This Bishop Huonder has been with the SSPX since 2019. As far as we know, he has not given a clear renunciation of the Conciliar Church since that time. The bishop's ordination and consecration in the New Rites have never been questioned despite there being much concern over the validity of these Rites (see for example Fr. Calderon's Study on Novus Ordo Episcopal Consecrations)
The SSPX's acceptance and promotion of Bp. Huonder has been another step in having gained them their 30 pieces of silver: they are quietly tolerated by Rome, their marriages are approved by the local diocesan bishops, they are given permissions to give absolution in confessions, etc.
