. White, on behalf of and in conjunction with His Excellency Bishop Williamson, acts as the "public face" of the St. Marcel Initiative, handling much of its official correspondence and bearing responsibility for the release, as approved by the Bishop, of news and announcements regarding His Excellency's activities.

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò will be participating, as well as Deacon Keith Fournier and Fathers David Nix, Chris Alar, and James Altman.

The novena will begin on the Feast of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, November 21, and end on the Vigil of Saint Andrew, November 29. Saint Andrew is, of course, the patron saint of Scotland, the country in which the president-elect’s Gaelic-speaking mother, Mary Anne MacLeod Trump, was born and raised.

We will compile a list of the names of those who participate and present it by email to President Trump as a “spiritual bouquet” on St. Andrew’s Day, November 30. Fr. James Altman has agreed to deliver a paper copy to the president-elect’s home in Mar-a-Lago at a later date.

Here is the Novena Prayer:

During his recent and successful campaign, President Trump shared on X (formerly Twitter) an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe on September 8, the Feast of her Nativity, and publicly wished her a happy birthday. On September 29, he posted Guido Reni’s 1636 painting of St. Michael defeating Satan under a transcription of the Prayer to St. Michael. Although President Trump has sadly weakened his stance in defense of the unborn in recent years, Catholics were pleased (or intrigued) by his tweets. The then-candidate also took part, as is customary, in this year’s Al Smith Dinner hosted by the Archdiocese of New York, unlike his rival for the presidential office, current Vice President Kamala Harris.

On Truth Social, Trump accused the Biden-Harris administration of anti-Catholic persecution, possibly a reference to FBI plans to spy on Traditional Latin Mass communities and the arrest of Catholic pro-life witness Mark Houck at his home in front of his children. (It is worth noting, too, that the FBI targeted another Catholic pro-life witness, Mark Reno, who died in prison after a false accusation and was posthumously framed for the arson of an abortion clinic.)

“It’s sad, but not surprising, that Kamala has decided not to attend,” Trump posted. “I don’t know what she has against our Catholic friends, but it must be a lot, because she certainly hasn’t been very nice to them, in fact, Catholics are literally being persecuted by this Administration.”

Subsequently, 56 percent of U.S. Catholics who voted in the 2024 presidential election voted for Trump, and only 41 percent voted for Harris.

Thursday Night Holy Hour w/ the Intention of Appealing for Holy Bishops, Priests, and Religious

These Holy Hours started recently in the UK but is open to whomever wishes to participate - the following message is from one of the organizer regarding this appeal:

Thursday Night Holy Hour w/ the Intention of Appealing for Holy Bishops, Priests, and Religious

Since the seminary has started now and we really need a good holy bishop to help us out of our problems, we started in the UK doing Thursday night Holy Hours to the Sacred Heart with the intentions for:

Holy bishops
Holy priests
Holy religious vocations.

We are aware that we won’t be having Masses as often and feel we need to strengthen ourselves by more prayers.
There is a beautiful website with numerous meditations by Fr Mateo on the Sacred Heart. We use them to guide us through the adoration: https://sacredheartholyhour.com

Maybe something similar could be arranged, encouraged amongst the American faithful (if it is not already done)...

Night adoration in honour of the Sacred Heart was strongly promoted by Fr Mateo in America in the 1930s.

The inspiration is the request by the Sacred Heart to St Mary Margaret Alacoque to keep Him company during Thursday night and make reparation for all those souls who abandon Him. This happened first during Holy Thursday when the three Apostles slept and didn’t keep watch with him and is now happening again all over the Catholic Church.

According to Fr Mateo who promoted this practice, great graces are attached to this devotion and our Lord is very moved by it.

Would you want to join several of us in that practice? The night begins at 9pm and lasts until 6am. Any of these hours can be selected to spend time with our Lord.

The situation in the Church is so desperate and unless we have religious and priestly vocations and unless we have good holy bishops nothing can be restored…. So we have to pray for it…!

According to reports circulating on the Internet, Bishop Bernard Tissier de Mallerais, 79, has suffered a brain haemorrhage.

He is one of the three current bishops of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. Gloria.tv has learned that the headquarters in Menzingen has informed countries that the bishop's situation is not life-threatening.

Monsignor Tissier de Mallerais fell down the stairs at the seminary in Ecône, Switzerland, where he lives, on 28 September.

He has been suffering from age-related illnesses for some time, including difficulty walking.

Born in 1945, he had a master's degree in biology and joined Mgr Marcel Lefebvre in Fribourg in October 1969 to help found the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X.

He has held a number of important positions, including director of the seminary at Ecône.

The faithful are invited to pray for the prelate's recovery.

Mr. Pfeiffer is father to Frs. Timothy and Joseph Pfeiffer.

Mr. and Mrs. Pfeiffer gave shelter and cared for two traditional priests for many years who were abandoned by the Conciliar church in the 1970's for their adherence to Tradition, Fr. Urban Schneider and Fr. Hannifin.

In your charity, please pray for the soul of Bishop Vitus Huonder who passed away today, April 3, 2024.

Bp. Huonder was a Novus Ordo priest and bishop who spent the last several years in Swiss and German SSPX priories and schools. His Novus Ordo training, ordination, and consecration caused much consternation in traditional circles, where there was uncertainty considering the validity of the Sacraments his administered, the Holy Oils he consecrated, and most recently, the SSPX Priory he consecrated.

But even prior to these issues, he noted that he joined the SSPX as the request of Rome/Pope Francis [January 2015]. "... he [Bp. Huonder] frankly admits: «I fulfilled this mandate [of Holy See], and I'm still filling it out.» This is clear: Mgr Huonder works, even today, the integration of the Brotherhood into the Conciliary Church..." [taken from here].

Fr. Méramo was a priest of the SSPX for nearly 30 years.

It is my understanding that he served many of those years as the Prior of Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico.

He was expelled by Bishop Fellay in 2009 for opposing Bp. Fellay's new direction with regards to modernist Rome.
